Iranian by Bulgarian passport intended to get to Frankfurt

In the airport “Boryspil” border guards of Separate check point “Kyiv” detected the next violator. The passenger arriving from Istanbul showed his forged passport of the citizen of Bulgaria. However, the officers detected the forgery immediately. Soon, the man informed that in reality he was Iranian and he planned to use the forged document to get to Frankfurt aiming at improving his living conditions. So far, the traveler is returned by a return flight to the country of departure.

It is worth to mention than since the beginning of the year the border guards detected 14 persons trying to cross the border with forged and someone’s documents.

In 2013 – almost 100 million persons were registered in the check points, the half of which were the foreigners

In the course of the last years, permanent growth of passenger and transport flows is considered at the state border of Ukraine. For instance, in 2004 the fixed index of passenger flow comprised 67 million persons, in 2008 – 89 million. Yet, during the year 2013 almost 100 million persons (99,31 million) were registered in the check points and more than 21 million transport means, which is 7% and 4% more in comparison with the previous year. At the same time 47,5 million citizens were Ukrainians, and almost 52 million – foreigners. While travelling the majority of Ukrainians crossed Ukrainian-Polish border (30% out of total number) and Ukrainian-Russian border (25%), 15% made their way via aviation check points. Out of total number of the foreigners, more than the third (37%) crossed the border from Russia, Moldova (21%), Belarus (16%) and 10% were traveling by planes.

Fifteen-year-old girl was found in the bus to Slovakia

Border guards of Chop Detachment detected a passenger in Transcarpathia, who was hiding in the regular bus traveling to Slovakia. She was noticed inside the bus behind the back seat during the border control in the check point “Uzhgorod”.

The girl had no any documents. She informed that she was 15 years old and wanted to go abroad with the aim to look for better living conditions. She also told that she got on the bus at the bus station of Uzhgorod. The law enforcement agents failed to contact the relatives residing in Rakhiv region, thus, the girl was handed to the orphanage in the village Batyove, Beregovo region, Transcarpathian region.

Now, MOI, Public Prosecutor’s Office and Children Service of Transcarpathian Oblast State Administration are informed about detained girl.

Georgian was not admitted to the countries of European Union

In the course of verification actions the border guards of Chop Detachment detained the next “happiness seeker” making his way to EU countries.

The man of Caucasian appearance was stopped by the military men of BS “Uzhgorod” some meters before the border on Slovakia. On border guards’ demand to show the identification documents for the check, the unfamiliar person reported that he was the citizen of Georgia and had no any documents. He also confessed in his intention to get to one of the countries of European Union in order to improve his living conditions. So far, the violator is waiting for the court decision on responsibility.

During the day border guards did not allowed 60 persons to cross the border

The officers of State Border Service did not allow 61 persons to enter Ukraine. The majority of the travelers could not confirm their goal of the trip to Ukraine, either they had invalid documents or they did not have any permission documents to enter the country.

Thus, 17 travelers tried to present untruthful information during the border registration. They were detected mainly at the border on Russia, Moldova and in the airport “Boryspil”. Two more citizens of Turkey and Syria were not allowed to cross the border by the border guards of Simferopol Detachment. It was established that the men did not have any means to stay on the territory of Ukraine. The border guards of Separate Check point “Kyiv” did not let pass two citizens of India and Austria – they did not have visa to Ukraine.

Border guards apprehended Georgian and Moldavian in Bukovyn

Border guards of Chernivtsi Detachment detained two trespassers. Thus, according to the information received from the local residents border detail of BS “Gertsa” detected one unknown person moving towards Ukrainian-Romanian border. The reaction group detained the travelers some hundred meters before the state border. The detainee was 29-year-old resident of Sukhumi, Chechnya. The man explained that he travelled to EU countries aiming at further employment.

The other traveler was detained by the border guards of the same detachment in the area of BS “Pdviriivka”. No explanations the man could give to the border guards, as he was in the state of strong alcohol intoxication. Soon, yet he reported that he was the citizen of Moldova.

Detainees will have to bear administrative responsibility for the present infringements.

Four citizens of Chechnya intended to cross the border twice

Four citizens of Russia, residents of Chechnya, were stopped by the border guards of Donetsk Detachment. In the check point “Uspenka”, at the entrance to Ukraine, they arrived almost at midnight by car “Toyota”. While their documents were verified, the inhabitants of the city Groznyy reported that they were going to Melitopol, however, they could not prove the goal of their trip. As soon it was established, almost at 8 p.m. they tried to cross the border in the check point “Novoazovsk”. Then, the men explained that they made their way to Saky, and again could not provide with the goal of their trip to Ukraine.

In the course of the interview, the citizens of 27, 30, 33 and 38 years old could not tell why they mentioned two different points of destination in the check points “Uspenka” and “Novoasovsk”. That it is why decision was made to reject the citizens of Russia in crossing the state border. So far, they are returned to Russia.

Two Hungarians and Turk failed to pass around the border thermal imager and local residents

Two citizens of Ukraine were detained in Transcarpathia by the border guards of Chop Detachment some tens meters before the border. The trespassers were detected with the help of technical devices of border security. In the course of border monitoring of Ukrainian-Hungarian line, border guards of BS “Salovka” noticed two persons in the lens of thermal imager. Already in some minutes, law enforcement agents detained unfamiliar men. They explained that they were the citizens of Hungary; however, none of them had any documents.

The travelers were delivered to the subdivision aiming at circumstances verification and processing administrative and procedural documents. Decision on responsibility before the law and further destiny of the detainees will be defined by the court.

Border guards of Lviv Detachment detected the citizen of Turkey nearby the Ukrainian-Polish border. Local resident informed border guards of BS “Grushiv” about appearance of unknown person at the border. The migrant travelled towards Ukrainian-Polish border by taxi. But, border detail caught up the car for check. Soon, it was established that there was a routed trip to Poland in the mobile phone with the help of the navigator. The passenger did not deny his intention to get to one of EU countries. His further destiny will be also defined by the court.

Citizens of Bangladesh and Algeria travelled through the border without documents avoiding the check point

The citizen of Bangladesh was detained nearby the border on Belarus. The traveler was noticed nearby the village Skytok by the border inspector of BS “Dobryanka” of Chernihiv Detachment. The man without document was 35-year-old native of Bangladesh bypassing the check point. Checking the surrounding territory, the border detail detected the tracks leading towards the border on Belarus. Belarus border guards were informed about the present infringement. So far, the personality is established and all circumstances of the infringement are verified.

One more trespasser was detected by the border guards of Chop Detachment in Transcarpathia. The man was noticed by the border guards of BS “Uzhgorod” from the observation tower. Soon, law enforcement agents caught him 100 m before the border. He also did not have any documents and reported to be Algerian.

Now, the detainee is delivered to Border Service Department in order administrative and procedural documents to be processed.

Smuggler is sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment

The sentence of Uzhgorod Municipal Regional Court gained its legal validity concerning the citizen of Ukraine, who organized the illegal cross of the citizen of Russian Federation of the state border in 2007 during which her three children died.

For a long time the violator absconded from the inquest. In 2011, SSU officers detained this citizen of Ukraine.

In 2007, the family of Dzhamaldin intended to depart to European Union. As the native of Caucasus could not get legally abroad, so they decided to do it in illegal way. In September of the same year, the family arrived to Transcarpathia.

Already former border guard agreed to organize illegal cross of Ukrainian-Slovakian state border for the woman and her four children for the sum of $2700.

On agreed day the malefactors took the woman, her three daughters and a son from temporary building to the border and had to smuggle illegal migrants to the nearest Slovakian populated area. But the guides brought the woman to the village of Zhornava, Velykyi Bereznyi region, pointed her way through the mountainous wooden locality as if there was Slovakia, and left Kamisa with children to the mercy of fate.

For some days she had been wondering in the wood, where her daughter (6, 10 and 12 years old) died of exposure. In the end, the woman and her three-year-old son got to PolishRepublic.

When organizer learned about the tragedy – he recovered money to Kasima’s husband and fled.

Uzhgorod Municipal Regional Court qualified his action according to Part 2 Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine as “organization of illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine, guide for such actions on preliminary agreement by the group of persons” and sentenced the former border guard to 3 years’ imprisonment.

His malefactors were condemned before on different terms of imprisonment.
