The residents of the Crimea continue travelling abroad because of persecution fear

During the day, three Crimean families departed to Poland aiming at further getting refugee status. 12 citizens of Ukraine, 6 of them children, and one foreigner crossed Ukrainian-Polish border in the check point “Shegeni”, Lviv oblast. They expressed their wish to get refugee status in Poland.

The parent informed the border guards of Mostytskyi Detachments that because of threatens of revenge and persecution from pro-Rusian citizens, they had to leave own homes and seek asylum in the neighboring country. The majority of travelers resided in Simferopol. Also, together with his family, wife and four children, the father travelled with them, citizen of Egypt residing permanently in Ukraine.

After solving some formalities with Polish colleagues, border guards provided with check in and pass of the citizen seeking asylum.
