In the frames of joint border operation the staff of Border Service “Vilok” of Mukachevo Detachment detained 7 citizens of Afghanistan for attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine in the distance of about 500 meters in the suburb of the populated area Vilok, Vynohradiv region.

The detainees were delivered to Border Subdivision for preparing administrative and procedural documents and conducting the filtration and verification actions.

So far, the citizens of Afghanistan are detained and they are at the Temporary Detention Centre. The further destiny of illegal migrants will be defined by the court.

The border guards detected some persons at the western border attempting to get to EU countries in illegal way. Besides, in Transcarpathia, border guards together with the staff of STI stopped the car at the post of State Traffic Inspectorate in Nyzni Vorota.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine executing the orders of the President of Ukraine continues to take a complex of measures to interact the unlawful activity at the state border.

So far, the special operation involves the Defense and Law Enforcement Agencies not only of our country and neighboring ones as well. One of them is “Border-2015”, its main purpose is fight against the illegal migration.

Thus, in the area of BS “Rava-Ruska” two unfamiliar persons of Lvov Detachment without documents were apprehended 700 m before the border line. During the interview border guards learned that the men were the citizens of Turkey intending to get to the countries of European Union.

Now, the detainees are delivered to Border Subdivision. Their further destiny will be defined by the court.

Also, the border guards together with the traffic police stopped the car at the STI post in Nyzni Vorota. There were 3 citizens of Syria except the citizen of Ukraine inside the car. Two of them had Certificates on Temporary Residence in Ukraine valid before 2016. One more man assured that he was entrant of Kharkiv Pharmaceutical University, however, there were no confirming documents. According to their words, they arrived with a visit to Uzhgorod friend.

Aiming to prevent unlawful activity at the state border the representatives of Transcarpathian Police clarify the circumstances regarding the Syrian citizens.

It will be recalled that during the previous month the border guards of Western Regional Department detained 167 persons, who intended to cross the get to the countries of European Union in illegal way.

As it is reported by ČTK Agency referring to International Organization of Migration, Czech Republic possesses the 6^th place among the countries, to which guest workers from Transcarpathia tend for illegal work.

The first five places are occupied by Poland, Germany, Italy, Russia (due to the crisis, “interest” to it sufficiently decreases) and Canada.

By IOM data, if in 2011 – 28% were illegal employed abroad of total number of Ukrainians residing there, in the course of 6 months of 2015 – this number has comprised over 40%.

Every fifth Ukrainian planning to leave the motherland is ready to be employed abroad without appropriate permission.

State Border Guard Service of Ukraine keeps taking measures on counteraction to illegal migration at the state border. In particular, a special attention is paid to the fight against illegal migration. In the frames of operation conduct “Border-2015” in the area of the village Nyznie Vorota (Transcarpathian region) the officers of Mobile Border Post of Mukachevo Detachment together with the MOI staff detected 4 citizens of Iraq traveling towards the border line during the car examination. By received information they are the students of one of Ternopil Universities. Also, in the area of BS “Vilok” border guards of the same detachment detained Syrian citizen who intended to cross the border in illegal way.

Besides, in the area of the village Rava-Ruska, Lviv region, border guards were informed beforehand from the local inhabitant regarding persons attempting to cross the line of the state border. Thus, during the examination of the regular bus “Lvov-Devyatyr” border guards detected two citizens of Turkey in the course of the interview they were unable to explain their aim of stay in this region.

In total, since the beginning of operation “Border-2015” the border guards interacting the other local authorities detected 483 illegal migrants, of them 41 children.

Border guards in the international check point of air connection “Odessa” detected a person with forged passport. During the check in for the flight “Istanbul-Odessa” one of the passengers presented the passport of the citizen of Hungary. However, border control inspector of Odessa Detachment noticed immediatedly that the passport was false. Later on, law enforcement agents found the real passport of the citizen of Syria. It was learned soon that by means of forged document the prseudo-Hungarian inteneded to get tothe countries of European Union without any obstacles.

The false document was confiscated by the border guards and protocol on administrative violation was prepared. Besides, in the course of the day the staff of SBGS in the check points apprehended 4 foreigners, who presented their documents contained forged signs of the border signs. The violaters from Azerbaijan, Moldova and Gerogia intended to cross the state border in the check points “Gornostaiivka”, “Platonov” and “Boryspil”. The detainees were passed to the MOI officers.

Border guards warned the attempt of unlawful money award for the illegal crossing of the state border at the airport “Borispol”. Border guards of the check point “Kyiv” at the international airport “Boryspil” during the checking in for the flight “Kyiv – Almaty” detected the citizen of Uzbekistan. When passing the passport control he put in 1000 UAH to the passport document. In such a form offering a bribe to the border guards the man tried to avoid the administrative responsibility for exceeding the period of stay in Ukraine. The fact of proposal to give unlawful compensation is documented. The person is passed to MOI. He is also fined for exceeding the stay term in Ukraine.

State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on request of the President of Ukraine continues to take measures aiming at counteraction to unlawful activities at the state border. Nowadays, special operations are conducted involving Force Departments not only of our country and of the neighboring ones as well. One of them is “Border-2015”, the principal target of which is to fight against illegal migration.

Thus, in the course of the state border monitoring in the area of BS “Velykyi Bereznyi” of Chop Detachment border guards detected the citizen of Ukraine nearby the fence, who seeing the border guards intended to escape. However, in a result of prepared actions, the runaway was caught. After documents checking it was established that detainee was called to responsibility for organization of illegal migrants’ transportation more than once. Thus, a decision was made immediately to strengthen the control measures and commence the search in the area of responsibility regarding possible detection of persons, which could be accompanied by the detainee to Slovakia.

Soon, border guards exposed 5 men of African appearance without documents 400 meters before the state border line. According to their words – all of them are migrants from Somalia.

So far, the illegal migrants are delivered to Border Subdivision. Their further destiny will be defined by the court. Regarding the citizen of Ukraine a criminal proceeding is commenced by the fact of his action as well as the work on detection of the organizer and accomplices involved in organization of the channel for illegal migration.

The operative staff of Sumy Border Detachment in the town of Konotop detained a group of illegal migrants. In the course of this information realization, the law enforcement agents detected 10 “travelers” in the private flat, there was 1 woman among them. All of them are migrants from Afghanistan. Besides, two citizens of Ukraine were apprehended who probably involved in transportation of the “asylum seekers” through the state border of Ukraine. So far, the border guards together with the MOI and SSU officers conduct filtration and verification measures aiming at documenting the infringements and its further registration in Unitary System. The interacting law enforcement agencies of Sumy region are informed about this fact.

Four migrants from Georgia intending to get to one of EU countries were apprehended at night by the border guards of Chop Detachment. The travelers without documents were detained in the suburb of the populated area Velykyi Bereznyi. While conducting verification measure it was established that the man arrived officially to Ukraine by the flight from Tbilisi and further intended to enter the territory of Slovakia. Due to the fact that the detainees had no any appropriate documents to travel to EU countries, these citizens tried to cross the border in illegal way. It should be noted that since June 15 the interagency operation “Border-2015” has started, the main purpose of which is a counteraction to illegal migration. In the course of the operation, the operational units of State Border Guard Service jointly with other law enforcement agencies have already detected 457 illegal migrants of which 41 – are minors.

State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on request of the state governance keeps strengthening actions against illegal migrations. In the airport Boryspil the officers of Interior Security of Border Department together with the militaries of Separate Check Point “Kyiv” detected two citizens of Iran attempting to get to one of EU countries in illegal way. During the document verification of the passengers traveling by transit flight from Erevan, there were the forgeries of German visa labels exposed being in the possession of two citizens of Iran. In the course of further filtration measures it was established that detainees bought documents for 4 000€ in order to get to Frankfurt.

So far, the verification measures go on regarding the persons who probably assisted the citizens of Iran.
