Border guards detected Ukrainian travelling to Slovakia by someone’s passport

picBorder guards of Chop Detachment in the check point “Uzhgorod” detected a citizen of Ukraine attempting to cross the state border of Ukraine using document not belonging to the bearer and by this he violated the requirements of Article 12 of Law of Ukraine “About state border of Ukraine”. Law enforcement agents established that fifty-one-year old Ukrainian travelling to Slovakia during documents check. While reviewing documents 51-year-old citizen of Ukraine, moving towards Slovakia, law enforcement officers established that the passport provided for control was deemed to be lost or stolen being registered in the database of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. It will be noted that this database allows you to establish and exchange quickly information about stolen and lost documents proving identity and citizenship. During the subsequent interview the Ukrainian explained that he had no visa to enter the territory of Slovakia, thus, he took the document found in the town of Uzhgorod. Currently, a decision was made as to our compatriot on reject in allowing to cross the state border, case materials on administrative infringement were prepared. His further fate will be defined by the court.
