Armenian and Syrian travelled to Germany bypass and met in Uzhgorod

Last night, Transcarpathian border guards detained two illegal migrants in the course of realization of special actions on the counteraction to illegal migration.

In the first case, the border guards of BS “Uzhgorod” received information beforehand about the movement of the unfamiliar person towards Ukrainian-Slovakian border.

Then, by forces of the operative group one man was apprehended 150 m before the border. He introduced himself as the citizen of Armenia, however, he had no any documents.

The traveler explained that using the Internet he planned his route to Germany illegally crossing the state border nearby the town of Uzhgorod.

Some hours later, the citizen of Syria was also detained. He was apprehended 500 m before the border line. According to his explanation, it was learned that he wanted to get to Germany in illegal way as well and for making the route from Ukraine to Slovakia he used the Internet service Google maps.

The violators were delivered to subdivision for identification of their personality. Decision on responsibility before the law and their further destiny will be defined by the court.
