Three illegal immigrants from Afghanistan and Pakistan were detained in Bukovyn

The border guards received information about the possible illegal crossing of the border by foreigners from the operational units of the state border service the day before.

Three illegal migrants intending to cross the Ukrainian-Romanian border at night were detained by the border guards of Chernivtsi Detachment.

The border guards received information about the possible illegal crossing of the border by foreigners from the operational units of the state border service the day before. Additional detail started to the place and immeditedly found the violators. The night travelers at a sufficiently low temperature and snow-covered terrain were traveling in athletic shoes, the soldiers of the Detachment stopped a hundred meters from the state border. The detainees did not have any documents. According to their words it became known that they were the citizens of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

So far, the foreigners are in the Temporary Detention Centre of Chernivtsi border detachment. They are subject to further verification measures, as well as the circle of persons who may be involved in the smuggling of illegal migrants across the state border.
