Illegal migrant from Turkey was detained nearby Uzhhorod

During the border guards servicing an unknown person was noticed moving towards to the state border. It was succeeded to detain the illegal immigrant, when he tried to overcome the protective fence. The offender had his Turkish passport. During his interviewing, the detainee admitted that he had an intention to get to Slovakia avoiding the checkpoints.

Currently, the foreigner is taken to the Chop Border Detachment. After clarification of all circumstances, the man will be brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 Art. 204 – 1 of the AICU “Illegal cross or attempt to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine”.

Illegal migrants from Bangladesh were detained in Lviv region

Border guards of BU “Syanky” received a call from the local residents, who informed about two foreigners staying at the railway station. The reaction group immediately started to the mentioned place to verify information. Meanwhile, two undocumented citizens were detained. The law enforcers introduced to be the migrants from Bangladesh and intended to get to the EU countries looking for better life conditions. The men were apprehended by the border guards in administrative order. A decision on attempt to cross the state border by the group of persons will be made by the court.

Petro Tsyhalkin “More than 1,000 illegal migrants were detained only at the “green” border»

The head of the Border Department noted that compared to last year, the number of detained illegal migrants increased by 20% -30%. He also added that the increase in the flow of illegal migration is observed through the channels of legal entry into Ukraine – airports, road checkpoints. The foreigners of this category arrive to our country, allegedly with no intent to go to the EU, and later the border guard detained them on the Western border – in Transcarpathian, Lviv and Chernivtsi regions.

In general, the citizens of Vietnam, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Pakistan, Morocco, Iraq, India and Moldova were among the most detained illegal immigrants on the “green” section of the border. Most of them tried to get to the EU countries outside the checkpoints in search of better living conditions, including across the border on Slovakia – 400 people and Poland – 240 people.

Since the beginning of the year, the border guards detained more than 3 thousand illegal immigrants.

Most of them, which is 1950 people, violated the rules of stay in Ukraine. The “leaders” in this category are the citizens of Moldova, Russia, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Uzbekistan.

In addition, during the border control at checkpoints the SBGS employees denied more than 4.2 thousand potential illegal migrants to enter the territory of Ukraine. They are mainly citizens of Moldova, Russia, Iraq, Turkey, Tajikistan, Nigeria, Libya, Georgia, Azerbaijan and India.

The foreigner with forged passport was detained at Polish border

The  inspector’s attention was attracted by the passport of one of the travelers at the checkpoint ” Mostyska “during the registration of passengers of the train” Lviv-Wroclaw”. The man submitted for control a passport document of a stateless person, issued in Italy.

During the inspection, the border guards found that the passport was partially fake, in particular, a photo of the owner on the information page was replaced. During the further check the border guards found out that the bearer of the document actually was the citizen of Turkey. The man admitted that the day before he arrived to Lviv legally and showed a photo of the driver’s license on the smartphone. During the further database scan the words of the alien confirmed. The border guards did not let the 35-year-old traveler across the border. In his actions, due to the use of the forged document, the signs of the criminal offense were detected provided by the Article 358 of CCU, which was informed by the representatives of the National Police of Ukraine.

The decision in the case on attempt to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine (committed by a group of persons) will be taken by the court.

Border guards detained a car with 7 Chinese citizens in Lviv region

The border patrol stopped the car “Nissan” of Lithuanian registration for inspection near the city of Belz, Lviv region, near the border on Poland. There were a citizen of Uzbekistan, 7 foreigners – one woman and two children and driver. The border guards found out that they were Chinese citizens, arrived to Ukraine under the established procedure through one of the checkpoints by air communication. Besides, it was established that two citizens of China at the beginning of December were already detained by the border guards of the same Department.

The foreigners were taken to the Temporary Detention Center. The protocols on administrative detention are drawn up, the circumstances of the offense are established.

Illegal migrants from Morocco and India were detected by the border guards

According to a local resident’s information, the border guards of the Lviv Detachment a foreigner intended to illegally cross the state border outside the checkpoint. The man was unable to show identity documents. However, according to the latter, he was a citizen of Morocco.

Currently, the foreigner is in the Border Guards Service Department “Rava-Russian” to establish all the circumstances of the offense.

In addition, the soldiers of the same detachment exposed two illegal migrants. In the minibus ” Mercedes “which followed to Poland through the check point “Ustyluh”, there were two passengers without documents. A man and a woman reported to be the citizens of India.

As to the driver of the vehicle, the citizen of Ukraine, and foreigners the protocols were drawn up on signs detection of administrative offences under the Article 202 and Article 204-1 part  2, respectively.

Two Moldovans illegally getting to Ukraine through the river, tried to disappear from the border guards

One of them, according to his words was a citizen of India, being detained in Uzhhorod district, Transcarpathian region. The appearance of the unknown person in the border area was reported to the border guards by local residents. To verify this information, a response team immediately started to the place. Soon the man was found. He had his personal stuff and driver’s license. Currently, the foreigner is taken to the border unit to confirm the identity and establish the circumstances of his stay near the border. He can be called to responsibility for violation of the border regime and attempt of illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine.

Two more offenders by warning shots were detained by the border guards of Belgorod-Dnistrovskyi Detachment near the village of Mayaky. Unknown were found near the border on the bank of the Dniester river. These persons didn’t react to the lawful requirement of the border guards to stop and tried to disappear. However, after warning shots they finally stopped. The detainees had no any documents, but called themselves to be the citizens of Moldova. 53 and 18-year-old foreigners reported that allegedly crossed the river by boat. So far, the detainees are brought to the Department for clarification of all circumstances of the offense and drawing up administrative and procedural documents. Their fate will be determined by the court.

Border guards detained a foreigner by a thermal imager in Odessa region

The violation was recorded near the  village of Vinogradi, Bolgrad district. 26-year-old man was detected by the law enforcers by means of the thermal imager.

The Protocol on administrative offence was prepared as for the legislation violation. His further destiny will be decided by the court.

SBGS staff detained two persons trying to violate the state border

Thus, during the monitoring of the state border, on the outskirts of the village of Nyzhankovychi, the border guards of BU “Smilnytsya” noticed a suspicious person. The man, YOB 1991, was without documents and had only a photocopy of his passport. Later, it turned out that he came to Ukraine last year from Egypt, lived and worked legally for some time, but decided to look for a better life in the West.

And 38-year-old Ukrainian woman, a resident of Vinnytsia region, made her way to Chisinau through the checkpoint “Kuchurgan”. Entering the territory of the checkpoint, she tried to cross the border ot he neighboring county hiding from the border guards. But her intentions failed. It turned out that the offender had an internal passport of the Ukrainian citizen (ID-card), which did not give her the right to cross the border. Probably, knowing that Ukrainian woman decided to act in this way.

In both cases the detainees are brought to administrative responsibility for attempt to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine, the court will make further decision on their cases.

Planned trip to the EU countries finished for two Indian citizens in Ukraine

The soldiers of the BU ” Pavlovychi” stopped the car “Lanos” made its way to the border. The foreigners had no any identity documents. However, they reported that they intended to get to the EU countries outside the checkpoint bypassing the border control.

In order to clarify all the circumstances of the offense and bring them to administrative responsibility for part 2 of article 204-1 of the administrative Code “Illegal crossing or attempt of illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”, illegal migrants were taken to the border unit.
