The officers of check point “Yagodyn” in Volyn region detained two illegal migrants. The trespassers, 20 and 24-year-old citizens of Turkey were travelling by train “Kyiv-Berlin”. During the check of documents both of them presented special passports that were completely forged. In presented for control documents experts of State Border Service found mistakes, there were numerous differences of types in comparison to a sample, absence of some protective elements.
As it was cleared out, Turks arrived to Ukraine legally through airport Odessa. In order to get to Germany they bought forged documents in their country paying for them $450 each.

Two groups of illegal migrants were detained at Ukrainian-Hungarian area of state border of Ukraine. Detail of Border Service of Mukachevo detachment detected not far from the village Vilok two men. They did not have any documents, however they called themselves as citizens of Turkey.
As it was established, foreigners arrived to Ukraine as tourists. They told that they came to Transcarpathian region to evaluate forest as they had planned to buy it for building. According to the words of detainees, documents, phones and money were taken from them by two unfamiliar persons who brought them to the border, and then they were robbed by people who named themselves law enforcement agents.
Three more violators moving towards the border early in the morning were detected with the help of thermal imager by detail of Department “Luzhanka”. The workers of State Border Service announced about them to Hungarian colleagues who stopped illegal migrants. Detainees were citizens of Iraq.

In Luhansk region illegal migrant from Armenia was apprehended. Man being strongly drunk came up to exit barrier of the check point “Chervonopartyzansk”. Being requested to show his document, he gave army card of 26-year old citizen of Armenia named Grisha. According to data base a person with this name was forbidden to enter Ukraine. After that he departed from Ukraine and did not return officially.
The border guards contacted the spouse of the Armenian, citizen of the town Chervonopartyzansk. The woman confirmed that her friend lived illegally in Ukraine. At first the violator was taken to medical establishment, where his state was confirmed and after that he was delivered to border subdivision. When illegal migrant sobers up he will undergo investigation procedure and a law decision will be made as to his act.

Four Ukrainian were convicted in Transcarpathian region – members of crime group who organized channel of illegal migration for citizens of Somalia through the state border of Ukraine.
Three members were sentenced to four years of imprisonment, and the fourth was set five years of imprisonment as he was tried before for robbery.
In June 2010 the criminals organized illegal transportation of four citizens of Somalia through the state border of Ukraine and were detained by the officers of SSU nearby Ukrainian-Hungarian border not far from the villages Bovtrad and Shom, Berehovo region.

A man transporting four Vietnamese illegal migrants by snowmobile was apprehended by the border guards of BD “Vovchansk” in Kharkov region.
At about 9 p.m. border detail patrolling not far from the village Peletenivka noticed the following picture: snowmobile was moving from Russian village Shebekino with “load”. Stopping the vehicle border guards saw that there were four foreigners hiding in the self-made sledges which was towed with rope by the snowmobile. The owner of this vehicle and at the same time smugglers was 40-year-old citizen of Russia, a citizen of one of the border villages. The personalities of illegal migrants were also successfully established. They were citizens of Vietnam who were going, according to their words, to be employed at Kharkov market “Barabashove”. Two women and two men came to Moscow being invited by one Russian company, however they did not intend to stay in Bilokamiyana: their final target was Kharkov. At the present moment, a person who had to meet the migrants at Ukrainian territory is already established. A criminal case was commenced according to the Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine “Illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine”.
It should be mentioned that Kharkov is the biggest nucleus of Vietnam Diaspora in Ukraine. Vietnamese migrants mainly working at the markets get to Ukraine from Russia.

Late in the evening border guards in Lviv region detained a man trying to cross illegally the border on Poland. The trespasser was detected with the help of thermal imager by detail of department “Nyzhankovychi”. Detainee did not have any documents. He named himself 32-year-old citizen of Iraq who had been a student of Sumy Polytechnic University since 2007. According to the words of the foreigner he was working up as barber-stylist and had two corresponding Ukrainian diplomas. In order to improve his professional status the barber wanted to get also diplomas in the countries of European Union, however he could not get visa. Thus, he decided to get illegally to Poland. In border area he avoided public places in order not to attract additional attention. Illegal migrant reported that he was walking about 5 hours in the forests and field avoiding the villages. His friend from Belgium had to help him in Poland.

European Union is going to conclude a development contract for building tens Temporary Accommodation and Detention Centres for illegal migrants in Ukraine.
The biggest centers of illegal migrants’ stay, for 100 persons each are going to be equipped in Mykolaiiv and Donetsk regions. In Chop (Transcarpathian region) a centre will appear a little bit later designed for 66 persons. Besides, it is planned to equip seven small centres for 10 persons each – three in Transcarpathian region, two in Lviv and by one in Sumy and Luhansk regions.
Until now, the arrangement of TACs is at the starting stage: there is acceptance of tender proposals in Ukrainian Reprehensive Action Office of EU, which will continue till April 11.

Border guards stopped two Moldavian boys in Odessa region who crossed the border illegally. Late in the evening on the screens of mobile thermal set showed thermal images appeared moving from Moldavian village Palanka to Ukrainian one – Udobne with the help of which control for the border area carried out. A detail was directed to meet them. The violators were 11-year-old citizens of Palanka. At about midnight in the check point “Udobne” border guards of Bilgorod-Dnistrovskyi handed boys to their Moldavian colleagues, then they were transferred to their parents.

In the area of BS “Dyula” of Mukachevo Border Detachment (Ukrainian-Romanian border) information was received from local citizens about movement of four unknown persons towards the state border. Administrative-operative group started immediately aiming at protecting the line of state border in direction of possible movement of the violators. At about 2.30 a.m. the border details of “Administrative-operative group” and “Border patrol” detected and detained 4 illegal migrants intending to cross the border in the distance of about 2000m before the state border. According to the words of detainees they were citizens of Somalia. At the present moment filtration measures are taken as to detainees.
