Border guards did not pass Turkish citizen to flight to Talin by forged passport

Border detail revealed a document containied forgery signs in one of the passengers during the check in for one of the flies to Talin in Boryspil Airport. Upon document investigation, the border guards established that the page with constituent data in the passport of Romanian citizen was replaced. 28-year-old citizen of Turkey planned to use this false document. Also, border guards clarified that this person arrived ti Ukraine in established order by passport for travelling abroad of the citizen of Turkey. Materials on administrative infringement were draw up as to the violator.

Hungary will hold all refugees in closed transit zones

The Parliament of Hungary has passed the bill due to which all refugees in the country shall be automatically placed to closed transit zones without a right to leave them.  The law adopted by the overwhelming majority of Hangarian Parliament deputies on March 7, provides that all applicants for asylum aariving to the country as well as refugees still staying within the territory of Hungary shall be placed to the camps located at the southern borders of the country. They will prohibited to move along the territory of Hungary or leave the country until their application asylum granting are under consideration by the competent bodies of the country.

“In future illegal migrants will have to expect for the verdict as to asylum provision in special transit zone at the border” – it is said in the adopted law by Hungarian Parliament.

This document restore the practice of refugees’ actual imprisonment in Hungary, which was suspended in 2013 through press of Brussels, UNO Agency on refugees’ issues and European Human Rights Court. In February 2917, the international human rights organization Amnesty International criticized the Hungary’s plans calling them as ignoring the major principles of EU and violating the human rights.

Border guards detained Moroccan in Uzhok pass

Law enforcers detained an African at the Ukrainian-Polish border, who aimed to reach the Western Europe in illegal way.

When checking public regular bus at the check point “Uzhok”, located at the border of Lviv and Transcarpathian regions, the border guards of BD “Syanky”, Mostyskyi Detachment detained a Moroccan having no any documents. Documents were drafted  as to the citizen’s administrative infringement on violation of border regime. Moreover, it turned out that the African had stayed  in Ukraine for a long time, documents, identifying his personality were lost, and he made his way to Uzhgorod to try crossing the illegally the state borderof Ukraine and thus reaching the Western Europe. All previous explanations that he was a student of one of the Ukrainian universities of Ukraine had not been confirmed, but the actions of the detainee were established as an administrative offense under the Article 204-1 CAO “Illegal cross or attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine.”

Moroccan is currently detained in administrative order for his identification, decision on the case will be made by the court.

Transcarpathian border guards apprehended undocumented Asian

Border guards of Chop detachment detained the citizen of India in the course of verification actions. The law enforcers detected 20-year-old Asian nearby the railway station, who had no any documents identifying his personality and legality of his stay within Ukraine. As it is established, the young man studies in one of the higher educational institutions in Kyiv. According to his explanations, he arrived to Transcarpathia to visit his brother. Upon preparing corresponding procedural documents, the detainee was delivered to Temporary Detention Centre of Chop Detachment to identify and bring to administrative responsibility.

The citizens of Vietnam and Uzbekistan attempted to bribe the staff of State Border Guard Service

Vietnamese citizen attempted to bribe a border guard of Odessa Detachment in Odessa Airport during the border control of passengers for the flight “Istanbul-Odessa”. Vietnamese citizen arrived to Odessa with his family, all family members had legal basis for unobstracted crossing of the state border of Ukraine. But the family head believed that his child being the citizen of Ukraine would not allowed to enter Ukraine, as he had only a birth certificate and not a passport. Thus, he decided to put the bribe in his passport, in amount of 400 UAH, which he handed to the border inspector USD 400.

Another foreigner, a citizen of Uzbekistan, tried to bribe border patrol of Lugansk Border Detachment. The woman arrived at the checkpoint “Prosyane”, but during the border control and clarification of her arrival purpose to Ukraine, she offered to border guards the bribe in amount 1000 RUR. Obviously, thus, the citizen intended to cross the state border of Ukraine in order to extend the term of foreigner registration in the neighboring country.

The border guards refused from the proposed remuneration. The fact on giving illegal reward was fixed in the established order. The police was informed about crime commitment as to the signs of the Art.369 of Crime Code of Ukraine “Offer, promise or giving illegal  advantage to the officer” informed the police.

Border guards revealed forged passport in the Boryspil Airport

Border guards of Separate Checkpoint revealed forged passport of Israel citizen in the Boryspil Airport. The foreigner intended to get to the flight “Kyiv-London”. The man presented his passport for control, where the staff of State Border Guard Service detected the signs of forgery, namely – replacement of page with constituent data. In the course of the interview it was established that this person, seeker of “better life”, was the citizen of Eritrea. So far, the foreigner is detained in the established order and materials on administrative infringement were issued as to him.

Border guards detected undocumented family from Afghanistan in Uzhgorod

Five citizens of Afghanistan, two of them children, were revealed by the border giards of Chop detachment when performing verification actions in the town of Uzhgorod. Upon district inspector’s request the foreigners could not present their documents confirming their stay within the territory of Ukraine. As it was established later on, detainees had already intended to cross the stat border last year for the second time. Aiming to clarify the circumstances of infringement the family was delivered to Temporay Detention Centre of Chop Detachment, and upon persons identification they will be called to administrative responsibility.

Border guards and staff fo Migration Service detected more than 120 foreigners illegally living in Ukraine

Measures directed on prevention and counteraction to illegal migration have been recently performed in Odessa by the border guards from the subdivisions of Southern Regional Administartion of State Border Guard service together with the representatives of State Migration Service of Ukraine in Odessa region.

In a result of efficient cooperation, the border guards and staff of Migration service revealed 120 citizens of India, 1 –from Iraq, 1 – Turkey and 2 citizens of Pakistan residing in Odessa with the violation of the rules of foreigners’ stay and registration within the territory of Ukraine.

Mentioned persons were called to administrative responsibility in accordance with the Part 1 Article 203 of Administrative Infringement Code of Ukraine and fined for the sum of 510 UAH each.

Border guards apprehended three citizens of Armenia in Lviv region

Two citizens of Armenia were detained by the reaction group of BD “Rava-Ruska”, Lviv Detachment, close to border on Poland due to the information received from local residents, who noticed startngers in the border area. The travelers were stopped some metres befoe the border line. Protocols on attempt to break state border were drawn as to the detainees having passports of the citizens of Armenia. By court decision they were fined for the sum of 3 400 UAH each.

Border guards apprehended Ukrainian and three citizens of Armenia in Luhansk and Lviv regions

Two persons passing beyond the check point were apprehended by the border guards of BD “Milove”, Luhansk Detachment. Unknwn persons made their way towards Russian border being noticed by the district inspector of Border Guard Service and notified the Border Detachment on this issue. The reaction group started at the specified place nad detained the violators 5 meters before the border, close to the village of Milove. One of the detainees was the citizen of Ukraine, the other – from Armenia. When performing verification measures it was established that Armenian had his USSR passport of 1974. Protocol was drafted as to the detainees on violation the state border being referred to the court. Also, the citizen of Ukraine was registered in the Pretrial Investigation Unified Register considering the criminal offence stipulated by the Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine (Illegal transportation through the state border of Ukraine). The persons were handed over to the staff of National Police.

Besides, 2 citizens of Armenia were apprehended by the reaction group of BD “Rava-Ruska”, Lviv Detachment nearby the border on Poland due to the received information from local residents, who noticed strangers within the border area. The travelers were stopped some metres before the border line. Protocols on attempt to violate the state border were issued as to the citizens of Armenia, who had the Armenian national passports. By court decision, the were fined for 3400 UAH each.
