In the frames of joint special operation “Border-2017” the State Border Guards Service of Ukraine continues performing active measures on non-admission of unlawful activity at the state border.  thus, due to information received in time from the operative agents of the Northern Regional Department of SBGS by the border guards of BD “Guta Studentska”, Chernivtsi Detachment, the of Ukrainian registration was stopped in the controlled border area. The citizen of Ukraine transported 4 persons without documents. The passengers were the citizens of Bangladesh, 2000, 1995, 1995 and 1996 year of birth, who more likely got to Ukraine in illegal way. The foreigners are detained for 3 days until their identification. Information was entered to register concerning these persons as to the signs of criminal offence, which is stipulated by the article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine (Illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine). Investigation actions go on.

The servicemen of Mostytskyi Detachment prevented illegal cross of the border by the citizen of India close to Ukrainian-Polish border. Local resident informed about appearance of the unknown person of Asian appearance to the border guards of BD “Shegeni”. He saw the foreigner in the suburb of one of the border villages. Reaction group arrived to the place immediately and started the searching operation. The foreigner was detected 200 m before the state border on Poland. He was the citizen of India, 1991 year of birth, who since 2016 had been the student of one of Ukrainian higher establishments. Entering the educational institution Indian decided to look for better destiny in the countries of European Union, thus, walking beyond the check point he got through to Poland. Decision on the case as to illegal cross of the state border of Ukraine will be made by the court.

The officers of Chop Detachment detained four citizens of Vietnam in a private house in the suburb of the village Chop. The place of illegal migrants’ location was managed to be established due to information received from the district inspector of Border Guard Service. Reaction group of BD “Tysa” starting immediately to search the violators detained them during their attempt to run through the house window. These were 2 men and women without any documents. They were about to start to illegal transportation over the state border. Currently, the violators are delivered to Temporary detention Facility for undergoing filtration measures and drawing up corresponding procedural documents. Upon their identification detainees will be attracted to administrative responsibility of Part 2 Article 204-1 of Administrative Infringements Code “Violation or attempt to violate the state border”.

The General Interagency Group of border guards and staff of National Police stopped unlawful cross of the state border by the group of illegal migrants from India in the framework of joint special operation “Border-2017” in Transcarpathia. In the course of available operative information check, the law enforcement agents stopped the car of Polish registration driven by Ukrainian citizen. There were also 5 men of the age 20-31 years old in the car, all of them had passports of the citizens of India. During the interview the foreigners informed that they planned to get to one of the countries of European Union. Also law enforcers learned that assisted by Ukrainian, illegal migrants planed to cross the state border beyond the check point “Kosyno” at the border on Hungary. Aiming to perform filtration actions and prepare administrative documents, the foreigners were delivered to the Temporary Detention Facility of Mukachevo Border Detachment. The Ukrainian undergone measures on presence the signs of criminal offence in his actions, which is stipulated by Part 2 article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine (Illegal transportation of persons over the state border of Ukraine). The legal estimate of foreigners’ actions and their smuggler will be performed by the court.

Big group of illegal migrants was apprehended in the evening by Ukrainian border guards together with Slovakian colleagues in the frames of joint special operation “Border-2017”. Slovakian colleagues reported about the movement of unfamiliar persons. There were 16 citizens of Vietnam, of them 12 men dn4 women. All of them made their way through the wood locality beyond the check points in the direction of Ukrainian-Slovakian border. Reaction group started to the place of detention immediately. First, in the course of operative and searching actions the border detail of BD “Guta”, Chop Detachment, detained 14 persons, and later during the locality check, two more illegal migrants. All detainees did not have any document and reported to be the citizens of Vietnam. Currently, the violators are delivered to Border Service Department for filtration measures and drawing up corresponding procedural documents. Upon their identification, the violators will be called to administrative responsibility as to Part 2 article 204-1 of Administrative Infringement Code of Ukraine “Violation or attempt to violate the state border”.

The foreigner, who exceeded the term of stay in Ukraine, was revealed by the border guards of Kharkiv Detachment in the check point “Kherson-air”. During control actions the border guards established that a passenger from one of the flights, citizen of Turkey, had exceeded his stay term in Ukraine. The foreigner offered the border guards a bribe in the sum of 1000 UAH for not drawing up the protocol. The border guards rejected to accept it and handed the offender to National Police due to the signs of criminal offence stipulated by Article 369 “Offer, promise or provision of illegal benefit to a service person” of Crime Code of Ukraine.

Unknown person making his way beyond the check point in the direction of Poland was apprehended by the border guards of Lviv Detachment. The violator was noticed by the border detail “Rava-Ruska” some hundreds meters before the border. During the check of identifying documents the detainee presented ID-car of Bulgarian citizen. The man did not have documents conforming his legality on the territory of Ukraine. Detained citizen was delivered to Border Guard Department aiming to perform filtration-verification measures. During in-depth check of ID-card it was established that it contained the signs of complete forgery. Further on, it was learned that this persons was the citizen of Turkey, 1992 year of birth, arrived to Ukraine in established order. However, after crossing the state border he destroyed his passport of Turkish citizen. He bought the forgery during his stay in Moldova. Aiming to perform identification, the citizen was detained for 3 days. Protocol on administrative infringement was drawn up as to the detainee, which is stipulated by Part 1 Article 204-1 of Administrative Infringement Code of Ukraine (Violation or attempt to violate the state border).

The staff of SBGS revealed two passport document not belonged to persons presented them in the Boryspil Airport. Two citizens (women) of Iran intended to use someone’s passports in order to improve their life conditions. As they reported during the interview, they bought these passport documents in Austria for $12 000. The violators were detected during check in for the flight “Teheran-Kyiv”. Persons were rejected in crossing the state border and banned to enter Ukraine for the period of three years.

The border guards found forged passport in a foreigner in the course of verification procedures in the Boryspil Airport, who intended to get to Austria. The citizen of Turkey planned to use the forgery. The man traveled through Ukraine by transit. When performing checking the border guard doubted in validity of the passport document. Upon thorough examination of the passport it was established that it was completely forged. Currently, the foreigner has already been sent by back flight to Istanbul.

During patrolling close to border on Poland and Russia, the staff of State Border Guard Service apprehended citizens of Turkey and Russia. The violators were revealed by district inspector of Mostytskyi and Kharkiv Detachment. The citizen of Turkey was stopped in the suburb of the village Trushevychi. And Russian traveling to Ukraine beyond the check points was detained by the military men 10 meters before the Ukrainian-Russian border. So far, the violator was detained for performing verification actions and drawing up administrative materials.
