The staff of operational units of the Southern Regional Department of SBGSU together with the representatives of the State Migration Service and the Directorate of the National police in the Odessa region carried out a number of activities to identify the violators of immigration laws.

Due to the joint efforts of the law enforcers,  9 illegal migrants, citizens of the Republic of Bangladesh, were discovered. All identified foreigners stayed in Ukraine violating the migration legislation.

The foreigners were detained by the court decision.

The staff of SBGSU detained the organizer of illegal migrants’ smuggling – the citizens of Sudan, who organized the movement of their compatriots across the border. However, as it was established by the operative agents, the man was not limited by the preparation for one person to cross illegally the state border.

In the course of the investigative actions within criminal proceedings according to the classification Part 2 Art. 332 Crime Code of Ukraine, the operative agents of the Western regional department received information about the group of illegal migrants. Further on, a joint team at the participation of the employees of Operative-searching department, the servicemen of the Lviv Border Detachment and the staff of Migration Service of Ukraine discovered two more potential illegal migrants – citizens of Morocco, who were without documents in a private house in the city of Lviv. According to the foreigners’ words, they planned to get illegally to one of the countries of European Union.

The foreigners were taken to Border Guard Department in Lviv region, where they were brought to administrative responsibility according to Art. 203 of AICU, as well as the decision was made on forced return of migrants during 15 days and the prohibition of entry to Ukraine over the next 3 years.

The border guards of Separate checkpoint “Kyiv” have found two foreigners with forged documents at the Boryspol Airport

So, the staff of the Border Guard Service at the time of registration of passengers of the flight “Kiev – Helsinki” revealed the citizen of Iraq, who provided the passport of the citizen of Spain with signs of partial forgery, and the replacement of the page with constituent data. The man, born in 1997, will be returned by a back flight to Istanbul.

In addition, during the implementation of control activities as to the passengers of the flight “Kiev – Amsterdam” the law enforcement officers established the partial forgeries in the passport of the citizen of Turkey, where 8 pages were replaced.

Concerning the last violator the protocol was drafted according to the Article 204-1 of the AICU (Illegal cross or attempt of illegal cross of the state border of Ukraine).

Two men tried to sneak over the state border to Hungary.

The Syrians were discovered by the joint efforts of the Police and SBGS according to the information provided by the Department of Internal Security of the State Border Guard Service.

The men were hiding in the cemetery near the village of Astei, Berehovo district. The men did not have any documents, they introduced themselves as the citizens of Syria and intended in the future to get to one of the countries of the European Union.

Illegal travelers were taken to the Border Division of SBGSU in order to prepare protocols on administrative protocols and perform filtration actions.

The resident of the village Shehyni reported to the local police inspector of the Border Guard Service about the movement of an unknown person near the state border. Already in fifteen minutes, the border guards of Mostyskyi Detachment detained the citizen of Turkey, who traveled to the neighboring country. The foreigner had the foreign passport.

So far, the Protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up concerning the detainee  under the Article 204-1 AICU (Illegal cross or attempt of illegal cross of the state border of Ukraine), and the citizen is in the Temporary Detention Facility for establishing the circumstances of the breach.

Last night at the airport “Borispol” the border guards of Separate checkpoint “Kyiv” detected forged documents belonging to two foreigners.

The passport documents with a “surprise” were provided by two Iranian to the policemen during the passengers’ check in for the flight “Colombo-Kiev”. For their journey they bought Turkish foreign passports of citizens of Sweden and Croatia from dealers for $3 000.  During the filtration activities and inspection of baggage, the valid passports of citizens of Iran were found in the personal stuff of the foreigners.

The citizens have already been returned by a back flight. The foreigners are banned to enterr the territory of Ukraine for the period of three years.

Two illegal migrants, who intended to cross the border on Romania in illegal way, was apprehended  yesterday by the border guards of BD “Dyula”, Mukachevo Detachment.

Receiving information from a local resident about the emergence of two unknown persons of non-Slavic appearance in the borderland, the border guards immediately organized the searching activities. As a result, soon the soldiers detained two men without documents on the highway “Klynove-Dyula”. The detainees reported that they were the citizens of Palestine and intended to enter Romania illegally.

In order to draw up administrative protocols and perform filtration actions as to the foreigners, they were delivered to the Border Guard Service Department of “Dyula”. The actions on establishments of persons circle, who were involved in the organization of illegal migrants’ trip are still continued.

The further destiny of the travelers and assessment of their actions will be determined by the court.

A citizen of the Netherlands tried to give a bribe of 2 thousand US dollars to the border guards of the Separate checkpoint “Kyiv” tonight at the Borispol Airport.

The man, born in 1964 followed by the flight to Tel-Aviv. After passing border control procedures, the foreigner turned to the staff of the Border Guard Service with a request to resolve the issue of his friends passing the border for the relevant cash reward. The  mediator offered 2 thousand dollars to the law enforcement officers. In the same amount man assessed “the scale of the problem” of two Iraqi citizens, who arrived by the flight earlier and could not cross the state border to Ukraine due to non-verification of their intended stay purpse. The Iraqis were rejected in admission and at that time they had already been expecting the return flight back. Perhaps they did not want to return home deciding to be involved in illegal shady business of his friend, for which ordinary journey turned into “adventure”.

Currently, on the fact of undue remuneration attempt, the border guards informed the employees of National Police.

Note that from the beginning of 2017, the border guards more than 1000 times refused the unlawful remuneration.

The border guards detained illegal migrants in the checkpoint “Illichivsk Fishing port” at the time of ship  registration “Sea Partner” arrived from Turkey.

Information about two unknown persons was received by the border guards from the truck driver. He saw two men, approximately 30 years of age, cutting through the awning of the trailer and trying to escape to the port. Both illegal immigrants were detained almost in 5 minutes. Illegal migrants were the citizens of Morocco.

At this time, the foreigners were returned to the ship and sent back to Turkey.
