Three citizens of Vietnam were apprehended by the border guards of BS “Uzhgorod” in Transcarpathian region.  A man and two women were stopped some hundred metres before the border. According to the words of detainees it became known that they intended to get to Poland, particularly to Warsaw. They were transported to the border as if by two unfamiliar persons whom they paid $ 3 thousand each. But the men in masks taking them to the forest ordered migrants to wait. Then they went to the car and disappeared in unknown direction. On arriving to Warsaw,Vietnams had to pay some more thousands of dollars. Now, operative actions are carried out on establishment of circumstances of the infringement and persons involved in it.

On January 16, the border guards of Belgorod-Dnistrovk Detachment serving the check point “Starokozache” detected documents belonging to bearer. There were forged marks done by the representatives of State Border Service.
During the registration of the regular bus making its route from Odesa to Kishinev the officers of Border Department paid attention to man who was travelling with three children. 29-year-old passenger was the citizens of Denmark who as if was travelling with his children. However, during the check of the documents it was cleared out that passport really belonged to this man but children were travelling with strange documents. There was also a woman with a child detected in the bus who presented the documents of citizens of Great Britain for control. Their documents also belonged to someone else. The thing is that law enforcement agents detected forged marks in all documents of the representatives of State Border Service. In the course of the check one more document was found at woman for one more child.
As it was clarified later, the man came to Ukraine in order to help the citizen of Somalia and her children to get to the countries of EU. On this purpose he took some passport document with him. In addition to that passports were of his children. They decided to get to European countries through the neighbouring Moldova for some reason or other expecting that on this direction they will successfully cross the border. One more Somali helped them in preparation to illegal trip. But they were not managed to be left unnoticed as border guards in the south exposed such cunning “travellers” not for the first time. At the present moment all conditions of infringement are established now. The citizen of Denmark and Somalia will probably be called to criminal responsibility according to Article 332 of CCU “Illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine”.

In 2011 Ministry of Interior detected 13,3 thousand illegal migrants on the territory of Ukraine, of them 13 thousand were expelled beyond the borders of the country.
This information was provided by the Minister of Interior Vitaliy Zakharchenko. According to his words, 1,8 thousand illegal migrants had to be deported from the country in forced order. He also marked that 55 thousand foreigners were called to administrative responsibility for the break of the legislation on legal status of the foreigners. In addition to that V.Zakharchenko mentioned that 20 thousand Ukrainians were also called to administrative responsibility violation of the present legislation as well as 1,3 thousand juridical persons.

Due to watchfulness of border detail during the control of the train “Kharkov-Uzhgorod” a man of Asian appearance was detected and detained, who tried to avoid the meeting with the border guards. In the result of detention it was established that this person without documents named Vietnam the country of his citizenship and the point of his destination had to be Slovakian Republic. But now his destiny will be decided by the court.

During the first four days of New Year border guards of Transcarpathian region stopped three attempts of illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine.

The first trespassers of Transcarpathian border in 2012 were two persons without documents, who were detained by the border guards of BS “Uzhgorod” after overcoming the barrage fence beyond the check point.  In the course of clarifying the circumstance of infringement and establishment of detainees’ citizenship, it became known that one of them was the citizen of Azerbaijan. He arrived to Ukraine to visit his friend – citizen of Ukraine. He planned to get to Slovakia with his friend. Later on in accordance with the results of operational-test activities, the exact goal of their intention to get abroad and persons involved in their assistance will be established.

The second detention took place in the area of BS “Tysa” – it was 65-year-old resident of Russian Federation, the native of Dagestan was apprehended in the evening some metres before the border line. Border detail received information ahead of time about unfamiliar person intending to cross the border to Hungary. At present moment the personality of detainee and circumstance of his trip to European Union are established.
