Odessa law enforcement authorities detected 10 foreigners, who violated the rules on stay in Ukraine

The operational staff of the Southern Regional Department of State Border Guard Service with the involvement of special forces of the Odessa Border Detachment, together with the representatives of the SSU, National Police and other authorities in Odessa region carried out the activities on identification the cases of illegal stay of the foreigners on the territory of Ukraine.

As a result of the joint actions, the law enforcement officers detained 10 foreign citizens from different countries of migration risk, in particular Vietnam, China, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. The violators were in one of the industrial markets of the city.

Detained citizens are brought to responsibility under Part 1 Article 203 of the Administrative Code, also a decision was made to forcibly return 5 citizens to the country of origin.

It will be noted that the border guards of the Odessa Detachment together with other law enforcement authorities within two months revealed and made responsible 75 citizens, natives of the different countries of migration risk, in particular Vietnam, China, Syria, Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan.

In Odessa border guards found 15 foreigners, who violated the rules of staying in Ukraine

The operational staff of the Southern Regional Department of State Border Guard Service with the involvement of the Special Unit of Odessa Border Detachment, together with representatives of State Migration Service, Agency for the Prevention of Human Trafficking and State Security Service of Ukraine in Odessa region carried out activities to identify the cases of illegal stay of foreigners on the territory of Ukraine.

As a result of joint actions the law enforcement authorities detained 15 foreign nationals – immigrants from different countries of migration risk, particularly Vietnam, China, Syria, Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Afghanistan. The violators of the rules for stay on the territory of Ukraine were in one of the industrial markets of the city.

These citizens were taken in SMS in Odessa region for drafting legal documents and making legal decisions under Part 1 Art. 203 of the AICU.

Border guards detained three Cameroons at the Polish border

Reaction group of the BD “Sheheni”, Mostyska Detachment, detained three illegal migrants at the approaches to the state border. In the course of verification actions it was established that the seekers of “better life” arrived from Cameroon. Currently, the offenders are detained in the special premise of the Border Unit, where the circumstances of ther illegal trip are investigated. Detainees will have to bear administrative responsibility for the attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine.

Seven foreign offenders were apprehended by the border guards and interacting agencies during the day

In order counteract illegal migration and violation of the stay rules by the foreigners within the territory of Ukraine a complex of practical events are planned in some regions of the country. Joint servicing of the border guards together with other interacting agencies are organized in the areas of possible unlawful actions.

The previous day, the agents of the Border Department together with the staff of Mohyliv-Podilks, Ismail, Kherson, Mostysk Detachments and representatives of National Police and State Mgration Service detained 7 foreigners in the frames of above mentioned preventive measures.

These were – the citizen of Jordan and frou persons from Azerbaijan, who violated the stay term on the territory of Ukraine, the citizen of Armenian, who had forged stamps on border cross, and the citizen of Cameroon having no any documents. The appropriate materials were drawn up as to the violators under the Ukrainian legislation in force.

In total, since the beginning of the operation “Migrant” the staff of SBGSU prepared more than 1240 protocols only for the foreigners’ offence and stateless persons violating the stay rules in Ukraine and transit trip through the territory of Ukraine. in addition, the violators of the Ukrainian legislation were fined for the sum of 11.1 mln UAH.
