Two citizens of Russia have been recently detained by the border
guards of Chop Detachment in the area of BS “Onokivtsi” in
Transcarpathia. Border detail started immediately to look for the
possible trespassers after alarm system went off. In a result of
conducted actions border guards with service dog detected and detained
a man and woman 300 m before the border on Slovakia. The young persons
were the spouses informing that they were the citizens of Russian
Federation, however they could not confirm it by documents. Also
according to the words of the detainees it was established that each
of them were 25 years old and they planned illegal trip to EU, namely
to Austria, aiming at employment. Russians also told that they used
“Google maps” for working out their route beyond the check point.
However, it did not help the travelers. The trespassers were delivered

the infringement and processing administrative and procedural
documents. Decision on responsibility before the law and their further
destiny will be defined by the court.
