Passenger train “Kyiv-Warsaw” arrived to the check point “Yagoryn” to exit Ukraine at night. During border control, the border guards of Lutsk Detachment revealed someone’s passport in the stuff of one passenger. In the course of document verification it was established that passport provided for border control did not belong to its bearer. The man presented the passport of the citizen of Ghana, however, of another person. Afterwards, he provided his real passport document of the citizen of Ghana. He intended to use someone’s passports in order to cross illegally the state border. His case will be considered in the court.

Passport documents not belonging to the bearers were found by the border guards in the Boryspil Airport. During identification the border guards doubted in appurtenance of these passport documents to the persons provided them. Two citizens of Iran attempted to use someone’s passports, who travelled by transit to Stockholm. When performing passport control the border guards established that the foreigners used the passports of French citizens. Later on, in the course of the interview the women reported that they bought these documents of French citizens for $30 000. So far, they will be returned by a back flight to Ankara.

Special frontier operation “Border-2017” continues in Bukovyn providing positive outcome. Thus, the border guards of BD ”Krasnoylsk”, Chernivtsi Detachment, detained 5 illegal migrants attempting to cross Ukrainian-Romanian border in illegal way. When verifying operative information about possible unlawful activity at the border, the border detail detected a group of persons at night moving towards Romania. During detention, the foreigners did not put up resistance and did not manage to escape; as they got lost and oriented themselves not well in the mountainous wooded locality. None of the detainees had documents. Soon, it was established that all detainees were the citizens of Turkey. Currently, all circumstances of the infringement are examined.

Two illegal migrants were detained close to Ukrainian-Polish border by the border guards of SBGSU in the frames of operation “Border 2017”. Information about appearance of unknown persons in the suburb of the village Rata was received by the border guards from the local residents. During information verification the border guards of BD “Rava-Ruska”, Lviv Detachment detained 2 men without any documents. According to their words, it was managed to establish that they were the citizens of Syria, who intended to get to EU countries. Detained citizens were delivered to border subdivision to clarify the circumstances of the infringement and drawing up administrative documents.

Besides, the border guards of Lviv Detachment did not let 7 Russians, natives of Chechnya, to pass the check point “Rava-Ruska”. The foreigners were not passed because of their non-confirmation of their goal to stay within the territory of Ukraine. However, the mentioned persons attempted to cross the border again in the evening in the check point “Shegeni”, Lviv region. Thus, the border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment rejected in their entrance as they failed to provide any goal of their trip.

Border guards of BD “Sopych”, Sumy Detachment, apprehended a violator of the state border of Ukraine. Border patrol servicing close to the state border detected and detained the trespasser, who crossed the border from Russia. He walked beyond the check points. The man did not have any documents identifying his personality and introduced himself as the citizen of Moldova. Currently, the citizen is detained for identification, after he will be called to administrative responsibility for illegal cross of the state border.

The staff of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in cooperation with Polish border guards continues jointly counteracting the unlawful activity at the state border. Thus, in the frames of measures undertaken on state border control the border guards of BD “Rava-Ruska”, Lviv Detachment, received information from Polish colleagues as to two persons moving walking at the border. Aiming not to admit the state border cross the reaction group started to the place immediately. In a result of operative cooperation at the specified direction, the law enforcers detained two undocumented persons. According to their words they were the migrants from Syria. Interactive Subdivision were informed on this point, corresponding administrative documents were drawn up as to the violators.

Group of illegal migrants was apprehended at night at Ukrainian-Polish border by the staff of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the frames of final active phase of operation “Border-2017”.  Information about unknown persons appearance in the border area of Lviv region was received by the border guards of Operative Searching Department beforehand. In the course of information realization the staff of BD “Rava-Ruska”, Lviv Detachment, detained 6 undocumented persons nearby the border. These were 5 citizens of Bangladesh and 1 citizen of Comoro Islands. They made their way beyond the check point in the direction to border line along the railway. Detainees were delivered to Border Department to clarify the circumstances of the infringement and establish possible concerned persons and prepare administrative documents.

In Transcarpathia, border guards of BD “Guta”, Chop Detachment, also detained 2 citizens of India close to the border due to information received from operative staff of SBGSU. The violators were stopped in the suburb of the village Onokivtsi, Uzhgorod district, Transcarpathia, corresponding documents were drawn up.

Besides, border guards have established that these persons were detained a month ago by the border guards of Chop Detachment. Currently, illegal migrants are kept in Temporary Detention Facility. The cases are forwarded to the court.

Border guards of Separate Check Point “Kyiv” revealed passport documents not belonging to the bearers in the International Airport Boryspil. When performing passport control, besides during persons’ identification, the border guards had doubts in belonging this passport documents to persons provided them. In the course of verification it was established that two citizens of Iran arrived by the flight “Istanbul-Kyiv” and “Erevan-Kyiv” planned to present partially forged document of Turkish citizen. In addition, when performing filtration actions, it was clarified that the citizen, who had to get the forgery and use it in future to depart to Great Britain, paid for these services $20 ths.

In both cases, the persons were returned by the back flight.

The staff of State Border Guard Service continues actively using drone aircrafts in border guarding by means of which they repeatedly detaine offenders. In the frames of a joint special border operation “Border 2017”, the border guards of BD  “Kodyma”, Podolsky Detachment detained a trespasserwith the help of copter. Unknown person made his way from the territory of Moldova and crossed the border in the direction to Ukrainian village Shershentsi. Regarding the detained citizen of Moldova, the members of the State Border Guard Service prepared documents on administrative proceedings, and the court sentenced him a fine in the amount of 1700 UAH.

Several groups of Vietnamese were apprehended in Transcarpathia at night by Ukrainian and Slovakian border guards in the course of measures performed on counteraction to illegal migrants’ transportation over the border. Slovakian colleagues informed about appearance of some persons nearby the border. In a result of organized searches at both sides of the border, the officers of two countries detected and detained several groups in the number of 15 persons. As it was established by detainees’ words, there were 10 men and 5 women, they arrived from Vietnam and made their way to EU in the search of some job. The searches of other possible violators go on, who might were together with the detainees and persons involved in their smuggling.
