The staff of State Border Guard Service and National Police prevented one more attempt of organized transportation of illegal migrants to Poland. In the frames of criminal proceeding as to Part 2 Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine “Illegal transportation through the state border of Ukraine” the border guards received information about possible break of the state border of Ukraine. the border guards reinforced the guard in the direction of Ukrainian-Polish border and arranged additional border detail on the way to probable movement of illegal migrants. At about midnight border detail of BS “Shegeni”, Mostytskyi Detachment, apprehended two unfamiliar persons. Detainees were a man and woman without documents, according to their words of 40 and 17 years old, both were citizens of Vietnam.
Besides, in the course of further operative actions in Lviv the staff of Border Operative Searching Department and Department for Organized Crime Control associated with human trafficking in Lviv region detained the organizer of their unlawful transportation over the border. Currently, investigation is performed regarding the members of this infringement. Documents on administrative infringement were prepared as to the citizen of Vietnam in accordance with Part 2 Article 204-1 of Administrative Infringements Code of Ukraine “Illegal cross or attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine in illegal way”. The court will make a decision as to the violators.
