The border guards detained a 21-year-old citizen of Singapore in Lviv region. He was caught the second time for the last days. On Easter the detail of Border Service “Syanky” stopped him 300 m before Ukrainian-Polish border. The young man having only the Xerox copy of his passport named himself the first-year student of Economic Faculty of I.Franko Lviv University. As it was cleared up, he was really in the list of the students of that university. As the detainee convinced the lawmen that he went for a rest on weekends and then got lost, so papers were  drawn up for the violation of border regimen. He was adjudged to the penalty of 340 UAH.

Soon he was detained by the deployment forces of Department of Border Service “Smilnytsya”. The violator was taken to border subdivision. This time he has to account for the attempt of illegal cross of the border.

It is worth to remark, that last year during the interdepartmental check of Ukrainian universities it was appeared that more than a hundred of foreign students disappeared. The part of them was detained by the lawmen during their attempts to cross the state border.
