In the course of operative measures subdivisions of SBGS has established that helicopter being crashed together with illegal migrants on the territory of Slovakia was owned by one of the Air Clubs in Odessa. According to data, it was established that two pilots being inside the cabin were the citizens of Ukraine, one was from Vinnytsya region and the other from Odessa region. Before, they were military pilots and flied the military helicopters.

Documents in Arab language were found at the place of accident attesting the origin of dead persons in the result of the accident. The Slovakian authorities suspect those persons to be the victims of human trafficking. Seven migrants from Afghanistan and pilot died when helicopter crashed in Slovakia – it was reported by the Reuter Agency referencing MOI of Slovakia.

Four citizens of Afghanistan planned to cross the border on Romania in illegal way and hired the resident of Transcarpathia for this purpose, who wished to earn some extra money. Joint action on cooperation with other authorities on detection of transferring channels, places of accumulation and ways of illegal migrants’ following are continued and perform positive results. Thus, the staff of SBGS and SSU stopped a car in Transcarpathia, by which the citizen of Ukraine transported illegal migrants. Law enforcement agents of two Departments detained 4 persons without documents, preliminary the citizens of Afghanistan, in the suburb of the Transcarpathian region. The trespassers reported about their plans on illegal cross of the border on Romania and to settle in one of EU countries. So far, the appropriate verification and administrative-procedural measures are conducted.

It should be added that reaction group of BS “Uzhgorod” in Transcarpathia apprehended one more violator. The citizen of Palestine intended to cross the border beyond the check point, however an alarm system worked and he was detected by the border guards at once.

Border guards of Chop Detachment detained the citizen of Palestine intending to get to Slovakia through Transcarapathia in illegal way. In the area of BS “Uzhgorod” in the course of patrolling the locality, officers noticed a spy near the fence and a path of tracks lading towards the border. Thus, 100 m before the border line border guards traced and apprehended Palestinian assisted by the service dog. During the interview the man confessed in his intention to get to Europe. Administrative and procedural documents are composed as for the citizen of Palestine. The court is expected.

The staff of SBGS in the Boryspil airport has fixed the next attempts of unlawful benefit on the part of the foreigners, who intended to avoid responsibility for the break of Ukrainian legislation. When checking in for the flight Kyiv-Almaty two citizens of Uzbekistan proposed a bribe in the amount of $50 to inspector of Border Service for each. Thus, foreigners wanted to be free from responsibility for violation of the rules on stay and registration on the territory of Ukraine.

Regarding these citizens, the protocols on administrative violation were composed and passed to competent bodies in established order.

Operation “Border-2015” is continued on detection of illegal migrants and unlawful actions at the state border.

While measures conducted on verification of the ways and places of illegal migrants’ accumulation, the border guards of BS “Selyatyn” of Chernivtsi Detachment detected 10 illegal migrants.

First border guards apprehended 2 migrants. Soon, the searching group detected 5 more women, 1 man and 2 children without documents in one of the buildings in the suburb of village Selyatyn, who arrived from Afghanistan.

Lately, in connection with expected worsening of the weather conditions, the number of illegal migrants being detected at the borders on EU. Thus, just for a day border guards apprehended 16 illegal migrants at different areas of the border – originating from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The organizers of such channels, not thinking of risk for people, direct women as well as children to difficult accessible border places. In its turn, State Border Guard Service appeals to the residents of border areas in case of appearance of strangers or revealing other signs of movement of the organized groups inform immediately the nearest subdivision of SBGS or by phone.

Slovakian law enforcement agents once more have dispelled the myth about “fight enforcement with illegal migration” in Transcarpathia.

Three citizens of Bangladesh were detained on Monday nearby the village Zboi, Snina district.

The migrants crossed Ukrainian-Slovakian border, then they were apprehended by the Slovakian border guards. After clarification of the circumstances, migrants were handed to Ukrainina border guards.

Two Iraqis without documents are detained in Transcarapathia and Ukrainian driver transporting them in the minibus Opel.

In a result of joint operations conducted by the officers of State Border Guard Service together with the interacting bodies, 2 citizens of Iraq without documents were detected. Border guards of Mukachevo Detachment and MOI officers detected them when checking minibus Opel at the check point in the village of Nyzhni Vorota in Transcarpathia.

The verification measures regarding two detected persons and man transporting them are conducted. It was reported by the Press Service of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Two Syrians without document were apprehended in Transcarapathia at night. They intended to get abroad by taxi.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues to take a complex of measures on counteraction to unlawful activity at the state border. Nowadays, special operations are performed attracting power authorities of not only our country as well as the neighboring ones. One of them is “Border-2015, the principle objective of which is fight against illegal migration. Border guards of Mukachevo Detachment of BS “Kosyno” stopped the car Mazda nearby the village of Velyka Byigan, which was moving towards the state border. There were two unfamiliar persons without documents and a taxi driver inside the car. The men introduced themselves as the citizens of Syria. Protocol on administrative violation was composed as to them. Their further destiny will be defined by the court.

Yong man will be judged for illegal transportation of 33 illegal migrants from Afghanistan and Syria through the state border. Public Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian approved the Bill of Indictment regarding the citizen V., being accused in assistance to unlawful transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine (Part 2 Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine). Pre-trial investigation has established that Transcarpathian resident transported 30 citizens of Afghanistan and 3 Syrians from Zhytomyr to Uzhgorod, hiding them in the refrigerator’s cabinet of his car. Law enforcement agents apprehended illegal migrants nearby the border line.

Representatives of Press-Centre of SBGS of Ukraine reported that border guards of Mukachevo Detachment apprehended 10 migrants from Sri Lanka, who intended to cross the state border in illegal way.

Refugees from Sri Lanka were apprehended in the evening on Saturday. One of the “travelers” was stopped by the border detail not far from the state border. Consequently, when conducting further searching measures two more groups were detected having no any documents. According to the words of the detainees, it was learned that they were the citizens of Sri Lanka and intended to get to the territory of one of the countries of European Union.

There is a tendency as to the number of refugees at the western borders of Ukraine to be increased after the EU countries and their neighbors closed their borders for migrants’ movement. Thus, statements about detainees from Asia at the border on European Union may become in the nearest time one of the topical themes in the news of our country. Besides, border guards of BS “Uzhgorod” of Chop Detachment informed about apprehension of the resident of Iran. He also attempted to cross the state border in illegal way.
