Eight Ukrainian illegal migrants were apprehended in Hungary

picThey stayed in the family house Hoydudoroze and intended to be employed in illegal way. Some one of the neighbors reported about Ukrainians. The law enforcement agents found 8 citizens of Ukraine having no appropriate visas, consequently, they had not right to stay within Hungary. Detainees were delivered to Migration and Citizenship State Service in order to make further actions.

Foreign woman with forged passport was apprehended in Transcarpathia

picThe border guards of Chop detachment detected a foreigner in the area of railway station of the check point “Chop”, who intended to get to the countries of European Union by forged passport. The woman travelled by train “Odessa-Uzhgorod”. She provided a foreign passport under the name of the citizen of France to the border detail performing verification of the passengers’ documents in the carriage. However, during inspection border guards discovered it to be false. In particular, a page with constituent data was replaced and document punch was home-made, as well as signs of SBGS on crossing the state border in the check point “Boryspil were forged. According to the woman’s words, she was a citizen of Congo. She was apprehended and delivered to Temporary detention centre of Chop Border Detachment to identify her personality and clarify the circumstances of infringement. Forged passport was confiscated and passed to the representatives of National Police in Transcarpathian region.

Ukrainian and Slovakian border guards perform a complex of join actions to counteract illegal activity at the border

picIn accordance with the Agreements between Slovakian Republic, Poland, Hungary and Moldova State Border Guard Service of Ukraine performs a common patrolling at the joint borders. Holding these actions provides a qualitative control over the joint state border regimen, allows opportune prevention of illegal cross of the border and counteracts violations and crimes at the state border.

Thus, border guards of Chop Detachment together with Slovakian colleagues composed of border detail performing patrolling along the Slovakian territory 1.5 km before the border line apprehended a citizen of Turkey intending to get to one of the countries of European Union.

One more violator of the state border was detained also during the joint patrolling. The motion of unfamiliar person was detected by means of surveillance camera. The border guards arrived to the place immediately and detained the man without document. According to the words of the citizen of Ukraine he traveled to Slovakia. Further filtration measures continue with regard to the violators.

Two violators from Moldova were detected by means of current surveillance means

picBorder guard of Belgorod-Dnistrovskyi Detachment apprehended two violators from Moldova in Odessa region. The optic-electronic surveillance system assisted in their disclosure, which is located at Ukrainian-Moldavian border. Unfamiliar persons were noticed in the direction of Moldavian populated area and Ukrainian one. The violators managed to move away the state line just for 50 meters. Detainees introduced themselves as Moldavians, however no documents they had. So far, their intentions to get to Ukraine are verified, after identification they will be called to responsibility for illegal cross of the state border.

Four migrant from Sri Lanka were apprehended in Transcarpathia

picThe staff of National Police together with Transcarpathian border guards detained four citizens of Sri Lanka and Ukrainian in Berehovo region, when they attempted to cross the state border illegally. The migrants were detected during the patrolling around Ukrainian border. The law enforcement agents apprehended four adult men having no money and documents. All were delivered to Mukachevo Border Detachment.

Illegal migrants were interrogated in the court reporting to be the citizens of Sri Lanka. They wished to get to the European Union through Ukraine.

The foreigners were transported through the border by the resident of Kalnyk village, Mukachevo region. The citizen of Ukraine assisted illegal migrants is announced about suspicion under Part 23 Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine, i.e. illegal transportation of persons though the state border. The issue is under consideration as to the pre-trial restriction selection. The man faces imprisonment for the term of 3 to 7 with confiscation of crime instrumentalities.

Six citizens of Afghanistan were detected in Transcarpathia hiding in one of private houses

picSix migrants from Afghanistan were apprehended in the course of operative actions conducted by the border guards of Chop Detachment together with the representatives of National Police. According to the court decision a search of private property was made in Uzhgorod. Operative agents received information about the place of travelers’ stay. Currently, there are further filtering measures are undertaken on looking for possible persons involved in smuggling the Afghan citizens to the EU.

Note that active measures are continued in the State Border Guard Service aiming to expose the channels of illegal migration. Overall, since the beginning of operation “Border-2016”, which lasts from April, more than 100 illegal migrants were apprehended while trying to get over the state border.

The activity of State Migration Service in Transcarpathian region analyzed its activity for the six months of 2016.

116 applications are considered as to Ukrainian citizenship granting and 444 exits were executed as to permanent residence in the far abroad. The most popular countries for emigration are Hungary, Czech Republic and Israel.

Border guards apprehended Syrian lodging himself in hotel as British man

picBorder guards of BS “Uzhgorod” of Chop Detachment detained a citizen of Syria sitting out in one of the hostels in Uzhgorod and planned to get to one of EU countries. Syrian was apprehaned by a district inspector of Border Guard Service in the course of information realization being received by the staff of operative subdivisions of SBGS. After verification the border guards established that the man lodged himself in the hostel using for this forged passport document of the citizen of Great Britain. He did not have other documents, however, he introduced himself as the citizen of Syria. Also he confessed in his illegal intentions to get to Germany.

Border guards of Ukraine and Slovakia jointly detained illegal migrants in Transcarpathia

picIn a result of operative exchange of information and conducted joint actions, border guards of Ukraine and Slovakia prevented an attempt of illegal migrants to cross the state border in unlawful way. The border guards of BS “V.Bereznyi” of Chop Detachment received information from a local resident about the movement of two unfamiliar persons towards the state border. Aiming to exclude unlawful activity, the staff of State Border Guards Service started immediately to the place of possible violation commencing joint patrolling with Slovakian Border Police along the line of the state border.

In a result of joint actions the law enforcement agents of two countries apprehended 2 persons without documents, who introduced themselves as migrants from Armenia. Further verification goes on.

Border guards detected Ukrainian travelling to Slovakia by someone’s passport

picBorder guards of Chop Detachment in the check point “Uzhgorod” detected a citizen of Ukraine attempting to cross the state border of Ukraine using document not belonging to the bearer and by this he violated the requirements of Article 12 of Law of Ukraine “About state border of Ukraine”. Law enforcement agents established that fifty-one-year old Ukrainian travelling to Slovakia during documents check. While reviewing documents 51-year-old citizen of Ukraine, moving towards Slovakia, law enforcement officers established that the passport provided for control was deemed to be lost or stolen being registered in the database of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. It will be noted that this database allows you to establish and exchange quickly information about stolen and lost documents proving identity and citizenship. During the subsequent interview the Ukrainian explained that he had no visa to enter the territory of Slovakia, thus, he took the document found in the town of Uzhgorod. Currently, a decision was made as to our compatriot on reject in allowing to cross the state border, case materials on administrative infringement were prepared. His further fate will be defined by the court.
