The border guards of the Separate checkpoint “Kyiv” found a false document belonging to a foreigner who, in search of “better life” purchased it for 3 thousand Euros, in order to get to Ukraine. The citizen of Syria arrived from Istanbul to Boryspil International Airport. When checking documents, the Border guard inspector doubted in the validity of the passport document provided by this person. The passport was sent for in-depth review. According to the results of the study it was established that the submitted document did not belong to the person. In addition, this passport was fixed in the Interpol database. As the border guards had established, the foreigner used the passport of a British citizen, which he purchased in Istanbul. Currently, the citizen is expecting for a return flight.
Two violators from Moldova and Ukraine with invalid passport documents were revealed by the border guards of Ukrainian-Russian border. When checking the passengers of “Moscow-Odessa” train in the railway check point “Konotop” the border guards of Summy Detachment revealed a citizen of Moldova, who was banned to enter Ukraine. In the course of further verification the border guards established 26 forgery marks of the SBGSU on Ukrainian border crossing in her passport document. Aiming to solve the issue on unobstructed border cross the citizen of Moldova offered the border guard a bribe in the amount of 2000 RUR to what she was conclusively rejected. Currently, 37-year-old Moldavian is returned by a back flight in an established order to the Russian Federation.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues to take measures in order to prevent illegal migration to the countries of the European Union through the territory of Ukraine.
There are 150 km of border in Transcarpathia on Hungary, which is not under the border guards’ control, this is a private property. Recently, 5 km of Ukrainian-Hungarian border had been in property. Three years ago 132 hectares, i.e. 34 plots, were distributed and rented nearby the check point Luzhanka. New landlords as if planned to grow corn and nuts on the defensive area with control line and watching towers. Instead, watching boxes and towers were constructed, where dealers with weapon and thermal imagers were on duty day and night. When there were no any border guards nearby, they smuggled illegal migrants and cigarettes to Hungary.
Reaction group of BD “Uzhhorod”, Chop Detachment detained the citizen of Russia. The violator was stopped nearby the border on Slovakia. Protocol was prepared as to the detainee as to Part 1 Article 204 of CCU “Violation or attempt to violate the state border”. Currently, this person is in the Temporary Holding Facility. It should be marked that the violator arrived to Ukraine in the established order. Now, the circumstances of his illegal trip are verified.
The Police officers found the parked car i”Mersedes Vito” n Volovets district. Upon the vehicle’s examination, the law enforcers detected a group of seven illegal migrants without any documents. There were minors and women inside the car. As it was established by the staff of Department on Crimes Combating related with human trafficking, the driver took the passengers in the road of Lviv region. The migrants attempted to exit the region, and then to get to EU. Currently, the persons are under the identification. The passengers of the car “Mersedes Vito” informed that they planned to reach Transcarpathia and then to get abroad – to the European Union. Illegal migrants were delivered to State Migration Service. Police commenced the case on criminal proceeding under Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine (Illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine). The driver assured that he was ready to cooperate in the investigation on persons’ identification and search of the smugglers. The investigation goes on.
Lviv border guards of BD “Shegeni”, Mostytskyi Detachment detained Moldavian walking to Poland beyond the check point. Local residents informed about this person. In order to check information the reaction group started to the place and soon the unknown person was revealed. The man made his way exactly to the border. He had no any documents and introduced himself as the citizen of Moldova, 1992 YOB. He aimed to get to the neighboring country in the search of employment. The foreigner was detained in administrative order for attempt to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine. The case was forwarded to the court.
Citizen of Turkey together with her two children arrived by the flight from Istanbul to the Odessa airport. She provided Turkish passports for control. However, in the course of the verification the inspector doubted in their validity. Upon thorough examination of the documents the traveler confirmed the fact of the personal data forgery on the information page. Moreover, when examining the luggage of the detainee, the law enforcers found three passport documents of the citizens of Iraq belonging to these persons. And these passports were also not good as they contained forged visas of Ukraine. The border guards rejected Iraqi woman to cross the state border, the forged passports were confiscated, real Iraqi passports were stamped with “Ban to enter Ukraine” for three years. The woman and her children were returned by the back flight to Istanbul.
Ukrainian border guards often detain illegal migrants during their attempt to cross the Ukrainian-Russian border. The last case was a successful detection of illegal migrants entered Ukraine from the side of the RF in the area of the check point “Yunakivka”, Sumy Detachment. This time, in the course of information realization the officers of national and personal security of SBGSU detained 12 persons of Asian appearance without any documents – 9 men and 3 women. Currently, there are filtration measures undertaken, the representatives of SSU and National Police are informed.
The officers of State Border Guard Service detained three illegal migrants from Turkey and Armenia attempting to get to the neighboring countries in illegal way. During the night patrolling at the railway station of Uzhhorod the border guards of BD “Uzhhorod”, Chop Detachment revealed and detained two “happiness seekers”. The citizens of Turkey attempted to get to Slovakia. One more illegal migrant was revealed by the staff of Kharkiv Border Department “Dergachi” 5 meters before the state border. It was the citizen of Armenia without any documents. The foreigner crossed the border in the area of the village of Kozach Lopan. Aiming to clarify the circumstances the protocols on administrative infringement was drawn up under the Part 2 Article 204-1 of AICU. The foreigners were delivered to the departments of Border Guard Service.
