A group of illegal migrants was apprehended in the suburb of the village Stuzhytsya by border guards of Chop Border Detachment. Seeing border guards migrants started to run. In order to stop runaways the law enforcement agents had to make three warning shots up. As it was established later the runaways were citizens of Somalia: two women and three men of the age 18 -23 years old without documents. According to the words of detainees they intended to cross Ukrainian-Slovakian border in the search of better life in the countries of European Union.  These citizens were detained in accordance with Article 204-1 of CCU. At the present moment detainees are in detention centre in Chop.
