Border guards of BD “Vilok” detained illegal migrants from South Asia according to the information provided by the operational staff of the State Border Guard Service. Two men without documents were found by law enforcers at the hotel in Vinogradov. During the initial interview the foreigners reported that one of them was a citizen of Bangladesh, another – from Pakistan. Both foreigners intended to cross illegally the state border and enter the countries of the European Union. For further performance of filtration measures and administrative documents draft under the Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the AICU, detained persons were taken to the department of BD “Vylok”. Measures are being taken to establish the circle of persons involved in the organization of illegal travel. The further destiny of the travellers will be determined by the court. Otherwise, the border guards of BD “Tysa”, Chop Department, detained a citizen of Russia attempting to cross the border avoiding the checkpoint. The violator left only 30 meters to cross the state border line. The detainee was taken to the Temporary Detention Facility in order to determine the circumstances of the offense. Border guards drew up a protocol under the Article. 204-1 of AICU. Afterwards, the case will be considered by the court.
Another illegal migrant was arrested by the border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment. The detail of BD “Krakivets” stopped a citizen of Turkey 400 meters from the border, who tried to move to Poland avoiding proper control. As in the situation with Russians – this violator came to Ukraine quite legally – through one of the checkpoints, but his subsequent actions entailed administrative responsibility stipulated in the Article 204-1 of AICU. The case will be considered in court, the detainee will have to wait at the Temporary Detention Facility.
