FMS prepares network of camps for migrants along the whole Russia

The number of migrants delivered to the camp in the east of Moscow reached 612 persons and on Monday the number can be increased, it is informed by the service capital central authority of MIO. At the same time, Federal Migration Service solves the problem on creation of the network of special establishments for imprisonment of illegal migrants along the whole country. 

Press service of FMS of BBC Russian Service has declared that information about creation of 83 camps published by the newspaper “Komersant” does not quite correspond to reality, however this question is really under discussion. The representatives of the department still reject to give any detailed explanations.

Camp “prison” town was constructed on August 2, the next day after the capital police detected several underground sewing workshops, where about 1,5 thousand migrant laborers worked, namely the citizens of Vietnam.

The camp is intended for 900 persons, there are field kitchens and toilet cabins on its territory as well as equipping for fingerprint analysis. As FMS reports, migrants will start to leave gradually leave after court decisions on deportation.

Complaints on buckwheat

Embassy of Vietnam in Russia has already expressed concern as to the conditions of forced holding of migrants in the camp. “There are 40 persons in the room of 50 m2 there. These are not very good conditions”, – representative of the embassy reported to BBC.

Vladimir Lukin, ombudsman in Russia, visiting the camp also was dissatisfied by the area allotted per person and position of toilets. The head of the fund “Civil Assistance” Svetlana Gannushkina marked in the conversation with “Komersant” that the camp had not any legal status yet that would allow to hold migrants there during temporary isolation.

The members of President Council on human rights visiting the camp together with Lukin, also were unsatisfied with the holding conditions of the migrants and intend to visit it again on Monday.

The very detainees expressed their dissatisfaction as to meals given them at the field kitchens. According to the words of deputy chairman of Social Council of Capital Central Authority of MOI Anton Tsvetkov, Vietnamese asked to change buckwheat to more habitual for them rice.

Besides, as it is reported by the newspaper “Komsomolska Pravda”, the residents of the camp complain on absence of sockets as they have no place to charge their mobile phones as well as it forbidden to smoke on the territory of the camp.

Slave work of Vietnamese

Vietnamese migrants told to journalists arrived to the camp that they had to work in the workshops for 14 hours a day without days off and for all that they did not get any salary, however they were proposed to pay $ 300-400 per month.

In the course of Police and FMS checks, the workers of the workshops had to hide because their chiefs bribed inspectors and then those went without any claims.

On Monday, the press service of MOI informed about the detection of the group of Vietnamese in Moscow area, which was engaged in organization of illegal migration of their country fellows to Russia.  According department’s information, the members of the grouping organized illegal workshop on clothes sewing in the premise of livestock complex in Lenin region, Moscow oblast.

Supposedly, they took away passports of the workers and then forced them to work under a strict ban to leave the territory of the workshop. Police apprehended 52 citizens of Vietnam without documents as well as supposed organizers of illegal migration.

About a year ago, BBC reported about analogous situation with Vietnamese workers at one of the sewing factories in Moscow area. The workers of the factory “Vinashtar”, the owners of which were also from Vietnam, complained that they were forced to work for 18 hours per day, seven days a week. They also made complaints on bad meals, regular beatings and ban on leaving the territory of the factory.

Immigrants strive fro Czech Republic

CzechRepublic as a single country of “new Europe” that attracts interest of immigrants. According to data of European Statistic Bureau, about 423 foreigners have arrived to Czech Republic that now comprise 4% of Czech population. Eviction of own population is significant for other countries of “new Europe” (i.e. new members of European Union) as well as rather small interest of the migrants to these countries.

Scale emigration was fixed to Romania, Lithuania or Poland. However, CzechRepublic provokes interest of EU residents and those of so-called third countries. CzechRepublic is chosen as the country for permanent residence by 151 Europeans, the majority of which are Slovakians, Germans and Austrians. In reality, this number s much more bigger as Europeans are not obliged to be registered. 272 000 persons from “third countries” visited CzechRepublic. Czech authority lately breaks the growth in the number of migrants from “third countries” by its severe approach to opening of new long-termed visas.

CzechRepublic is in the top five of the best countries in European Union as to the level of unemployment. Nowadays, the level of unemployment comprises 7,3%. In European comparison, CzechRepublic gets into the top five of the countries with the lowest indexes of unemployment. The least number of the men out of occupation are in the countries as Austria, Germany, Luxembourg and Malta. The average European index comprises 10,9%. The things are worse in Greece and Spain. In general, however, the economic result of CzechRepublic is not so brilliant, GDP of the country falls and the country is in slow recession.

Six citizens of Georgia and Pseudo-Frenchman were apprehended in Transcarpathia

The violators moving in the direction of the state border were caught up by the border guards of BS “Guta” of Chop Detachment in the evening. Four unknown persons were noticed at the border by district inspector. The service dog helped the border detail to find the tracks of the trespassers. The men reported that they were the citizens of Georgia.

Almost two hours later border guards detained two more travellers from Georgia in the same direction. Observant local resident informed about the appearance of the strangers in border area.

One more violator trying to cross the border with violations was detected by the border guards of the same detachment at railway check point “Chop”. The passenger of the train “Moscow-Budapest” gave for the control the passport of the citizen of France. Law enforcement agents established that the document was valid but it did not belong to the bearer. Also, the passport document contained forged marks about the cross of the state border of Ukraine. Now, the checking measures are undertaken as to the detainees.

Africans cannot understand nowise that Transcarpathia is not staging post for them

The border guards of SBSU in Transcarpathia apprehended illegal migrants. The travellers were stopped in the area of BS “Stuzhytsya” of Chop Detachment. The trespassers almost reaching the border had no any documents. As it was established soon, two of them were the citizens of Eritrea, two more – citizens of Sudan and Cote d’Ivoire. Also in the course of infringement circumstances ascertainment, border guards learned that the citizen of Cote d’Ivoire and one of Eritreans had already been detained for the attempt to get to the countries of European Union, and the first of them was caught twice – in March and July. Each of illegal migrants paid about $4000 for their trip. However, persons assisting them, did not keep their promises to deliver the travellers to Slovakia.

According to the words of the detainees, they were 16 to 29 years old, they were dropped off somewhere in the suburb of the road and ordered to wait. But, nobody came in some hours and they decided to move further themselves. They were wandering rather long period and border guards apprehended them near the border.

Some migrants were detained by the border guards of Chop Detachment – they were stopped in the area of BS “Knyagynya” at night 500 meters before the border line. They were the citizens of Syria without any documents.

Azerbaijanian and Uzbek failed to cross the border by car with forged documents

Two cars with invalid power of attorney on right to drive were detected by the workers of check point “Bachivsk” in Summy oblast.

The cars arrived to the check point at the entrance to Ukraine with difference in some hours. During the check of the drivers’ documents, the citizens of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the law enforcement agents established that both cars of Lithuanian registration moved through the border with forged documents.

The cars are confiscated in a lawful order and passed to customs workers. Procedural documents are processed as to the violators.

Forged certificates on permanent residence in Ukraine were confiscated from Uzbek and two Palestinians

Border guards of separate check point “Kyiv” detected three forged certificates on permanent residence in Ukraine belonging to the citizen of Uzbekistan and two stateless persons of Palestine during the check in of the passengers arriving from Istanbul and Dubai at the airport “Boryspil”. The owners of the forgeries intended to be legalized in the country in unlawful way, however, the men were returned by a return flight to the country of departure.

Tourists from Syria and Georgia looked for their “window to Europe” in Transcarpathia

Three trespassers were apprehended by the border guards of BS “Guta” of Chop Detachment during two days at the border in Transcarpathian oblast.

Two of them were stopped in the suburb of the village Kamyanytsya, Uzhgorod region. The men had no any documents, but reported about Syria as their country of origin. They travelled to EU countries aiming at employment.

One more violator was detained due to information received from local residents telling about appearance of unknown person at the town of Perechyn, which is nearby the border. The man, the citizen of Georgia having also no any documents, told that he attempted to get to Slovakia in the search of better life conditions

Border guards apprehended travellers from Eritrea, Somalia and India

Receiving information about the movement of unfamiliar persons towards the state border line, border guards of BS “Velykyi Bereznyi” of Chop Detachment started immediately to look for possible trespassers. In the course of the search actions, three persons without documents were detected and detained 100 m before the border on Slovakia. The travellers told that they were the citizens of Eritrea and Somalia. Two more illegal migrants were apprehended by the border guards of the same detachment of BS “Knyagynya”. According to the words of the men, migrants from Uzbekistan intended to get over the border beyond the check point.

Besides, border guards detained the citizens of Ukraine and India in Luhansk oblast. The violators were stopped 5 m before the border between Russian village Chertkovo and Ukrainian one Milove just they had crossed the border from Russia to Ukraine. Notification is sent to USSU in Luhansk oblast concerning the citizen of Ukraine that accompanied the citizen of India.

Czech Republic wants to get rid of undesirable refugees once and for all

CzechRepublic plans to reform migration legislation. After the reform, Czech Special Services will get right of veto concerning permanent or temporary residence of foreigner, receiving reject refugee will not be able to go to the law. Attitude of Czech government to the foreigners is regulated by three deeds, namely – law on free movement of EU citizens, law about security of state borders and law regulating the stay of the foreigners on the territory of Czech Republic.

The other day, border guards of separate check point “Kyiv” apprehended a passenger in the airport Boryspil who arrived from Moscow. The man gave the passport of the citizen of France for control passing. However, the border guards established that the document did not belong to its bearer, as his appearance was different from the owner’s passport on the photo – the man had another form of the eyebrows and height of the forehead, etc. Soon, the traveler himself explained that he was the citizen of Congo. He took his friend’s passport for the period of the trip. The man is returned by a return flight to the country of departure.
