Integration of more than 260 thousand immigrants, including Ukrainians will be discussed in Czech Republic

This year, the government is going to focus primarily on improving mastery of the Czech language as a part of the integration of foreigners, as well as widening the employment opportunities of the immigrants and improving their abilities to negotiate with doctors.

25 million krons (909 thousand Euros) will be allocated for these programs, as in comparison with the previous year. On Wednesday, the Cabinet will discuss a draft of up-to-date integration concept and, probably, will make also decision along other projects whether immigrants would be rightful voters in municipal elections.

The question of integration in the Czech Republic directly concerns about 266 thousand persons arrived the countries outside the EU. About 75% of them came to the Czech Republic from Ukraine, Vietnam and Russia.
