Four Afghans with two “guides” were apprehended at the border in Transcarpathia

Four migrants, citizens of Afghanistan, were detained in the evening by the border guards of BS “Stuzhytsya”.Border detail together with law enforcement agents of mobile group stopped the travelers nearby the village of Lyuta. While checking them, it was established that the foreigners did not have any documents. According to the words of the detainees, they were the migrants from Afghanistan intending to get to one of the countries of European Union. Together with illegal migrants, the law enforcement agents stopped two citizens of Ukraine, who according to preliminary information accompanied the “happiness seekers” on the way to cherished goal. The documents were processed concerning one of the group leader as to the signs of crime commitment stipulated by the Article 332 of CCU “Illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine”.

Number of immigrants increases within each year

In 45% in comparison with the first quarter of 2013, the number of appeals of the foreigners and stateless persons has enlarged as to granting permission for immigration. It was reported by Eduard Dudkevych during the meeting of Department of SMS of Ukraine. Also, in one and half times the number of applications has increased as to stay term extension in Ukraine of the foreigners and stateless persons. In general, since the beginning of the year, 83 and 23 persons respectively addressed to Bykovyn Migration Service.

The specialists of Department on work with refugees and foreigners are sure that the tendency of increase in the number of immigrants and foreigners staying in Ukraine is temporal, it is stable and will stay a such from now on. Recent introduction of control strengthening for the stay terms of the citizens of Russian Federation in Ukraine will also influence these processes. As namely Russians compose the greater part of migrants and foreigners residing in Bukovyn. There are about 50% among those who are documented by the certificate on permanent residence. Those issuing the certificate for temporary residence through the reunion with the family are more than 20%.

In general, according to data of Department of SMS of Ukraine in Chernivtsi oblast, about 5 000 foreigners are registered and temporary or permanently reside in Bukovyn.

The residents of the Crimea continue travelling abroad because of persecution fear

During the day, three Crimean families departed to Poland aiming at further getting refugee status. 12 citizens of Ukraine, 6 of them children, and one foreigner crossed Ukrainian-Polish border in the check point “Shegeni”, Lviv oblast. They expressed their wish to get refugee status in Poland.

The parent informed the border guards of Mostytskyi Detachments that because of threatens of revenge and persecution from pro-Rusian citizens, they had to leave own homes and seek asylum in the neighboring country. The majority of travelers resided in Simferopol. Also, together with his family, wife and four children, the father travelled with them, citizen of Egypt residing permanently in Ukraine.

After solving some formalities with Polish colleagues, border guards provided with check in and pass of the citizen seeking asylum.

Border guards detected 4 violators with false signs of State Border Guards Service

Four violators with forged signs of SBGS were detected by the border guards.

False document of the citizen of Azerbaijan was detected by the border guard of Separate check point “Kyiv” in the airport Boryspil. The man intended to depart from Kyiv to Tbilisi.

The citizen of Georgia with forged data-stamps wanted to get to Turkey through Lviv airport.

One more citizen of Azerbaijan was stopped in the check point “Kozacha Lopan”. Azerbaijani was travelling by train from St. Petersburg to Sevastopol and presented the document also containing the false signs. All violators were handed to MOI officers. Besides, the passenger with the same falsification was detected by the border guards at the border in the check point “Mogyliv-Podilskyi”, Vinnytsya oblast. Moldavian planned to get from Moscow to Moldova by regular bus.

The same Syrians were apprehended at Transcarpathian border for the second time

BorderguardsofChopDetachmentdetainedtwocitizensofSyriaduringtheillegalcrossofthestateborderintheareaof BS “Tysa”. It was marked that unfamiliar persons were noticed near the border on Hungary by the local residents and informed the district inspector on this point. Operative group starting to look for the violators, two men were stopped 100 m before the state border. They had no any documents and introduced themselves as the citizens of Syria. As it was established, these citizens had been detained before for the violation of the border regimen and were handed over to Department of Migration Service in Chernovtsy oblast. They asked for protection and getting refugee status at the place, however, it was evident that Ukrainian lands were not interesting for them. Not waiting for the decision, the citizens of Syria made their way to Hungary beyond the check points.

So far, administrative proceeding is undertaken concerning the trespassers.

Two Congolese and Moldavian were not passed through the border in Volyn and Odessa

Border guards of Lutsk Detachment detected the citizen of Congo having someone’s document. The man travelled by train “Kyiv-Warsaw” and for the passport control he presented the document belonging to other person – citizen of Great Britain. According to the court decision, Congolese was sentenced to 10 days of arrest. Besides, it was established that he was accompanied by the citizen of Great Britain, migrant from Congo. He was handed over to Volyn SSU officers to establish the details of the infringement.

In Odessa, one more violator was detected having forged documents in the check point “Novi Troyany”. Border-customs inspection group detected the national passport of the citizen of Ukraine and invalid passport of the citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad in the passenger’s personal staff , citizen of Moldova, during the exit of the car BMW, which he as if bought in Odessa for $1400.

Russia deports Crimean Tatars from the Crimea

Federal Migration Service of RF issued an Order about Resettlement of Crimean Tatars from the Crimea. The statement is dated of April 11, but it is announced only today at official Edition of Federal Meetings of RF. Besides, it is specified that Tatars pose threat to Russia and its citizens in the order. Thus, the director of FMS ordered to elaborate regulations about the order of resettlement of the Crimean Tatars for further resettlement on the territory of Kostromskaya, Nizhegorodskaya and Rostov oblasts.

It will be recalled that Majlis of Crimean-Tatar people prepares for the referendum to determine the will of the Crimean-Tatar people. Before, Majlis called Supreme Council of Ukraine with international organizations (UNO, OSCE, Council of Europe, European Union) aiming at realization of intrinsic rights of Crimean-Tatar people stipulated by the international deeds on rights of indigenous people, provision with free will to join the right by Crimean-Tatar people to self-determination at their historic territory – in the Crimea.

Three migrants from Caucasus travelled to Slovakia

Border guards of Chop Detachment detained 3 illegal migrants originating from Caucasus. In the beginning, the operative group with the service dog detained two men in the area of BS “Guta” , who travelled through the forest in the direction to Slovakia. On border guards’ demand to present their documents, the violators reported that they had no any documents. The “travelers” mentioned that they were the citizens of Georgia and in the search of better life conditions they aimed to get to one of EU countries.

Soon, one more “happiness seeker” was apprehended by the military men of BS “Uzhgorod” not far from the oblast centre. The man without documents also introducing himself as the citizen of Georgia left about a kilometer and a half to reach the cherished border on Slovakia.

The trespassers were delivered to border subdivision for their identification, establishing the circumstances of the infringement and preparing administrative-procedural documents. Decision on responsibility before the law and their further destiny will be defined by the court.

Nine violators were detected in the airports of Kyiv and Lviv

Border guards of Separate check point “Kyiv” detected a forged passport of the citizen of Bulgaria during the check in of the passengers. The man arrived from Istanbul gave this document. The page with constituent data of the bearer was replaced in the passport. The passenger explained that he was Iranian, the forgery he bought in Turkey for $5000 to get to the countries of European Union .

Also, Russian was detected in “Boryspil”. Wishing to get to Ukraine he changed his surname. The citizen of Russia arrived by the flight from Moscow with new passport. 27-year-old man explained that he had recently been issued the document, thus his previous passport was as if washed accidentally. However, soon the border guards established that Russian man intentionally changed his surname and the passport as he was banned to enter Ukraine by authorized body. So far, the passenger is sent back by return flight to the country of departure.

Besides, the workers of SBGS rejected in entering the territory of Ukraine to 7 citizens of Turkey in the airport “Lviv”. The travelers arriving by the flight from Istanbul could not confirm the goal and place of their stay in Ukraine during the interview. Also it was established that they did not have sufficient financial means to stay in the country. The citizens were returned by the same flight to Turkey.

Pseudo French and Turk were detained at Ukrainian-Polish

In the course of two days border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment detained two foreigners trying to get illegally to Poland.

Thus, the inspector of Border Service detected a woman, who attempted to cross the border with the passport of the citizen of France in the check point “Krakovets” in Lviv oblast during the check in of the passengers of the regular bus “Kyiv-Köln”. Preparing beforehand, the woman skillfully posed as Frenchwoman, however, it turned out that she had true documents in the course of the interview. As it was established 25-year-old citizen of Congo in such a way intended to depart to the countries of European Union.

By the court decision, the woman was called to administrative responsibility for the attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine. The matter is also under consideration concerning the compulsory exclusion of the foreigner.

The day before, the citizen of Turkey was apprehended with Bulgarian passport in the same check point. In the process of documents examination border guards detected the signs of its partial forgery, besides the change of identification page. As it was clarified, 27-year-old man travelled by car to the countries of the Western Europe in the search of better life.

The officers of SSU were informed upon the falsification of passport document. The detainee is called to administrative responsibility in the form of arrest for 15 days with further exclusion from Ukraine in accordance with the court decision.
