Illegal tourist from Cameroon and Congo were detained in Transcarpathia

During the last days a group of illegal migrants was detected in the area of Mukachevo Border Detachment of BS “Goronglab”. Two men and a woman of African appearance were stopped some hundreds meters from the state border.  In the course of a talk detainees announced that they are citizens of Cameroon and Congo and they intended to get illegally to the countries of Western Europe.

This day in the morning, due to received information from local residents the border guards detained one more citizen of Cameroon at the railway station.

All detainees are called to administrative responsibility according to Article 204 of CUAI. At the present moment detainees are at detention centre in Chop. Their future destiny will be decided by the court.

4 illegal migrants from Somalia were apprehended in the border in Transcarpathia

On October 3, border guards of BS “Uzhgorod” of Chop Border Detachment together with workers of MOI detected a group of illegal migrants from Somalia in the evening. The violators were succeeded to be detained due to operative information received by the border guards the day before.

Minibus Mercedes driven by Ukrainian was stopped by the border guards for check in a border zone. Four men of the age 17 to 22 years old of African appearance sitting in the bus did not have any documents. Each of them reported about their wish to get to the countries of European Union. The driver of the minibus confessed that some more unfamiliar persons he dropped off nearby.

Documents were drawn up as to detainees on calling them to administrative responsibility. The trespassers were delivered to border department, the investigation is hold.

Generally, during 9 month of the current year State Border Service of Ukraine detained 934 persons. There were 308 persons – citizens of Moldova and Georgia among the majority of the detainees, 155 citizens of Afghanistan and 104 Somalis.

Illegal migrants from Africa are trying to cross the border of Transcarpathia by “Mercedes”

Late in the evening policemen together with border guards having corresponding information stopped the minibus to check in the area of the village Barvinok, Uzhgorod district, which was driven by 34-year-old driver. The law enforcement agents detected four dark-skinned men inside the car (two of them were minors). Illegal migrants called themselves citizens of Somalia. They did not have any documents. The illegal migrants and driver were handed over to border detachment.

In Transcarpathia border guards detained eight illegal migrants from Africa

The border detail of BS “Goronglab” detained a group of seven Africans in the distance of 500 km before the state border line.  At such a brisk way, Transcarpathia will soon turn into  Africa…

These persons had no documents and none of them spoke neither Russian nor Ukrainian. Later on, according to the results of searching actions, one more citizen was detected already in the distance of3 km who did not have documents as well as did not know Ukrainian language. The establishment of attempt on state border cross goes on. At the present moment it is already known that three detainees are citizens of Guinea, and five other are citizens of Congo.
