Illegal migrants from Moldova were taken from the bus “Chernovtsy-Uzhgorod”

The officer of Border Service “Delovoe” of Mukachevo Border Detachment detected two men without documents at the regular-route bus “Chernovtsy-Uzhgorod”. It was established that illegal migrants were citizens of Moldova. Detained “tourists” were handed to border guards of BS “Delovoe”.

Police and SSU carried out a raid on private motel in Transcarpathia

Illegal migrants from different countries continue attack Ukrainian state border in Transcarpathia hoping to get to the countries of the West. However, law enforcement agents are on their way.

Thus, police officers of Migration Control together with SSU workers detected and detained 8 citizens without documents on the territory of private motel in a village of Uzhgorod district. Five of them were citizens of Moldova and three Ukrainians.

In the centre of Uzhgorod policemen together with border guards apprehended a young man without documents, who named himself as a citizen of Uzbekistan.

Detained illegal migrants were handed to border guards. Now it is established how they got to Ukraine and how they intended t cross European border.

Bangladeshis did not convinced border guards that they were students of one of Ukrainian universities

In the international airport “Donetsk” officers of State Border Service of Ukraine detained two citizens of Bangladesh, who intended to get to our country with forged documents.

Foreigner arrived from Istanbul and explained that they made their way to Luhansk aiming at continuation of their studies at Eastern-Ukrainian National University named after V. Dal. However, during passport control border guards doubted in their aim of visit. In the course of the interview with the foreigners, it became known that these citizens were not students of mentioned university, and they arrived to Ukraine for the first time.

Besides, during the expert examination of the documents law enforcement agents established that notes about studying and stay were forged. Administrative documents were drawn up as to the detainees. Now, they are forbidden to enter the territory of Ukraine for the period of 3 years.

Four more foreigners – two citizens of Ethiopia, Eritrea and female citizen of Somalia were apprehended by the border guards of BS “Kosyno” of Mukachevo Detachment. Three men were stopped by law enforcement agents for documents check in the suburb of the village Yanosh, Berehovo district, Transcarpathian region. They did not have any documents identifying them. Soon, detail detained a Somali woman in this area. All detainees confessed in their intention to get to one of EU countries.

Now, foreigners are at Temporary Detention Centre. Their further destiny will be decided by the court.

Detained Georgians at the border on Slovakia did not want to fly away from “Boryspil”

During the check-in of the passengers for the flight to Tbilisi, four citizens of Georgia being expelled from Ukraine in forced order, made an uproar and declared about their refuse to return back home. Men did not react upon the requests of the law enforcement agents to calm down. One of them even tried to make himself bodily injures. Threats and accusation were heard as to unjust treatment from the side of citizens of Georgia. Now, the conflict is settled and men are sent to the country of residence.

Reminding, recently these citizens were detained by border guards of Chop Detachment in Transcarpathia. They wanted to cross the state border of Ukraine to Slovakia illegally.

Transcarpathian border guards detained 7 citizens of Moldova at the border

During the day, border guards of Chop Detachment stopped several attempts of illegal cross of the state border beyond the check points. In two cases in the area of BS “Novoselytsya”, due to able skills of the border details and apply of technical devices of border security, five citizens of Republic of Moldova were caught intending to get illegally to Slovakia.

In the first case, border guards stopped the trip of two citizens of Moldova, who were walking at night and did not have any documents identifying them. In the second case, the trio of the travellers detained in the morning confirmed their personalities at once by showing their documents to the border guards. The third detention was carried out by the staff of border post “Onokovtsy” of BS “Uzhgorod”. Early in the morning, border detail detected two violators, who tried to overcome the barrage fence and get to Slovakia beyond the checkpoint. But the trip of unfamiliar persons stopped 200 m before the state borderline. As detainees reported, they were citizens of Moldova and during arrest, they did not have any document, which could identify them. Men made their way to one of the countries of European Union.

After apprehension, all trespassers were delivered to subdivisions in order to establish the circumstances of infringement and prepare administrative and procedural documents. Decision about responsibility before the law and their further destiny will be made by the court.

Border guards revealed forged Turkish passport in the airport “Boryspil”

Border guards of checkpoint “Kyiv” detained three men arriving by the flight from Dubai. Travellers presented passport of the citizens of Turkey for the check. However, law enforcement agents established that documents were partially forged, namely the photos of the owners and term of passport’s validity. So, the violators were not allowed to cross the border and they were sent back by a return flight.

Border guards detained two Armenians who proposed a bribe

Two citizens of Armenia tried to bribe the border guards of BS “Feodosiya” of Simferopol Detachment. Monetary award in the sum of $100 man proposed for solution of problem as to putting marks about their cross of the state border of Ukraine to his passport for travelling abroad and to one of his wife. As it became known in a result of investigation, in December 2011 these citizens were issued new passports as the term of the old ones had finished. However, there were no any marks on crossing the Ukrainian border in new passports. Protocols on administrative infringement were drawn up for these citizens in accordance with Part 1 of Article 203 of Code of Ukraine about Administrative infringements. Their destiny will be decided by the court.

Transcarpathian border guards detained two Moldavians at the very border

Border guards of BS “Uzhgorod” of Chop Border Detachment stopped the attempt of illegal cross of the border by two Moldavians without any documents. Violators were detected at daybreak by border detail.

In the course of conducted measures on the search of the trespassers already in 10 minutes in the distance of about 250 m from the line of state border with Slovakian Republic after the overcoming of the barrage fence two men were apprehended.

As it was informed, detainees were citizens of Moldova and during detention did not have any documents identifying their personalities. The men made their way to European Union.

In a result of detention, violators were delivered to subdivision in order to establish circumstances of infringement and preparation administrative and procedural documents. Decision about responsibility before the law and their further destiny will be made by the court.

Border guards detained a group of illegal migrants together with the smugglers

In the course of special activities organized by the officers of State Border Service, a transborder criminal grouping engaged in organization and transportation to European Union illegal migrants from Southern-Eastern Asia in Lviv region was exposed.

Border detail of BS “Krakivets” Mostytskyi Detachment detained a group of “travellers” from Afghanistan 50 m before the borderline. Four unfamiliar persons were noticed with the help of mobile thermal imager. Border guards overtook and detained trespassers. They were four citizens of Afghanistan and a child of 1,5 year old. In the course of further searching action, border guards found organizers of smuggling of illegal migrants, who were citizens of Russia, Germany, Tajikistan and Ukraine. All detainees are Temporary Detention Centre of Mostytskyi Border Detachment. The chief of BD commenced a criminal case according to Part 2 of Article 332 of Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine).

Border guards took a trespasser from the barrage fence

22-year-old citizen of Russia was detained by the border guards of BD “Shegeni” of Mostytsyi Detachment. Information was received from local resident about appearance unfamiliar person of Caucasian appearance in the suburb of settlement Mostytska Druga moving towards the border. Detainee had domestic passport of the citizen of Russia and passport for travelling abroad belonging to native of Chechen Republic. As detainee explained, he tried to get to one of the countries of European Union aiming at finding some job.
