The staff of SBGS detected passport document of the Bulgarian citizen with the signs of partial forgery in the International Boryspil Airport.  The citizen of Uzbekistan planned to use this passport when checki in for the flight Istanbul-Kyiv. During filtration actions implementation by border guards of Separate Check Poin “Kyiv” it was established that the man, 1983 DOB, purchased the passport of Bulgarian citizen in Istanbul for $400. The person was returned by back flight and forbidden to enter the territory of Ukraine for 3 years.

Two citizens of Azerbaijan intending illegally to cross the state border were stopped by the border guards of Sumy Detachment. In the course of information processing, border patrol stopped two persons in a direct closeness to the state border in the direction between Ukrainian and Russian villages. The detainees were two citizens of Azerbaijan, who tried to get to Russia in illegal way. During filtration actions border guards found that the 36-year-old Azerbaijani was prohibited to enter Russia, and 32-year-old – had exceeded the deadline of stay in Ukraine.

So far, corresponding administrative materials were drawn considering the attempt ofillegal cross of the Ukrainian state border.

Also, as previously reported, last night border guards of BD “Sopych” of the same detachment detained two citizens of Ukraine and a citizens of Uzbekistan who had violated the state border with Russia. With regard to the detainees the border guards issued appropriate administrative materials sending the notification about discovered signs of criminal infringement  to the National Police under the Art. 332 (illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

From the beginning, the border guards of sumy Detachment Sumy apprehended more than 60 violators of the state border, 5 of them were illegal immigrants.

Operative subdivisions of Southern Regional Administration of State Border Guard Service together with the representatives of State Migration Service of Ukraine in Odessa region continue implementation of actionds directed upon prevention and counteraction to illegal migration. Thus, the border guards and staff of Migration Service detected 11 citizens of China at one of building markets, who worked without any documents identifying their personality and confirming legality of their employment, in the frames of special operation “Migrant-2017” during the joint raid. Found persons were delivered to State Migration Service of Ukraine in Odessa region to conduct procedural actions and drawing up required documents.

Four citizens of India and two from RF, crossing Ukrainian-Russian border, were stopped by the  border guards of BD “Starytsya”, Kharkiv Detachment, together with the representatives of Department on Fight against Human Traffic and National Police. The trespassers were detected and detained in the direction of Russian settlement Mur and Ukrainian one Starytsya. There were four citizens of India and two Russian citizens, who agreed to take foreigners over the Ukrainian-Russian border for a reward in amount of $ 2 000. Also, according to the words of illegal migrants it was managed to learn that they arrived to the Russian federation in legal way, as tourists, and then they planned to get to Europe by transit through Ukraine. Currently, the violators, the citizens of India and RF, are detained.

On March 16, the meeting on issues of illegal migration took place in the Head Department of SMS of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region. The head of Migration Service I.Mykhailyshyn, his first deputy O.Berdar, representatives of SSU  in the region, of Chop and Mukachevo Border Detachments, the staff of Head Administration of National Police participated in the event. The problems of services cooperation as to control strengthening over the foreign citizens’ stay within the region territory and information exchange on this point were discussed. The head of Migration service marked a good level of cooperation organized in Transcarpathia in the process of joint preventive actions realization. Last year 258 illegal migrants were revealed, 500 foreign citizens were called to administrative responsibility for violated rules of stay in Ukraine. In the course of the meeting it was agreed to perform joint verification of places, where foreign citizens and stateless persons could stay, legal basis of their stay, introduce a workup within border areas of the reagion aiming to detect the stable illegal migrants’ transit channels.

Czech Police arrested 85 foreigners during the raid, who had been working illegally in Prague at the stock of the Internet shop Rohlik.cz. Almost all detainees were Ukrainians. Police reportes that 74 persons will be deported. Administrative procedures will be applied with regard to others, most likely they are to be deported as well. The Company in which Ukrainians worked, rejects the violations explaining that the employees were sent on business trip from Polish firm, which is not prohibited by EU legislation. However, it was Polish building firm and under the law it had no any right to send its employees to the bussines trip to the stock. Also, it is mentioned that approximately $950 (about 25 000 UAH) is paid at the stocks per month. The citizens of Czech Republic refuse to be employed for this salary, thus, local firm hire foreigners and often act avoiding the law.

The operative staff of State Border Guard Service detained the violators of the state border of Ukraine in Summy region. Border detail servicing close to the state line in the direction between Russian and Ukrainian villaged, revealed four persons crossing the border from Russian territory in illegal way. During detention one person noticing border guards started to run in a return direction, the others were apprehended. These were two citizens of Ukraine and one of Uzbekistan having no any identifying documents. So far, the citizens are delivered to Border Department to conduct filtration measures. Corresponding administrative materials were drawn up as to two Ukrainians, local residents, considering the illegal cross of the state border of Ukraine. In addition, notification was forwarded to Glukhiv Police Department about criminal infringement signs stipulated by Article 332 (illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine) of Crime Code of Ukraine. The citizen of Uzbekistan being undocumented is detained for three days in order to identify him, then he will be called to administrative responsibility for illegal cross of the Ukrainian state border.

The staff of State Border Guard Service detected and checked 10 citizens of Afghanistan in the International Boryspil Airport. The foreigners, among which there were minors, traveled by transit from Almaty to Milan. When performing control actions the border guards established that travelers’ documents were forged. They used falsificated certificates for temporary residence in Italy. Upon drawing up corresponding documents all detected persons were returned by back flight to Kazakhstan.

Border guards of Lviv Detachment detained the citizen of Tyrkey intending to cross the state border beyond the check point. Border guards of BD “Rava-Ruska” revealed the violator by means of thermal imager. As it was established soon the 37-year-old citizen of Turkeyhad intended to cross the state border already for the second time a month. So far, the administrative protocol is issued as to the foreigner’s infringement, the case is passed to the court.

Citizen of Turkey was apprehended by the border guards of Lviv Detachment together with the members of Public Formation. The members of PF informed about stranger’s appearance, which assist law enforcers in guarding the state border. border detail of BD “Parkhomenko” stopped the man during his trip to Ukrainian-Polish border 1.5 km before the state border line. Detainee had passport for travelling abroad of the citizen of Turkey and he arrived to Ukraine in established order.
