Two Africans on the way to Switzerland stucked at the border of Transcarpathia

Border detail of BS “Palad Komarivtsi” of Chop Detachment noticed two unfamiliar persons some metres before the border on Slovakia. The group of reaction started immediatedly to meet the travelers. Stopping the man and woman, law enforcement agents established that they did not have any documents. Detainees told that they were of 1981 and 1990 year of birth and they arrived from Eritrea. They departed because of complicated financial state in the country of permanent residence. However, they did not have any possibility of legal entrance to Switzerland and the addressed for assistance to unknown persons in the country of origin. The smugglers agreed to help them for $8000 get to one f the countries of European Union and made for them qualitative forged passports. However, they did not fulfill their promises.

Detainees were delivered to border subdivision for clarification of the circumstances of the infringement and drawing administrative and procedural documents.

Moldavian wanted to cross the border on her husband’s passport

Border guards of Belgorod-Dnistrovskyi Detachment prevented three cases of crossing the Ukrainian state border according to the forged documents.

Thus, 17-year-old Moldavian intended to get to Ukraine with the passport of his brother. He was stopped by the border guards in the check point “Rozalivka”.

Two more women from Moldova were apprehended in the check point “Kuchurgan”. One of the detainees, 38-year-old citizen of the neighboring country could not explain the appearance of her daughter’s documents. And 52-year-old Moldavian going by car “Mercedes” presented for the check the passport of his husband. The woman explained her fault as the following – she opened the page with information about her children and did not pay attention to one with her personal data.

After processing the administrative protocols as to the detained citizens there is a court that will make legal decision according to the violators.

Ukrainian intended to cross Ukrainian-Slovakia border two timed for a day

Trying to get over the barrage fence in the direction towards Ukrainian-Slovakian border, the citizen of Ukraine was apprehended by the border guards of Chop Detachment. The man had just certificate on return to Ukraine issued in CzechRepublic. According to the words of the detainee, he wanted to get to European Union avoiding the check point. After processing the administrative and procedural documents, the man was released until the case consideration in the court. However, in some hours, the border detail of BS “Onokovtsi” detained one more violator in the same direction after alarm system went off. The traveler was stopped 100 m before the border. As it was established soon, it was the same man detained by the border guards at noon and he was released until the court decision. However, Ukrainian did not leave his hope to get the countries of EU and not waiting for the sentence started again from Ukraine to Slovakia.

Chief of State Border Service of Ukraine met with chief of Department of Slovakian Border Police

The meeting of Mykola Lytvyn and Lyudovita Biro, Chief Border Authorities of Ukraine and SlovakianRepublic was hold. The meeting took place in Bratislava. The chiefs of border departments analyzed the state and development of situation at the joint border and exchanged with information of unlawful activity. In the course of the discussions, the head of State Border Service and chief of Department of Border Police and Police on Foreigners’ Affairs of Presidium of Police Corpus of Slovakian Republic stated that due to realization of taken joint measures in 2013, the number of illegal migrants intending to cross the state border illegally had lessened. Besides, it was mentioned that there had been decrease in the number of detained citizens from such countries as Somalia, Bangladesh and Moldova.

Aiming at further development of cooperation, in the end of the meeting, the parties signed Agreement between Administration of SBS of Ukraine and MOI of Slovakian Republic about the joint patrolling of Ukrainian-Slovakian border. The head border authorized persons stressed upon that introduction of joint patrolling would promote security of Ukrainian-Slovakian state border. The next meeting is planed to take place in Ukraine in 2014.

Russian man had three documents issued to three different persons

Border guards of Simferopol Detachment apprehended a violator with forged passport and driving licenses. The man was walking through the check point “Crimea” and presented his passport of the citizen of Ukraine. However, border detail of BS “Kerch” examining thoroughly the document, noticed the signs of its partial falsification. Thus, a decision was made to check “the traveler” in depth. During the inspection of the stuff, border-custom inspection group found forged Ukrainian driving licenses and passport of the citizen of Russian Federation. As it was established soon, the Russian passport was valid. All other documents were issued to different surnames, but with the same photos. For attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine illegally detainee is brought to responsibility in administrative order. He will also have to provide explanations to MOI staff as to usage of forged documents. Now, the complicity in other possible unlawful actions is ascertained.

Navigator did not help student from Syria to get from Transcarpathia to EU secretly

Border guards of BS “Velykyi Bereznyi” of Chop Detachment detained the citizen of Syria.

Unfamiliar person was detected with the help of mobile thermal device some meters before the state border. As it was established, detained man did not have documents, and during the interview he mentioned his place of birth as Damask. The young man also explained that he had arrived to Ukraine already in 2010 for studies to one of universities of Odessa. In consequence of means lack, he stopped studying and started to work. Besides, 28-year-old Syrian told that he arrived by taxi to the border area, and he wanted to cross the border orienting upon the navigation program in the mobile phone. However, he did not succeed to get over the mountains and woods, because border detail apprehended the violator.

Border guards of Hungary and Transcarpathia will patrol the border jointly

In Budapest, the chairman of State Border Service of Ukraine, Nikolay Litvin met with the deputy chief of Hungarian Police, the chief of law enforcement Directorate, Zholt Halmosh.  In the course of the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of cooperation and coordination of joint efforts to ensure the security at the border. Agreements were reached to carry out patrolling of the common border by the representatives of State Border Service of Ukraine and Hungarian Police. Also, the chiefs of border departments had a talk about cooperation in people and transport’s passing through both sides of the border. Hungarian nationalists have their own demands as to Association of Ukraine with EU.

Migrant from Syria intended to get to Lviv twice

In the course of some days border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment detained the violator of the border two times, who tried to get to Ukraine. Migrant from Syria, having documents of stateless person of the Netherlands, was detained in the “green” area of the border by the border guards of BS “Krakivets” in Lviv oblast. Soon, it was established that before he had already tried to get to Ukraine beyond the check point “Krakivets”. However, he did not have any corresponding documents for this. The foreigner explained that he wished so much to get the city of Lviv. According to the court’s decision he was called to administrative responsibility for the committed infringement in the form of 10 days arrest. After service of sentence by the detainee, he will be handed to Polish border guards in the order of readmission.

Google maps took Georgians to Transcarpathian border guards

In the frames of realization of special actions on counteraction to illegal migration, border guards of Chop Detachment detained the next happiness seekers, who intended to get to EU.

Two men were walking along the border of Transcarpathia in the direction to Slovakia. The border guards of BS “Uzhgorod” detected them long before. When unfamiliar persons came closer to the state border in the distance of about 500 m, border detail conducted the detention. The detainees introduced themselves as citizens of Georgia, but they could not confirm this by absence of the documents. They also reported that they made their way to Slovakia, from where they planned to get to Great Britain. By the way, on men’s confession they planned their route through Ukrainian-Slovakian border with the help of Internet Service Google maps.

The trespassers were delivered to subdivision aiming at clarification of the circumstances of the infringement and processing administrative and procedural documents. Decision on responsibility before the law and further destiny of the detainees will be defined by the court.

Two Pseudo Turks were detected in the airport of Lviv

Border guards of Lviv Detachment detected two men with forged documents at the international airport “Lviv”. The violators were detected among the passengers arrived from Istanbul. Passports for travelling abroad of the citizens of Turkey, presented by the travelers during the control, became immediately suspicious for the border detail as well as the behavior of the men was rather nervous. After conducting a very detail studying of the documents and interviewing the bearers of the documents, law enforcement agents learned that the passports of the citizens of Turkey contained signs of partial forgery. The very detainees confessed that in reality they were the citizens of Syria.
