Syrian arrived to Ukraine with forged documents

In the airport Boryspil during the check-in of the passengers from Istanbul, border guards of separate check point “Kyiv” detected 24-yer-old man, who presented partially forged passport of the citizen of Syria for control. The man explained that he intended to study in Ukraine, however the term of his document expired and he addressed for help to his relative that made false his passport. At the present moment Syrian is returned to the country of departure.

Some of the foreigners, as a rule from countries of Southern-Eastern Asia and Africa, use invitations for studies as occasion to get to Ukraine officially having then quite other plans. Besides, foreigners often try to get to Ukraine with the help of illegally received student documents and registration of their passport in Ukraine beforehand, yet before entering the territory of the country.

Generally, since the beginning of the year officers of State Border Service of Ukraine detected 87 forged documents just in the airport Boryspil.

Citizen of Turkey paid € 3000 for the passport of Bulgarian to get to Germany

The citizen of Turkey paid € 3000 for forged passport to get to Germany. But his intentions were not realized, he was detained by the officers of State Border Service in the airport of Odessa.

In the course of the control of the persons arrived from Istanbul, border guards paid attention to a man, who presented passport for travelling abroad belonging to the citizen of Bulgaria. Carrying out thorough examination of the document, border guards established that it was partially forged – another information and photo was on the page with constituent data. The very man was 42-year-old citizen of Turkey. According to his words, the Bulgarian passport he bought in Istanbul for € 3000 and intended to get Germany in order to be employed.

At the present moment, the man is forbidden to enter Ukraine for the term of 3 years and he is sent back by a return flight to the country of departure.

Police surrounded and detained illegal migrants from Armenia

In the course of operative and preventive actions, officers of Department of Police Migration Control of MOI of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region together with the representatives of BS “Luzhanka” of Mukachevo Border Detachment apprehended two men without documents attesting their personalities. The migrants, naming themselves as the citizens of Armenia, were detected nearby border line in the village Astey, Berehovo district. Detainees were handed over to representatives of Mukachevo Border Detachment in order to establish their personalities and circumstances due to which they got to the territory of Ukraine. The control is also carried out to establish the circle of persons that could be involved in staying of these illegal migrants in the region.

Luhansk border guards apprehended six illegal migrants

Six travellers from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Eritrea were apprehended by the border guards of BS “Sverdlovsk” of Luhansk Detachment.

Border guards stopped 24-year-old Ukrainian during the control of the state border, who transported three travellers without documents. It was established that two detainees, one of whom was a woman, were migrants from Eritrea, and one more man was the resident of Pakistan. Soon in the course of searching actions in the suburb of the village Sverdlovsk, border detail detained one more citizen of Eritrea and two citizens of Afghanistan. Our country fellow, the resident of Luhansk region, also decided to lift these citizens.

According to the explanations of all detainees, they travelled in the search of better fate. A criminal case was commenced by the chief of Luhansk Border Detachment against two Ukrainians who are suspected in illegal transportation of persons through the state border.

Afghans intended to force through Transcarpathia to Slovakia

Border guards of BS “Velykyi Bereznyi” of Chop Detachment stopped two attempts of illegal cross of the state border in Transcarpathia.

Due to presence of leading information received from local residents, four men were apprehended at the approaches to the state border. When detainees were apprehended they did not have any documents, which could attest their personalities and named themselves as minor citizens of Afghanistan. Detainees also confirmed their intention to get illegally to Slovakia, from where they planed to reach France.

Some hours earlier the watchfulness of the border guards of the same subdivision “was checked” by a woman and a man, citizens of Ukraine who tried to get to Slovakia beyond the check point. Detainees were a sister and brother, they named Italy as the point of their destination as they wished to find some job there.

In both cases, violators were delivered to subdivisions in order to establish the circumstances of the infringement and process administrative and procedural documents.

At the present moment, they wait for the court decision that will define the measure of their punishment.

Kherson official turned illegal migrants into refugees for fee

Agents of SSU have recently arrested the official of State Migration Service in Kherson region, who helped illegal migrants to get to Ukraine.

In the course of almost two years, an administrator of one of the departments of SMS in Kherson region issued illegally documents to migrants from Afghanistan and Africa. All “guests” of the country were granted refugee status with a helping hand of her. On this purpose they had to arrive to Ukraine to process documents – everything was done by enterprising state servicewoman for a definite fee. “Honorarium” of suspected woman comprised from $2 to 5 thousand.

The official not only unlawfully executed all necessary documents but also provided “clients” with travel documents for them to cross the state border of Ukraine without difficulty. SSU officers apprehended the woman, when she intended to take 150 personal cases of the refugees out of administrative building, – probably to destruct and conceal the crime.

Iraqi was apprehended in Odessa airport trying to cross the border with forged passport twice

In the check point “Odessa” border guards of Odessa Detachment apprehended the citizen of Iraq. The man of 44 years old planned to depart by a flight “Odessa-Istanbul”. However, border detail detected the change of informational page in the passport at once. The trespasser explained that this document was as if passed by his mother from Kuwait. Besides, it was also established that this citizen had already been detained before for the same violation in the summer of the current year. The citizen of Iraq was also making his way to Turkey using the forged passport.

Administrative materials were worked out against the detainee and were directed to Malyniv District Court of the city of Odessa.

Citizen of Costa Rica intended “to slip” through airport “Boryspil” with forged document

In the airport “Boryspil” during the check-in of the passengers arrived from Moscow, border guards of separate check point “Kyiv” detained 52-year-old man. He presented for control a completely forged passport document of the Republic of Costa Rica. The violator explained that he received this forged document while staying in Russian Federation. In order to confirm the citizenship he presented a certificate about residence in Ukraine. However, there was no any document permitting him to cross the border, the citizen of Costa Rica was sent back by a return flight to the country of departure.

Smugglers of 9 Afghans to Hungary are condemned in Transcarpathia

Appeal Court of Transcarpathian region has left the sentence of Uzhgorod Municipal District Court without changes concerning five local residents, who in 2011 smuggled illegal migrants through the state border of Ukraine.

It was established that in January 2011, the malefactors (former border guards and worker of State Auto-mobile Inspection were among them) agreed to participate in illegal transportation of 9 Afghans through Ukrainian-Hungarian state border.

Police agents clarified that the members of the criminal grouping provided illegal migrants with the transportation, residence, meals and direct delivery to border line, where then they had to be smuggled beyond the check points through the state border to Hungary.

The malefactors decided to transport migrants from Afghanistan through the state border by small groups.

In the end of January 2011, SSU officer detained two cars with foreigners and accompanied persons nearby the village Velykaya Dobron, Uzhgorod district.

Transcarpathian SSU officers commenced a criminal case against the participants of illegal transportation in accordance with Part 2 Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine commenced due to the preliminary agreement).

By the court sentence, five malefactors were recognized as guilty and were appointed the punishment in the form of 3 years of imprisonment with probation term from 1 to 3 years to each.

Group of illegal migrants from Georgia, Sri Lanka and Algeria were detained at the border

In the area of BS “Milove” of Luhansk Detachment, border guards apprehended a group of illegal migrants from Georgia. Travellers were stopped by law enforcement agents 50 m before the border between Russian village Chertkove and Ukrainian one Milove. Three men and a woman were probably planning to get to Ukraine very quickly as they were dressed quite in summer clothes. A smuggler, citizen of Russia, was also detained together with them.

The same day border guards of BS “Vovchansk” together with the reaction group of mobile frontier post “Dergachi” of Kharkiv Detachment apprehended two men and a woman in the suburb of the village Staryi Sylkiv. All detainees were citizens of Sri Lanka. Travellers were even glad to meet border guards because they got lost in the forest after they had been left by the smuggler.

Two more illegal migrants, de bene esse citizens of Algeria, were caught by the border guards of Chop Detachment. The men had just arrived by the train “Lviv-Solotvyno” to Chop railway station. They did not have any documents, but they informed that they were the students of one of Ukrainian higher universities. Now the checking measures are conducted.
