Border guards of Chernihiv Detachment established that Russian travelling to Ukraine had no foreign passport of the citizen of Russia in the check point “Novi Yarylovychi” during border control, which made impossible to pass him through the state border of Ukraine.

Instead, 46-year-old man addressed to border detail with application to get refugee status in Ukraine. In the course of the interview he reported to be a blogger and was persecuted in Russia for his active public activity and religious beliefs. After drawing up corresponding documents for making legal decision, the citizen was delivered to Migration service Department in Chernihiv region.
