4 Uzbeks crossed Russian border

The detail of BS “Seredyna Buda” apprehended 4 illegal migrants. The suspected persons making their way along the railway truck moved from Russian village Gorozhanka to Ukrainina one “Shalimovka. They were noticed by local inhabitants who informed about it the lawmen. Two men and two women of the age 20-30 years old were the citizens of Uzbekistan. Some days before they indented to cross the border by train “Moscow-Znamyanka”, and because of discrepancy of their trip goal the potential illegal migrants were rejected in entering the territory of Ukraine. After this the Uzbeks decided to cross the border behind the check point. At the present moment documents on administrative infringement were drawn up as to detainees. The measure of their responsibility will be decided by the court.

Illegal migrants from Palestine got lost in Transcarpathian forest

In the morning detail of BS “Knyagynya” detained 2 young men 1 km before the Slovakian border. The trespassers did not have any documents. They named themselves 18- and 19-year-old citizens of Palestine who being in the search of better life wanted to reach Germany. According to the words of detainees, they were roving during the whole night in the forests of Transcarpathia due to their guide. The last one taking money from the foreigners in the sum of $1600 showed the direction of their way and then disappeared. Illegal migrants are now delivered to border subdivision. The detainees and possible organizers of the channel of illegal migration are now identified.

Illegal migrants from Moldova were stopped by the warning shots

The citizens of Moldova trying to cross Slovakian border were detained by the officers of SBS in Transcarpathian region. To stop the migrants the lawmen had to start fire.

At about 4 a.m. the silhouettes of two persons appeared on the screen of heat resistant set who were stealthily moving to the side of the state border. A group of deployment forces of BS “Palad Komarivtsi” was sent following the trespassers. Hearing the pursuers the travelers tried to run away and did not react on the order to stop. They were apprehended 350 m before the line of the border with the help of warning shots.

These illegal migrants were 17- and 29-year-old citizens of Moldova who aimed at search of better life in the countries of European Union. They reported that they were travelling without outside assistance, and they tried to avoid the meeting with the officers , they were making their way very carefully hiding in the bushes by hours and waiting for the opportune moment.

A centre for keeping illegal migrants was opened in Odessa

Grand opening of special premise for illegal migrants took place in Odessa Border Detachment. It is one of five centers constructed in the frames of the project financed by EU with total cost of € 260 thousand. This project also foresees the training of the specialists of State Border Service in European methods of fight against migrants.

Illegal migrants will be kept in a new-built centre during 10 days. Special attention is paid to safety of detainees, their access to legal information, services on translation and communication with non-governmental organizations, opportunities to get medical aid, meals and hygiene. Necessary conditions are also provided in special premises for work of the border guards on identification of the migrants and work with their different categories (children with no accompaniment, women, victims of people’s trade, etc).

All special premises for illegal migrants are built from mobile modules and in case of change of migration flows so the premises can be quickly relocated to another place.

Potential illegal migrants, Egyptian and Russian, were detained in Uzhgorod

A Russian man who persistently aimed at illegal cross from Ukraine to the countries of European Union was detained in the evening by the officers of SBS at the railway station of Uzhgorod. Two weeks before this case the foreigner was stopped by the detail of department “Velykyi Bereznyi” of CBD during his attempt to trespass the border of Slovakia. The detainee had to return to his country of origin in a voluntary order, however, he decided to try to get to EU once again.

One more foreigner who neglected the rules on stay in the state was apprehended by the border guards at the bus station of Uzhgorod. The most probably, the citizen of Egypt with student card of Kharkiv Veterinary Academy came to border controlled district of Transcarpathian region on the same purpose as Russian man.

At the present moment the circumstances of violation are clearing out. The measure of the foreigners’ responsibility will be determined by the court.

Border dog helped search the illegal migrants escaping to the forest

Three illegal migrants were detained by the officers of Lviv Detachment of SBS. The violators tried to flee and hide from the lawmen. The detail of department of Border Service “Grushiv” detected three suspected men some kilometers before the border on Poland who were going along the road of the village Nemyriv. Seeing people in uniform, the travelers rushed in different sides and tried to hide in the forest. The neighboring details were oriented on their search. Two runaways were caught by the lawmen during the pursuit. The last one was the quickest and had time to disguise himself well. A service dog Leis helped find him in thick bushes. The detainees were delivered to border subdivision. They did not have any documents. The violators were the citizens of Moldova of the age 20-23 years old. They confessed in their intentions to cross the border of Poland.

A citizen from Uzbekistan was detained in Odessa airport with forged Kirghiz passport

A women arriving from Istanbul to Ukraine tried to cross the border with forged documents was detained in Odessa airport. The woman showed the passport of 25-year-old citizen of Kirghizia for the border check. Inspector paid attention to the protective film was damaged in it testifying on document’s counterfeit.

There were doubts as to the untrue owner of the document and they were confirmed when she put a signature which was different from one in the passport. The final result of counterfeit of the passport was confirmed in the result of expertise. After that the traveler confessed that she is a 29-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan.

According to the words of the woman-violator, she flied to Ukraine to prolong the term of her stay in Turkey. Before she worked as a waiter in Istanbul and then was expelled from the country. She bought a forged passport for $3 thousand to get back to work.

4 Moldavians were apprehended at the border who were going to Slovakia by the maps from Internet

4 men attempting to get to Slovakia were detained in Transcarpathian region at night. The violators were stopped by the detail of Department of Border Service “Palad Komarivtci”. The detainees did not have documents. The travelers were taken to border subdivision for identification. They reported to the lawmen that they are the citizens of Moldova of the age 20-24 years old and confessed in their intentions to get to Austria. As it cleared out, 4 years ago Ukrainian border guards already detained one of these Moldavians in this area. The very this man tried to take his country fellows figuring the route according to the maps from Internet.

Three men suspected in murder crossed illegally the border on Moldavia

Three persons crossing Moldavian border illegally were detained 100m before the state border by the detail of Department “Pidgirne” of Bilgorod-Dnistrovskyi Detachment in Odessa region. The violators had no documents and were delivered to the subdivision for their identification.  The officers of Interior of Ukraine and Moldova also helped in the process of identification that soon also arrived to department of Border Service. As it is turned out, the detainees made a brigandish attack in Moldavian village Bessarabka the day before in the evening. They are suspected in a murder of a local inhabitant. One of the violators is Ukrainian, the rest two – are the citizens of Moldova.

Illegal migrant from Tunis was hiding from the border guards under the ceiling of the compartment

A man attempting to cross Ukrainian-Polish border illegally was detained in Volyn region. The passenger of the train “Kyiv-Warsaw” hided from the border guards in baggage place under the ceiling of his compartment. To stay unnoticed the traveler covered himself by the mattresses and blankets.

The violator was found during the border-customs check of the carriage in the check point “Yagodyn”. He was 24-year-old citizen of Tunis. He arrived to Ukraine by tourist visa.

At the present moment the trespasser is in TDC of Lutsk Border Detachment. He is sentenced to 10 days of administrative imprisonment for the attempt of crossing the state border illegally.
