Russian man had three documents issued to three different persons

Border guards of Simferopol Detachment apprehended a violator with forged passport and driving licenses. The man was walking through the check point “Crimea” and presented his passport of the citizen of Ukraine. However, border detail of BS “Kerch” examining thoroughly the document, noticed the signs of its partial falsification. Thus, a decision was made to check “the traveler” in depth. During the inspection of the stuff, border-custom inspection group found forged Ukrainian driving licenses and passport of the citizen of Russian Federation. As it was established soon, the Russian passport was valid. All other documents were issued to different surnames, but with the same photos. For attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine illegally detainee is brought to responsibility in administrative order. He will also have to provide explanations to MOI staff as to usage of forged documents. Now, the complicity in other possible unlawful actions is ascertained.

Navigator did not help student from Syria to get from Transcarpathia to EU secretly

Border guards of BS “Velykyi Bereznyi” of Chop Detachment detained the citizen of Syria.

Unfamiliar person was detected with the help of mobile thermal device some meters before the state border. As it was established, detained man did not have documents, and during the interview he mentioned his place of birth as Damask. The young man also explained that he had arrived to Ukraine already in 2010 for studies to one of universities of Odessa. In consequence of means lack, he stopped studying and started to work. Besides, 28-year-old Syrian told that he arrived by taxi to the border area, and he wanted to cross the border orienting upon the navigation program in the mobile phone. However, he did not succeed to get over the mountains and woods, because border detail apprehended the violator.

Border guards of Hungary and Transcarpathia will patrol the border jointly

In Budapest, the chairman of State Border Service of Ukraine, Nikolay Litvin met with the deputy chief of Hungarian Police, the chief of law enforcement Directorate, Zholt Halmosh.  In the course of the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of cooperation and coordination of joint efforts to ensure the security at the border. Agreements were reached to carry out patrolling of the common border by the representatives of State Border Service of Ukraine and Hungarian Police. Also, the chiefs of border departments had a talk about cooperation in people and transport’s passing through both sides of the border. Hungarian nationalists have their own demands as to Association of Ukraine with EU.

Migrant from Syria intended to get to Lviv twice

In the course of some days border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment detained the violator of the border two times, who tried to get to Ukraine. Migrant from Syria, having documents of stateless person of the Netherlands, was detained in the “green” area of the border by the border guards of BS “Krakivets” in Lviv oblast. Soon, it was established that before he had already tried to get to Ukraine beyond the check point “Krakivets”. However, he did not have any corresponding documents for this. The foreigner explained that he wished so much to get the city of Lviv. According to the court’s decision he was called to administrative responsibility for the committed infringement in the form of 10 days arrest. After service of sentence by the detainee, he will be handed to Polish border guards in the order of readmission.

Google maps took Georgians to Transcarpathian border guards

In the frames of realization of special actions on counteraction to illegal migration, border guards of Chop Detachment detained the next happiness seekers, who intended to get to EU.

Two men were walking along the border of Transcarpathia in the direction to Slovakia. The border guards of BS “Uzhgorod” detected them long before. When unfamiliar persons came closer to the state border in the distance of about 500 m, border detail conducted the detention. The detainees introduced themselves as citizens of Georgia, but they could not confirm this by absence of the documents. They also reported that they made their way to Slovakia, from where they planned to get to Great Britain. By the way, on men’s confession they planned their route through Ukrainian-Slovakian border with the help of Internet Service Google maps.

The trespassers were delivered to subdivision aiming at clarification of the circumstances of the infringement and processing administrative and procedural documents. Decision on responsibility before the law and further destiny of the detainees will be defined by the court.

Two Pseudo Turks were detected in the airport of Lviv

Border guards of Lviv Detachment detected two men with forged documents at the international airport “Lviv”. The violators were detected among the passengers arrived from Istanbul. Passports for travelling abroad of the citizens of Turkey, presented by the travelers during the control, became immediately suspicious for the border detail as well as the behavior of the men was rather nervous. After conducting a very detail studying of the documents and interviewing the bearers of the documents, law enforcement agents learned that the passports of the citizens of Turkey contained signs of partial forgery. The very detainees confessed that in reality they were the citizens of Syria.

Transcarpathian humane court sentenced smugglers to three years of imprisonment conditionally

Five members of criminal group were condemned, who tried to smuggle illegal migrants through the state border of Ukraine.

Sentence of Uzhgorod Municipal Regional Court came into force concerning the organized criminal grouping that transported illegally migrants to neighboring country. The grouping was composed of five local residents, including former police man, headed by 35-year-old unemployed man, who agreed to organize illegal transportation through Ukrainian-Slovakian border the migrants from the countries of Ethiopia and Somalia for $ 8000. The organizer attracted his brother to smuggling activity, who was sentenced before for analogous crime, and three more malefactors as well as former police man. The obligations of the members of the criminal grouping were strictly defined – time and place to meet the illegal migrants, elaboration of so-called rotes of secret transportation, accompaniment and direct transportation of the migrants beyond the check point.

On May 5, 2013 the members of the criminal grouping met four illegal migrants in the suburb of the village Orekhovytsya, Uzhgorod region and planned to deliver them directly to the border area, where the smuggler waited for them to transport to Slovakia. In the evening of the same day, on the territory of Perechyn and V.Bereznyi regions SSU officers detained two cars at the same time, where there were 4 illegal migrants without any any documents and 5 local residents. The malefactors transported the migrants in the car boot.

Uzhgorod Municipal Regional Court returned guilty five citizens of Ukraine in accordance with Part 3 Article 331 (organization of illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine, committed as to several persons by organized group for mercenary ends) of Crime Code of Ukraine and defined punishment in the form of imprisonment for 3 years with probation period of 3 years to each.

The man intended to cross the state border with passport of his 2-year-old son

The citizen of Moldova, DOB 1968, attempting to cross the state border with the passport of his 20-year-old son, was detected at the check point “Kuchurgan”, Odesa oblast by the border guards of Belgorod-Dnistrovskyi, who stopped the man during the check of the documents. Travelling by car to Ukraine, the man presented the passport of the citizen of Russia. However, the law enforcement agents detected immediately the differences in the document. As the man explained, he just took the passport document belonging to his son by mistake.

Soon, border guards of the same detachment stopped two more citizens of Moldova without documents permitting them to cross the state border. The husband with wife made their way to their country of origin having just passports of former USSR.

Documents of administrative processing were worked up concerning the detained citizens and were handed to Moldavian side.

Detained illegal migrants from Afghanistan detained in Chernihiv oblast were passed to Russian Federation

The process of readmission of the group of illegal migrants was completed in Chernihiv oblast, namely of 24 citizens of Afghanistan recently apprehended in the course of joint actions of Chernihiv Detachment and SSU officers in the area of BS “Girsk”.

Reminding, violators – 18 men, 2 women and 4 children – were detected and detained in the suburb of the village Makhovyky, Krjukiv region. All detained migrants stayed for a durable time on the territory of Russian Federation, from where they intended to get to Ukraine. After establishing the circumstances of the infringement and clarification of constituent data, a process of readmission was commenced against each detainee.

The representatives of Border Service of Russia, studying presented undoubted evidences for consideration on staying by the group of detainees at Russian territory in the frames of Agreement between the government of Russian Federation and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “About readmission”, accepted all detained citizens of Afghanistan.

The first Refugee Certificate is issued to Syrian in Transcarpathia this year

On October 21, a solemn handing in of Refugee Certificate to the citizen of Syria was hold in the Head Department of State Migration Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.

On order implementation of the direction of SMS of Ukraine, the native of Syria was issued the document. He worked as an architect in his country of origin.

The chief of Migration Service of Transcarpathia Igor Mykhailyshyn wished Hamdan Koleb to find his worthy place in Ukraine, the country that gave him refuge. It is the first refugee certificate issued this year by Migration Service in Transcarpathia.

As Zaholovok.com.ua reports, since the beginning of the year Chop border guards caught 20 illegal migrants – Syrians. For “trip” from war seized Syria one of them paid $12 thousand to the EU.
