The officials of Security Service of Ukraine detained one of Uzhgorod organizers of illegal transportation of migrants from the Middle East to EU, who since 2015 had fled from investigation. The malefactor together with the accomplices met illegal migrants in Transcarpathia accompanying them to the border and transporting to the neighboring country beyond the check point. The staff of Special Service apprehended one of the grouping members during accompaniment of the next group of illegal migrants to the place of border crossing. Prejudicial inquiry established the personality of the organizer, who immediately “retreated into the shadows”. The investigators of SSU Department in Transcarpathia region served the detainee with charges on crime commitment provided by Part 2 Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine. The court imposed the organizer a pre-trial restraint in the form of custodial detention.
