In the course of the filtration actions it was learned that a big group of foreigners had arrived to one of the border villages. Aiming not admit the illegal cross of the state border, border guards started the examination of the populated areas within the border line. A complex of measures was continued by the subdivisions of the State Border Service.

Six “travelers” were stopped by the guards during the attempt to cross the state border on Hungary. During detention the unfamiliar persons tried to resist, however, in the result of the coordinated actions of the border detail the violators were apprehended. According to the words of the citizens moving without documents, it was established that they were the migrants from Afghanistan.

One group of five persons, also from Afghanistan, was detained by the border guards of BS “Stuzhytsya” of the same detachment. They also planned to cross the border on Slovakia in illegal way – beyond the check point.

Besides, border guards of Mukachevo Detachment exposed a citizen of Gambia with invalid certificate on refugee status granting in the regular bus “Rakhov-Mukachevo” in the area of responsibility of BS “Delovoe”.

The further verification actions are performed regarding the detainees as well as persons involved in this affair are establishing.

Border guards detained the violators intending to escape to Hungary in the area of BS “Salovka” – two men, two women and two children. In the course of detention the men resisted, however, these attempts were stop by efforts of mobilized military men.

Catching 14 illegal migrants, it was established that a big group of illegal migrants was brought to the border area not far from Chop aiming to take them over the border.

On purpose to prevent this attempt, border guards started to inspect the villages, and illegal migrants learning this decided to cross the border in broad daylight.

The border guards noticed the group of persons moving towards Hungary and waited till they reached the border.

According to the words of the violators, they were the citizens of Afghanistan. They had no any documents. Now, the circumstances of their arrival to Ukraine are under clarification, in particular to Transcarpathia, who brought them to border Transcarpathian villages and where they had been hiding.

Three “travelers’ from Sri Lanka intending to get to Hungary were apprehended by the border guards of BS “Goronglab” of Mukachevo Detachment. The local inhabitant informed the border guards about the appearance of two men and a woman nearby the populated area Lypovo, Transcarpathian region. The border detail started to the place immediately to verify information and with the aim not to admit the illegal cross of the state border. Further on, three unfamiliar persons were detained by law enforcement agents nearby the border. In the course of the inspection it was learned that these citizens had no any documents, and according to their words they were the migrants from Sri Lanka.

Border guards informed Hungarian colleagues about the fact of detention. Detainees were delivered to the border subdivision for identification and preparation of the procedural documents.

State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues to take a complex of measured to counteract illegal migration. Thus, during the day, the officers of Sate Border Guard Service detained 4 groups of illegal migrants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Somalia and Iraq at the border on Hungary.

One of the groups was detected in the area of BS “Salovka” by the border guards of Chop Detachment by means of thermal imagers.

After receiving information about the movement of 14 unfamiliar persons, border details started to the border area aiming to exclude their illegal cross of the state border.

In a result of operative actions performance the travelers were apprehended. In the course of filtration measures it was learned that 12 of them were the citizens of Afghanistan, and two more – Bangladesh and Nigeria. They left 400 meters to reach the border.

Three more groups of illegal migrants were detected and detained by the border guards of Mukachevo Detachment. Thus, the border detail of BS “Kosyno” apprehended 7 persons without documents nearby the border line. According to their words, all of them are migrants from Afghanistan.

Besides, border guards of BS “Goronglab” of the same Detachment also prevented the attempt of the illegal cross of the state border. When the border guards appeared, 4 unfamiliar persons intended to run, so the border detail had to make warning shoots upward to stop them. Two detainees were the citizens of Iraq and two more were from Somalia and Afghanistan. Also, the staff of the BS “Luzhanka” detained 3 citizens of Somalia the day before.

All detainees were delivered to the Temporary Detention Centers. The further destiny of the illegal migrants will be defined by the court.

Two local residents are condemned being involved in organization of illegal cross of the Ukrainian state border in November 2014 for three citizens of Sri Lanka and four citizens of Afghanistan. 33-year-old resident of Vynohradiv district smuggled illegal migrants together with the accomplice. The malefactors have assigned the obligations between themselves – from meeting the groups of illegal migrants, searching the place of their temporary stay to direct transportation to EU countries beyond the check point. On November 10, 2014 the staff of SSU they were arrested at the place. According to the materials of SSU in Transcarpathian region, Mukachevo Municipal District Court recognized the malefactor as being guilty and poisoned him for the term of 5 years and one month appointing the probation period for 3 years.

The staff of the Mobile Border Post “Mukachevo” apprehended 10 unfamiliar persons in the responsible area of BS “Luzhanka” of Mukachevo Detachment in the distance of 3000 meters from the state border of Ukraine in the suburb of the populated area Gunyady, Beregovo district. According to their words, these were the citizens of Afghanistan (4 men, 2 women and 4 children). As it was reported by the press-service of Mukachevo Border Detachment during the detention of 10 illegal migrants, border detail had to apply weapon, namely to make warning shoots upwards to stop the infringement.

The detainees were delivered to the border subdivision to prepare administrative-procedural documents and perform filtration-investigation actions. So far, the citizens of Afghanistan are detained and stay at Temporary Detention Centre. The further destiny of the illegal migrants will be defined by the Court.

The actions to check the separate objects of massive public gathering are continued in the frames of joint operation “Border-2015” in Kyiv and in all directions of the state border.

In the result of conducted operative-searching work the border guards of 10^th Mobile Border Detachment and check point “Kyiv” together with the officers of Secret Service of SSU in Kyiv and Kyiv region, Criminal Fight Department connected with human trafficking of MOI of Ukraine and the staff of State Migration Service of Ukraine detained 35 foreign citizens with the signs of migration law of Ukraine violation.

They were invited to Desnyanskyi SMS of Ukraine in Kyiv. There were 7 foreigners – 2 citizens of Morocco, 2 citizens from Pakistan, one from Angola, Jordan and Mauritania among the disclosed violators were without documents. They were brought to administrative responsibility according to the Article 203 of Code on Administrative Violations of Ukraine as well as an issues is under consideration as to their compulsory deportation beyond the borders of Ukraine.

Also, 10 foreigners – 2 citizens of Azerbaijan, 2 – Turkey and by one from Algeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan – had been subjected to administrative liability for violation of the stay rules on the territory of Ukraine under the Article 203 of CAVU.

Besides, during the last day border guards of BS “Knyaginya”, Chop Detachment apprehended 2 citizens of Iraq in Transcarpathia.

The reaction group of BS “Kosyno” of Mukacevo Detachment getting information from Hungarian colleagues detained a citizen of Syria. Two more Syrians were apprehended by the Hungarian border guards.

Border guards of Transcarpathian BS “Luzhanka”, Mukachevo Detachment detained two illegal migrants in the distance of about 100 meters from the Hungarian border.
During detention one of the violators resisted the border guards, so the border detail was forced to make a warning shot up. Then the offender (preliminarily – Sudanese citizen) stopped.
The service dog assisted to find the trace of another violator. A man introduced himself as a citizen of Syria, also failed to cross the border.
Besides, the border detail of this Department detained 2 citizens of Georgia last night a few dozen meters from the state border.
The detainees were delivered to the border units for the preparation of administrative and procedural documents and filtration and screening activities realization.
The further destiny of four violators will be defined by the court.

State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues to take a complex of measures to counteract the illegal activity at the state border.

Special operations are realized along the whole area of the border involving the power agencies not only of our country as well as of the neighboring ones.

One of them is “Border-2015”, the main aim of which is to fight against illegal migration. Decreasing the level of unlawful activity should be the result of operation which is connected with organization of channel of illegal migrants’ transportation and improve the cooperation at the intra-departmental, intra-agency and international levels in the sphere of counteraction to illegal migration.

In the frames of this operation border guards of BS “Luzhanka” of Mukacevo Detachment detected and detained 5 citizens of Iraq and 1 from Iran the day before. The reaction group arrested the violators moving towards the border on Hungary 3 km before the state border.

Now, the border guards conduct the verification actions as to the violators and searches of the persons involved in assistance to foreigners’ trip.

One more violator was apprehended nearby the border on Poland at the bank of the river the Western Buh by the border guards of BS “Rovno” of Lutsk Detachment. The man had no any documents being previously established as the citizen of South-Eastern Asia.

In the framework of operation “Border – 2015” two citizens of Morocco were detected in Uzhgorod, –  it was reported in the Transportation System Department of Transcarpathian region.

Two Moroccan citizens were detected in the regular bus “Lviv – Uzhgorod” in a result of investigation conducted by the employees HD of SMS together with border guards

When checking documents it was discovered that the men did not have any permission to stay and reside on the territory of Ukraine.

Among the documents identifying the personality there was only driver’s license with a photo of the European sample. The foreigners indicated that a car purchase to be their purpose of the visit to Transcarpathia.

Violating the rules of stay in Ukraine, Moroccan citizens were called to administrative responsibility.

Joint border operation “Border – 2015” has been held since 22 June to 31 August. The aim of the target preventive measures is to prevent and counter illegal immigration and other violations of Ukrainian legislation in the sphere of ​​migration as well as to bring the violators to responsibility in accordance with the laws of Ukraine
