Upon the order of the President of Ukraine, State Border Service of Ukraine actively develops cooperation with the Police of neighboring countries bordering Ukraine. First of all actions are focused on violations prevention of border legislation. The next result of cooperation was between Ukrainian border guards and foreign collegues during the joint detention of two Georgian citizens. First, the border patrol of BD “Velykyi Bereznyi”, Chop Detachment, found tracks of two unknown persons at the barrage fence nearby the state border. Cooperation was organized immediately with Slovakian border guard. In order to prevent border violations, further verification was carried out by the joint border detail. Soon, in a result of perfomed actions by the Ukrainian and Slovakian border guards in this area two Georgian citizens were detained, who tried to get into the EU.
Currently, further verification actions continue.
