Six passengers with forged documents were detected in the airport of Kyiv and Kharkiv

In the airport “Kyiv” during the check in of the passengers travelling to Lubek (Germany), border guards of Separate check point “Kyiv” detained a young man with forged passport of the citizen of Poland.

The page with constituent date was replaced in the document of the bearer. The violator explained that he was the citizen of Syria, however, he presented temporary residence certificate of Ukraine. The forgery costing 900 € was purchased to get to the countries of European Union.

Also, border guards detected false signs of SBGS in the documents of two citizens of Uzbekistan, who arrived from Minsk and Tashkent. They were returned by a return flight.

Two citizens of Georgia intending to depart from Kharkiv to Kutaisi had false signs of the department.  Armenian arrived with the same forgery from Kutaisi. However, the forgeries were detected at once by the border guards of Kharkiv Detachment passing the violators to MOI officers.

In Transcarpathia Refugee Accept Center is ready to accept more than 200 persons

The last events in the Crimea force local residents to leave their homes and towns in urgent way. According to approximate calculations, the number of refugees from the Crimea, volunteered to move to the west of Ukraine after referendum, equals to the number of all resettled persons from the conflict zone during the last three weeks.

The majority of refugees from the Crimea and south-east (Kherson, Zaporozhie) found themselves in Lvov oblast. According to the words of press secretary of Lviv Oblast State Administration (OSA) Uliyana Flyshko, 836 refugees have already settled down. “We are going to meet 1829 persons more; it is in two times more that we have already accepted. There a lot of children among the refugees both Russians and Tatars. However, municipal authority try to assist essentially: place children to kindergartens or schools, provide their parents with all necessary things for life of full value.

Simultaneously, more than two thousand of Lvov oblast have already addressed to “hot line” of OSA with proposal to accept the Crimean guest, and within each day, according to the words of Flyshko, their number is increasing.

The similar “hot line’ is active at Ivano-Frankisvks OSA. As to the words of Ivanna Romanyuk, more than 200 refugees have found shelter in Prykarpattya and about 500 persons called us during the last day asking to help them.

“There are a lot of children, women and older people among the arrived persons. Their families are accepted by the owners of private houses and hotels that are in the very heart of the beauty Carpathians. All Crimeans are examined by the medics, and authority assists in finding work and place in the schools for children”, – Ivanna says.

Bukovyn does not forget about their fellow citizens. Fourteen families from the Crimea found their “second home” was found in Chernivtsi. As we were reported by volunteer Ekaterina Ponomareva: “This is an official figure, they all stay free in hotels or estates. However, we assume that the number of escaped from occupied territory is much more, as some stayed at their relatives or friends and we do not make statistics on them. ”

Refugee Accept Centre operates in Transcarpathia where people ready to accept more than two thousand people. But as Oles Ladyzhets, coordinator of “hot line” mentioned: “no one has addressed us yet.”

About 150 families agreed to shelter refugees in Ternopil oblast. But so far, according to the coordinator Nicholas Severin, only two Russian families from Changara and Kherson arrived at the moment, as well as one Tatar family from Bakhchisarai.

The similar a situation is also Volyn. According to the information of Social Protection Department of OSA of Volyn region, place 1,500 people can be found here, but so far, only one Crimean family applied to get temporary shelter in Volyn.

Russian woman asked political asylum while crossing the state border

The citizen of Russia asked for political asylum while crossing the state border of Ukraine.  The woman travelled to Ukraine. In the course of the border control she addressed to the border guards providing statements about her need in political asylum. Then, she explained that she was the resident of Moscow and also she added that she wished to get refugee status being afraid of pursuit on the territory of Russia.

The staff of Migration Service was informed on this point.

Also, it has been informed before that border guards mark the increase in the number of detentions of the citizens of Russian Federation intending to cross the state border of Ukraine at the borders on European Union since the beginning of 2014. The number of Russians attempting to get to EU has already grown in 3 times. As a rule, persons with RF passports choose Transcarpathian oblast, as there is the border on Hungary and Slovakia.

Nigerian and Guinean travelled to Slovakia, two Georgians – to Hungary

In the course of the monitoring of the state border, border guards of BS “Velykyi Bereznyi” of Chop Detachment detained two men intending to get to Slovakia in illegal way. One of the violators introduced himself as the migrant from Nigeria, the other – from Guinea.

The reaction group of BS “Chop” also apprehended two citizens of Georgia200 m before the state border. The men were travelling to Hungary by railway lines. They had no any documents trying to avoid the border control.

Border guards were detaining the illegal migrants during the day

In the area of BS “Malyi Bereznyi” Ukrainian border guards together with the Slovakian colleagues detained 5 illegal migrants, according to their words – these were the citizens of Afghanistan. Ukrainian border guards detained them at about 03 p.m. Border details were informed at once as well as the colleagues of the neighboring country. In a result border guards of Ukraine detected 2 illegal migrants at the Ukrainian side 50 m before the state border. Three more “seekers” were apprehended 1 km before the border by Slovakian border guards.

Border guards apprehended 33 citizens of Afghanistan and Syria at Ukrainian-Slovakian border

In the conditions of sudden worsening of tension at the state border of Ukraine the subdivisions of SBGS continue to protect the state border in a reinforced regiment not only at the eastern and southern area of the border as well as at other areas of our country.

Thus, border guards of Chop Detachment detained 33 illegal migrants at night, who intended to cross the border by several groups.

Border guards detected one group of the violators while patrolling the state border in the suburb of the village of Onokivtsi, Transcarpathian oblast. After the alarm system went off, the border detail started to the place immediately and apprehended 6 persons 200 m before the state border. They were the citizens of Afghanistan.

Less than in an hour, border guards caught 27 persons more. According to the words of the detainees they did not have any documents, 24 of them were the citizens of Afghanistan and 3 were the migrants from Syria.

So far, the detainees are delivered to border subdivision, the verification is conducted and measures are undertaken on the search of the participated persons and those who smuggled the detained persons.

Transcarpathian Migration Service and Prosecutor’s Office conducted joint trainings

Issues on application of legislation about administrative infringements on protocols preparation has become the principal subject of discussion in the course of the seminar – training of the heads and the staff of territorial subdivisions of Head Administration of State Migration Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian oblast.

Senior public prosecutor on issues of citizens’ rights and interests of the government applying the laws on administrative infringements, Yaroslav Leshenko also participated in the seminar. As it was stated at the seminar, the discussion of the agenda in this circle will allow to increase the professional level of the workers of the service in the field of administrative and law enforcement activity and elaborate the single approaches in practice of present legislation realization.

The participants of the seminar in the form question-answer touched the problem moments arising at preparing protocols by civil servants. Besides, urgent matters were considered at the seminar on undergoing governmental service and some aspects of property, income and obligations of financial character declaring by civil servants for 2013 in accordance with Laws of Ukraine “About civil service” and “About prevention and counteraction to corruption”.

Ukrainians do not run to Russia

In a result of statements appeared about as if thousands Ukrainian refugees in Russian Mass Media, SBGS of Ukraine closed the statistic reporting as to the cross of the state border of Ukraine by the citizens in the course of January-February 2014.

We inform that during the above mentioned period border guars in an established order checked in and passed through the state border to enter Russian Federation almost 890 thousand citizens of Ukraine. Out of them, during January 2014 480 thousand Ukrainians travelled to Russia, and in February 2014 – 405 thousand. At the same time, these indexes are left on the level of the previous year. Thus, in February of the current year, in comparison with January 2014, the number of crosses of the state border by the citizens of Ukraine to depart Russia has decreased in 16%.

Four Syrians with forged passports were detected by the border guards of Kharkiv airport

During the passport control of the flight “Kharkiv-Warsaw” border guards detected 4 citizens of Syria with forged passports of the citizens of Czech Republic.

In the course of thorough examination of the passport documents there were 15 detected signs of the forgery.

As it was established, the citizens of Syria aiming at seeking better life conditions and getting refugee status on the territory of EU decided to get to the countries of Western Europe by air transport. One of the travelers (personality is establishing) via the Internet found the man on the territory of Cyprus, who for money reward in the sum of $16000 made forged documents of the citizens of Czech Republic for the Syrians. They were rejected in crossing the state border of Ukraine, passport documents were confiscated in a specified order.

Poland expects for the massive flow of refugees from Ukraine

Poland makes forecasts about stabilization of situation in the nearest time. It was said by Minister of Interior of Poland, Bartolomei Senkevych, who visited the border regions on Ukraine to examine the readiness of the services in the case of escalation.

“Everything having place till now at the Polish border, including Polish-Ukrainian border, does not witness about the fact that Poland is threatened with massive flow of refugees”, – the Minister said.

“I have an impression that situation in Ukraine will soon calm down, regardless the crisis in the Crimea”, – he marked.

According to data of the press-service, since the beginning of the year 76 citizens of Ukraine have applied for the asylum in Poland.

According to information of Polish Administration on Foreign Affairs, last year such applications were submitted by 50 citizens of Ukraine (in 2012 – about 70).

Informational Agency reports that Polish authority have prepared 5 thousand places, in particular at the health retreats and schools in the border regions on Ukraine, the areas which can be used to accept Ukrainian refugees.

Simultaneously, Senkevych also marks that there is no need now to use them as polish does not fix the flow of people at the border on Ukraine.
