Border guards of Chop Detachment detained 3 illegal migrants originating from Caucasus. In the beginning, the operative group with the service dog detained two men in the area of BS “Guta” , who travelled through the forest in the direction to Slovakia. On border guards’ demand to present their documents, the violators reported that they had no any documents. The “travelers” mentioned that they were the citizens of Georgia and in the search of better life conditions they aimed to get to one of EU countries.

Soon, one more “happiness seeker” was apprehended by the military men of BS “Uzhgorod” not far from the oblast centre. The man without documents also introducing himself as the citizen of Georgia left about a kilometer and a half to reach the cherished border on Slovakia.

The trespassers were delivered to border subdivision for their identification, establishing the circumstances of the infringement and preparing administrative-procedural documents. Decision on responsibility before the law and their further destiny will be defined by the court.
