Turkish citizens tried to leave Ukraine by fake passports

12-11-2018

During check in of the passengers of the bus traveling to Germany, five foreigners, including three children, provided the passports of Greek citizens for the border guards’ check. The border guards immediately recorded the forgery signs in the document – namely, the lack of watermarks, unauthorized attachment of other sheets with constituent data and a number of other signs of passport falsification. It was later revealed that these documents were in the database Interpol. In the course of further filtration activities the law enforcement officers found passports of Turkish citizens.

So far, investigative actions proceed. With regard to the foreigners the protocols have been drawn up as to their attempt to cross illegally the state border and use of forged documents.
