The Police officers found the parked car i”Mersedes Vito” n Volovets district. Upon the vehicle’s examination, the law enforcers detected a group of seven illegal migrants without any documents. There were minors and women inside the car. As it was established by the staff of Department on Crimes Combating related with human trafficking, the driver took the passengers in the road of Lviv region. The migrants attempted to exit the region, and then to get to EU. Currently, the persons are under the identification. The passengers of the car “Mersedes Vito” informed that they planned to reach Transcarpathia and then to get abroad – to the European Union. Illegal migrants were delivered to State Migration Service. Police commenced the case on criminal proceeding under Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine (Illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine). The driver assured that he was ready to cooperate in the investigation on persons’ identification and search of the smugglers. The investigation goes on.
