Moldavian tried to bribe border guards two times

The car driven by the citizen of Moldova arrived to stationary check point BS “Dilove”. Two citizens of Georgia were travelling together with the citizen of the neighboring country. During the check of the documents the driver proposed to senior of border detail of Mukachevo Detachment a bribe in the sum of $50 in order to avoid the check of the documents. After that all three persons were invited to Border Service Department for processing protocols as to the present infringement. However, in the course of the interview Moldavian proposed again, for the second time, the bribe in the sum of 700 UAH already aiming at avoiding administrative responsibility. Soon, it was established that the citizens of Georgia excelled the stay term in Ukraine. Administrative and procedural documents were drawn up as to mentioned citizens. Rakhiv regional department of State Migration Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region was informed about the fact of detection as well Public Prosecutors’ Office received notification on that point.

Transcarpathian SSU made an ambush for three Syrians and their guide

Border guards of Mukachevo Detachment and Transcarpathian SSU officers apprehended a group of illegal migrants and their accomplice in the area of BS “Luzhanka”.

Having received preliminary information, beforehand border guards put additional border details at the places of possible cross of the border. Soon, the district inspector noticed three unfamiliar persons. Border detail caught up and detained the travelers. Detainees, two women and a man were from Syria.

Consequently, in the same direction the border guards apprehended unknown person hiding in the grass. While law enforcement agents coming closer, the man tried to run away. A warning shoot from device for shooting by rubber bullet was done up for his apprehension.

Also, the officers of SBS and SSU arrested the car driven by the citizen of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, Ukrainian citizen realized delivery of this group of illegal migrants from Syria to the state border by this transport. All details of the infringement are under investigation.

Passenger from Croatia travelled to Ukraine with forged passport

In the morning border guards of Lviv Detachment detected the violator with forged document while he was entering Ukraine. The man made his way to the country as a passenger together with Ukrainian citizen driving the car “Mercedes”. However, the border detail that had been checking the documents at the check point “Ustylug”, noticed that the passport of the citizen of Croatia was forged. The informational page with constituent data was changed by means of its re-stitch. Now, the citizen of Croatia is handed to the representatives of Border Service of Republic of Poland according to Readmission Agreement, which confirmed the forgery of that document.

Georgians arrived to see Transcarpathian and police throw them out neck and crop

Irshava Regional Police Department received report from local police agent. He informed that in the course of operation realization “November” two persons of Caucasian appearance were noticed in the yard of the private house in the village Pryborzhavske. During the data check, persons introduced themselves as the citizens of Georgia. They did not present any documents identifying their personalities. While giving explanations they mentioned that they arrived to Ukraine by plane via the airport “Zhulyany” in Kyiv in 2012. On 11 November, 2013 they came to Transcarpathia to see the resident of the village of Pryborzhavske, with whom they became acquainted in Kyiv. The citizens of Ukraine were handed to workers of SMS for deportation from the territory of Ukraine.

Three citizens of Sudan and eight Georgian travelled to Slovakia

Three migrants from Africa and eight from Caucasus were apprehended by the border guards of Chop Detachment for illegal attempt to cross Ukrainian-Slovakian border. The violators intending to cross the state border in the area of BS “Stuzhytsya” were detected in the course of search actions due to information received by the border department in time. Detainees – two women and a man – introduced themselves as the citizens of Sudan, however they could not prove by documents. Other brave persons getting through the mountains were detained by the border guards of BS “Velykyi Bereznyi”. At first, 2 citizens of Georgia lost their dreams about reaching EU countries, soon 4 more their country fellows made them a company. None of them had any documents identifying their personality. Two more Georgians travelling through the Carpathians were stopped by the border guards of BS “Guta” a kilometer before Ukrainian-Slovakia border.

All trespassers, totally 11, were delivered to border subdivisions for clarification of the circumstances of the infringement and processing administrative and procedural documents. Decision on responsibility before the law and their future destiny will be made by the court.

Implementation of project READMIT is under discussion

On November 8, a meeting was hold with the expert of migration management Rahel Dosen in the frames of the project of International Centre of Migration Policy Development “EU Aid evaluation in the frames of general migration policy of EU as to Ukraine. Evaluation of initiative of READMIT in the context of implementation of Readmission Agreement Ukraine – EU”. In the course of the meeting discussions were conducted on the issues of project implementation   READMIT as well the possibilities of visiting the TACs constructed in the frames of the project READMIT.

SMS of Ukraine was presented by the first head deputy Kravets M.M., the head of Military-Navy Forces Shpak D.R. and the head of Department on Work Organization of TACs for keeping refugees and other categories of migrants, Rybalko I.A.

Discussions were hold on the bill as to improvement of regulations of court protection of the foreigners and stateless persons

On November 7, the working meeting took place, the goal of which was discussion of the Bill of Law on introduction of changes to some legislation deeds of Ukraine (concerning the improvement of the regulations of the court protection of the foreigners and stateless persons). The meeting was organized by Regional representation of UNHCR in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine at the participation of the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine, Administration of State Border Service of Ukraine, and Committee of Supreme Council of Ukraine on issues of rule of law and justice. In the course of the meeting the specified bill was discussed as well as the proposals to its improvement. It was decided that Committee of SCU on issues of rule of law and justice will prepare the final reduction of the bill taking into account comments and considerations expressed during the debates.

Hungarian Police detained Transcarpathian with 7 illegal migrants from Afghanistan

Police apprehended 7 Afghan citizens that illegally entered the territory of Hungary from Ukraine as well as one Ukrainian, 19-year-old guy, who assisted them to cross Ukrainian-Hungarian border from Transcarpathia.

It was reported by the site police.hu.

Police Migration Department of Sabolc – Satmar – Beregovo oblast of Hungary commenced a criminal case on suspicion in the crime committed by 19-year-old Transcarpathian resident.

According to the existing data, the young man from Transcarpathia helped seven Afghani citizens enter illegally the territory of Hungary. They were travelling on foot and already in Zahon they were taken by Transcarpathian by his car. Police patrol detained the whole group during the inspection of the car. The guy was arrested for smuggling people, which he was suspected at. Migration Service and border guards examine Afghans, and the criminal case is commenced against the smuggler. Investigation goes on.

Illegal migration is again within hearing in Transcarpathia

Law enforcement agents and Border Service in Uzhgorod are going to coordinate joint actions concerning the retention of integrity of Ukrainian borders. The specialists assure that autumn is one of the hottest seasons for the border guards. Namely, in autumn all illegal migrants strive for getting to the countries of European Union before cold weather comes. The significant number of illegal migrants intends to cross Ukrainian-Slovakian border.

Negotiations were conducted as to signing-off Readmission Agreement with Republic of Serbia

On 5-7 November, negotiations were conducted with the experts of MOI of Republic of Serbia in Kyiv aiming at clearing the texts of the project of Readmission Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers and the government of the Republic of Serbia and Implementation Protocol to it.

Opening address to the negotiators was introduced by the First Deputy Head of SMS of Ukraine, Viktor Sheibut LCA.

Ukraine’s delegation including the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior and State Border Service, was headed by the deputy director of Refugee and Foreigner’s Department of SMS of Ukraine Mykola Kravets.

The delegation of MOI of Republic of Serbia was headed by the chief of Department of Administration Affairs. Zoritsa Lonchar-Kasalitsa.
