Border guards detained two citizens of Bangladesh near the border on Poland

Two illegal migrants were detained late in the evening last night by the border guards of Lviv Detachment near the border on Poland.

The offenders intending to cross the border illegally were detected in the result of information received from the employees of the operational divisions of SBGS. The undocumented men travelling towards the state border in night twilight were stopped 1,5 kilometers before the border by the border detail of Department “Rava-Ruska”.

So far, the detainees introducing themselves as the citizens of Bangladesh were taken to the border department with the purpose to perform filtration-verification measures and draw up administrative and procedural documents.

Twelve Vietnamese were detained in Slovakia, being missed by Transcarpathian border guards

As it is informed by Slovakian colleagues, the illegal migrants were caught on January 11 in the Border village Lekarovtse located closed to Uzhhorod. This area is under the responsibility of the Chop Border Detachment. Slovakian law enforcers marked that the group of undocumented illegal migrants crossed unlawfully the EU border. Thus, they were detained, and then deported from the country being banned to enter Slovakia legally as well as other EU member countries. It will be mentioned that Slovakian border guards detain illegal migrants on regular basis, which are not met by Transcarpathian officers.

Four illegal immigrants from Turkey were detained in the mountains at the border on Poland

The border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment detained four citizens of Turkey who were trying to cross illegally the border on Poland.

Thus, the district inspector of BD “Lopushanka” in Lviv region received a call from an inhabitant of one of the villages of the border area and reported about four unidentified people to be seen near the border. The border guards started the search and soon the reaction group found four citizens of Turkey, 400 meters before the state border. Three men had passports, and one of them had no any.

The violators were detained by law enforcers in the administrative order and draw up the documents as of the case on administrative offense. The decision in the case concerning their attempts to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine will be made by the court.

Three violators of the state border and their guide were detained by the border guards of Kharkiv Detachment

Last night the border guards of BD “Kozacha Lopan” received information from the local inspector of the Border Guard Service about a group of unknown persons moving towards the RF border. Several minutes later, the border patrol together with the district inspector detained “explorers” trying to cross illegally the border from Ukraine at a distance of 200 meters. Two detainees were the citizens of Georgia, one of Azerbaijan being accompanied by the citizen of Ukraine.

After fixation of the offense signs these persons were delivered to the border subdivision for drawing up administrative and procedural documents.

Concerning the Georgians and Azerbaijani protocols were prepared according to Article 204-1 of AICU “Illegal cross or attempt to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine”, and our country fellow will have to bear the liability under Article 332 of the Crime Code “Illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine”, a corresponding statement about detection of criminal offense signs was sent to the National police.

Violators of border legislation were apprehended in Transcarpathian and Lviv regions

The border detail of BD “Velykyi Bereznyi”, Chop Detachment, detained 4 citizens of Vietnam during the implementation of operative information received in advance in the course of joint patrol with Slovak colleagues in the neighboring areas, close to the state border on the territory of Ukraine. All men did not have any passport documents.

The detainees were delivered to border subdivision for carrying out filtration-verification measures and establish the circumstances of the offense. In addition, the established procedure was applied to the foreigners under Part 2 Article 204-1 of the AICU “Illegal cross or attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine illegally”.

Besides, over the past day the district inspector of BD “Shegeni”, Mostytskyi Detachment received information from a local resident of Lviv region about the movement of two unidentified persons in the direction of the state border. A reaction group was immediately sent to the specified direction to verify the received information, in order to conduct the search and detention of unknown persons. As a result, during the search operations near the border line 2 citizens of Iran were detained having passports.

Currently, the detainees are taken to the Department for the purpose to establish the circumstances of the offense. In addition, the protocols were drawn up in accordance with the Part 2 Article 204-1 of the AICU “Illegal cross or attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine illegally”.

Citizen of Moldova hoped to get to Poland beyond the checkpoints

The border guards detained a man trying to bypass the checkpoint “Krakovets” and illegally cross the Ukrainian-Polish border.

Information about the offender was presented to “green berets” by the residents of border villages, who noticed how the stranger walked towards the border on Poland. Detainee was a citizen of Moldova, born in 1990.

The foreigner was detained in the administrative order. For attempt of illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine, he is threatened with a fine of up to two hundred free minimums of the citizens’ income.

Citizen of Nigeria tried to run past the passport control booths in Boryspil Airport

The citizen of Nigeria was detained last night at the checkpoint “Boryspil” by the border guards of Separate checkpoint “Kyiv” during his attempt to avoid the border control. The man went on a flight to Istanbul, but during the passenger passport control the foreigner tried to avoid checking and ran past the passport booth.

The person was immediately detained by the border guards; he was brought to administrative responsibility for violation of border regime and attempt to cross the border illegally. The case is forwarded to court.

Border guards stopped 3 Turks, a Syrian and an Algerian during attempt of illegal border crossing

Tonight the border guards of Chop Detachment stopped three foreigners at the checkpoint “Chop-railway station». While checking 3 Turkish citizens, who were going to leave Ukraine, the border guards discovered forged passports. In particular, the pages with constituent data and forged signs of SBGS were revealed in the documents of husband, wife and their 3-year-old child. The foreigners traveled by train to Vienna. Currently, the persons are detained for up to 3 days to ascertain the circumstances of the offense.

Uzhhorod Police Department in the Transcarpathian region sent a statement about detected signs of criminal offenses stipulated by the Article 358 of the Crime Code of Ukraine (Falsification of documents, seals, stamps and forms, their sale, use of forged documents). It should be noted that the foreigners arrived by valid foreign passports of citizens of Turkey to Ukraine.

Also, tonight and last night in Lviv oblast and Bukovyn the border guards detained 2 illegal migrants who were planning to cross the border on EU countries at the “green border”. The border guards of BD “Pavlovychi”, Lviv Detachment detained a citizen of Syria 50 meters before the border on Poland.

And the border guards BD “Cherepkivka”, Chernivtsi Detachment according to the information given by local inspector of the Border Guard Service, the citizen of Algeria was stopped 200 meters before the border line on Romania.

Both foreigners were without documents. The protocol was drawn up as for both foreigners with regard to their attempt to cross illegally the border. Currently, they are kept in Temporary Detention Facility.

State Border Guard Service actively counteracts illegal migration

The State Border Guard Service continues applying systematic measures to combat illegal migration across the border. On the New Year Eve the border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment prevented the illegal cross of the state border of Ukraine in two cases by 8 illegal migrants.

Two Turkish citizens and 6 citizens of Vietnam, which probably intended to cross the border and to reach countries in Western Europe, was detained by employees of Department of a border service “Krakovets” and “Sianky”.

Thus, the district inspector of BD “Krakovets” bordering on Poland, received information from the inhabitants of the borderland about the appearance of the foreigners with non-Slavic appearance coming to the village by the car. Checking the message, inspector together with members of the public formation for the state border protection organized detail check of the vehicles on the specified road in the border line. Soon the above mentioned car was stopped. The car of Polish registration was driven by a citizen of Azerbaijan, who had no any documents, with the 2 passengers – Turkish citizens – having passport documents. The border guards detained the foreigners and draw up administrative materials concerning the attempt of the citizens of Turkey to cross the state border of Ukraine illegally. Protocol for border regime break was drawn up concerning the citizen of Azerbaijan; correspondingly the employees of National Police were informed on this point. In addition, the question concerning his possible involvement in organizing the illegal cross of the Turks across the border is under investigation.

And tonight, the border detail of BD “Syanky” stopped the car of Bulgarian registration on the road Lviv-Uzhhorod at the checkpoint on the border of Lviv and Transcarpathian regions. The car was driven by 37-year-old Ukrainian, a resident of Zhytomyr region, having the passengers sin the car, who were 6 citizens of Vietnam without any documents. Both the driver and passengers were detained, the actions of the Ukrainian was seen as an administrative offense under article 206-1 of the AICU “Illegal transportation of foreigners and stateless persons on the territory of Ukraine”. The citizens of Vietnam will be brought to justice according to article 204-1 of “Illegal cross or attempt to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine” (committed by a group of persons).

In addition, border detail of BD “Pavlovychi”, Lviv Detachment stopped two cars of Polish and Lithuanian registration at the checkpoint road Pisochne Shykhtari, Lviv region, near the state border of Ukraine.

By these vehicles Ukrainian and Georgian, being documented, were carrying 1 citizen of Ukraine, 1 citizen of the Russian Federation and 10 citizens of Vietnam. Our country fellow and the Russian had documents, and the citizens of Vietnam, including 7 men and 3 women, did not have any passport documents. The persons were taken to border department. Verification activities continue.

The citizen of Turkey, who had twice tried to get to Slovakia illegally, was detained yesterday afternoon by the border guards of Chop Detachment. The offender was managed to stop due to the information obtained in a timely manner by the district inspector of the BD “Onokivtsi” from a local resident, who reported that a stranger of Asian appearance was noticed in the bus “Kamyanitsa-Uzhhorod”. The border guards checked the bus and found a 35-year-old Turk.

As it turned out, a month ago, the border guards detained this citizen for his attempt to break the border near the village of Huta. He was then issued a decision on forced return, under which the offender was obliged to leave the territory of Ukraine. However, the foreigner failed to keep these requirements; he exceeded the permitted period of stay on the territory of Ukraine and tried to cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border again.

He was taken to the border department for carrying out filtration measures and preparation of the relevant procedural documents. After clarification of all circumstances he will be brought to administrative responsibility under part 2 of article 204-1 of the AICU “Illegal cross or attempt to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine”.

Lviv border guards revealed two Moroccans planning to get to EU

The staff of SBGSU detained the organizer of illegal migrants’ smuggling – the citizens of Sudan, who organized the movement of their compatriots across the border. However, as it was established by the operative agents, the man was not limited by the preparation for one person to cross illegally the state border.

In the course of the investigative actions within criminal proceedings according to the classification Part 2 Art. 332 Crime Code of Ukraine, the operative agents of the Western regional department received information about the group of illegal migrants. Further on, a joint team at the participation of the employees of Operative-searching department, the servicemen of the Lviv Border Detachment and the staff of Migration Service of Ukraine discovered two more potential illegal migrants – citizens of Morocco, who were without documents in a private house in the city of Lviv. According to the foreigners’ words, they planned to get illegally to one of the countries of European Union.

The foreigners were taken to Border Guard Department in Lviv region, where they were brought to administrative responsibility according to Art. 203 of AICU, as well as the decision was made on forced return of migrants during 15 days and the prohibition of entry to Ukraine over the next 3 years.
