Three citizens of Afghanistan were handed by Slovakian Police to the border guards of Transcarpathia. Illegal migrants were detained nearby the village Nova Sedlyce, Snyna district. They had no any documents. They were delivered to police station. It was established that they crossed Ukrainian-Slovakian border in illegal way, and in Ukraine they were assisted by the guide. One of the Afghanis needed medical aid, he was taken to the hospital. As a result, all were returned to the territory of Transcarpathian region.

Aiming to common counteraction to illegal migration and fight against the trans-border criminality at the exterior land borders of European Union, nowadays the International Joint Operation “Key points” is conducted.

The actions are performed under the common coordination of European Agency Frontex along the western border of EU with Ukraine.

On October 4, 2015, in the frames of these actions, as to the statement of the Slovakian border guards who noticed the movement of the group of persons towards the border guards of Chop Detachment detained a big number of illegal migrants.

The reaction group of BS “V.Bereznyi” at first stopped 4 men without documents 200 m before the border line, according to their words they arrived from Somalia.

Already in 15 minutes, in the course of further searches, border guards detected 5 more persons (according to their words – citizens of Afghanistan) also without documents.

It should be added, that one more violator from Cote d’Ivoire without documents was detected by the border guards of the same detachment during the check of one of the trains in the check point “Chop” arrived from Kyiv.

Transcarpathian border guards stopped the illegal migrants from Somalia and Ethiopia. There were also natives of Iran and Afghanistan…

The other day, Ukrainian border guards apprehended a big group of illegal migrants making their way to Slovakia and Poland.

“Border guards of Chop Detachment detained four persons without documents 200 before the Ukrainian-Slovakian border. Three of them got to Ukraine from Somalia, one – from Ethiopia – State Border Guard Service informs.

Besides, the military men apprehended three more migrants from Iran and 10 Afghanis.

During the check of one of the trains in the check point Chop, inspectors detected a guest from Cote d’Ivoire having no necessary documents. According to preliminary data, the resident of exotic African country arrived to Ukraine for studies. One more citizen of Afghanistan was apprehended by the border detail “Belz” in Lvov region intending to run to Polish side.

Verification is conducted regarding all detainees, the persons are searched, who assisted illegal migrants to reach the border.

Transcarpathian border guards detained 10 illegal migrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tunisia and Syria …

Border detail of BS “Luzhanka” of Mukachevo Detachment detected eight men attempting to cross the line of the state border to Hungary in illegal way. Border guards apprehended unfamiliar persons two hundred meters before the border line. According to their words, four of them – were the citizens of Pakistan, four more – Afghanistan. The violators were delivered to BS “Luzhanka” for administrative protocols preparation.

Two more violators were detained by the border guards of BS “Kosyno” of the same detachment. Illegal migrants also intended to get to Hungary at night, however, their plan failed. Detainees reported that they were the citizens of Tunisia and Syria. However, there were no any documents identifying them. The migrants were delivered to Border Service Department. Their further destiny will be defined by the court.

Arriving to Transcarpathia by the regular bus “Chernovtsy-Uzhgorod” refugees from Syria interested about the better ways to cross the border on European Union from local inhabitants.

In the area of BS “Uzhgorod” of Chop Detachment the district inspector detected and detained three suspicious persons assisted by the service dog, who arrived by the above mentioned regular bus asking the local residents how to cross the state border beyond the check point.

According to their words two of them were the citizens of Algeria, and the third person, citizen of Syria, possessed Ukrainian Permanent Resident Card. The Syrian tried to cross the state border in illegal way already two weeks ago in the area of BS “Kosyno”, Mukachevo Detachment. Thus, an issue on further staying in Ukraine will be defined by the court.

The Minister of Interior of Slovakia Robert Kalynyak has demonstrated appropriate security measures at the eastern border to his Czech colleague Milan Khovanets, it is reported by European Truth. Besides, Kalynyak mentioned the Optasense System allowing monitoring the situation at the border.

“We have a system of microphones at the border allowing detecting different attempts of the illegal border crossing. Thus, the smugglers of illegal migrants cannot use neither underground nor overground ways”, – it was said by Minister.

According to his words, the border has become strengthened by the army, however, the number of policemen is also enlarged who are in the distance of 40 km deep the country and assist in exposing illegal migrant and detain them.
Then, as it was told by Minister, an issue is under consideration whether detainees are asylum seekers or illegal migrants, who according to Agreement on Readmission, are subject to return to the territory of Ukraine.
The head of MOI of Czech Republic appraised and suggested that there are much more policemen at the border than in Poland and Hungary.
“If Greece or any other countries have made just the third of these efforts, Europe would not face this kind of problem as now”, – Khovanets indicated.

The district inspector of Border Service of Mukachevo Border Detachment received information from the member of Public Organization in the inhabited area about the movement of the gtroup of persons of not Slavonic appearance along the automobile road “Shalanki-Pyshkinovo”.

Aiming to realize the received information, border detail of BS “Vilok” apprehended 4 female illegal migrants (1 – citizen of Algeria, 2 – Sudan and 1 – Cote d’Ivoir).

Illegal migrants were delivered to Border Department in order to prepare administrative and litigation documents and conduct filtration-verification measures.

The further destiny of the illegal migrants will be defined by the court.

The government of Germany confessed that they are unable to accept all illegal migrants from Syria. Wishing much to assist Germany has the limit on the number of illegal migrants the country can accept

Detail detected 6 persons moving towards the state border in the area of BS “Luzhanka” of Mukachevo Detachment by means of thermal mobile complex. 

 The group separated nearby the state line. Then, 3 persons were apprehended by the district inspector of Border Service, 3 more persons were stopped by the border detail 300 m before the border line. All detainees introduced themselves as the citizens of Syria. They planned to get to the countries of Central Europe through Hungary. So far, the circumstances and persons assisting illegal migrants in their trip are under establishment. The detainees are delivered to Border Department. Their further destiny will be defined by the court.

Ukraine will make that Hungary refused to do – place refugees from the Northern Africa and the Nearer East on its territory. So, Transcarpathians will have to prepare – we will have to shelter refugees from Africa and Syria in addition to the internally displaced persons from Donbass. To the point, high-rising buildings are constructed in Uzhgorod in accelerated tempo.

Ukrainian part will provide assistance to Europe overcoming the migration crisis. It was reported by State Migration Service of Ukraine. Ukrainian part announces about its readiness to support Europe regarding the solution of the migration crisis and accepts the part of refugees on its territory” – it was said in the statement.

It is worth to mention that on behalf of the President of Ukraine and in accordance with the Law “About refugees and persons in need of subsidiary or temporary protection” as of 08.07.2011 State Migration Service of Ukraine conducts evaluation of national capacities on acceptance of displaced persons and together with other state power authorities performs preparatory measures on refit of the border posts and construction of camps for primary accommodation of the refugees.

The journalist of major German publishing office Die Zeit Malte Henk has published a map in his Twitter, where it is shown how is the new flow of refugees is going to pass. The map was composed in Arab language. It says that now refugees will get to Germany and Poland through Transcarpathian and Lvov regions.

Hank approves that he published the picture of that being shown in the camp of Syrian refugees on the Greek island Kos. It has a new rote of the migrants now passing through Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine (Transcarpathia) and Poland.

It is an alternative route to Germany composed, probably, because Hungary – is central country in the previous course accepting different flows of refugees and constructing the fence at the border has sharply limited the possibility to reach its territory during the last week.

«Does Poland become a new Hungary?

Syrian refugees will pass through new route», — German journalist writes. Malte Henk cannot say that the map to be true or fake, but he assures that he has seen it in one of the group of Syrians.

The way from the Carpathians, including through Ukraine, is the longest than one from Albania to Italy or from Greece to Germany through Hungary, but the reaction of Hungarian government facing uncontrolled flow of refugees may become the reason of appearance of thousands of Syrians already on the territory of Transcarpathia in the course of several weeks.
