Two Armenians traveled to Paris transcending the Carpathian mountains

In the frames of actions realized on counteraction to illegal migration, border guards of Chop Detachment detained two migrants from Caucasian region. Two men of 1957 and 1981 year of birth attempted to get to Slovakia illegally beyond the check point. However, they were detained 400 m before Ukrainian-Slovakia border line by the military men of BS “Uzhgorod”. At the place of detention, unknown persons mentioned that they originated from Armenia and they did not have any identification documents.

During the verification actions border guards established that detained persons arrived to Ukraine by legal way. However, as the very men informed Ukraine was transit for them as their point of destination had to be France.

The violators were delivered to subdivision to identify their personalities, to clarify the circumstances of the infringement and to process administrative and procedural documents. Decision on responsibility and their further destiny will be defined by the court.
