Three migrants from Caucasus travelled to Slovakia

Border guards of Chop Detachment detained 3 illegal migrants originating from Caucasus. In the beginning, the operative group with the service dog detained two men in the area of BS “Guta” , who travelled through the forest in the direction to Slovakia. On border guards’ demand to present their documents, the violators reported that they had no any documents. The “travelers” mentioned that they were the citizens of Georgia and in the search of better life conditions they aimed to get to one of EU countries.

Soon, one more “happiness seeker” was apprehended by the military men of BS “Uzhgorod” not far from the oblast centre. The man without documents also introducing himself as the citizen of Georgia left about a kilometer and a half to reach the cherished border on Slovakia.

The trespassers were delivered to border subdivision for their identification, establishing the circumstances of the infringement and preparing administrative-procedural documents. Decision on responsibility before the law and their further destiny will be defined by the court.

Nine violators were detected in the airports of Kyiv and Lviv

Border guards of Separate check point “Kyiv” detected a forged passport of the citizen of Bulgaria during the check in of the passengers. The man arrived from Istanbul gave this document. The page with constituent data of the bearer was replaced in the passport. The passenger explained that he was Iranian, the forgery he bought in Turkey for $5000 to get to the countries of European Union .

Also, Russian was detected in “Boryspil”. Wishing to get to Ukraine he changed his surname. The citizen of Russia arrived by the flight from Moscow with new passport. 27-year-old man explained that he had recently been issued the document, thus his previous passport was as if washed accidentally. However, soon the border guards established that Russian man intentionally changed his surname and the passport as he was banned to enter Ukraine by authorized body. So far, the passenger is sent back by return flight to the country of departure.

Besides, the workers of SBGS rejected in entering the territory of Ukraine to 7 citizens of Turkey in the airport “Lviv”. The travelers arriving by the flight from Istanbul could not confirm the goal and place of their stay in Ukraine during the interview. Also it was established that they did not have sufficient financial means to stay in the country. The citizens were returned by the same flight to Turkey.

Pseudo French and Turk were detained at Ukrainian-Polish

In the course of two days border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment detained two foreigners trying to get illegally to Poland.

Thus, the inspector of Border Service detected a woman, who attempted to cross the border with the passport of the citizen of France in the check point “Krakovets” in Lviv oblast during the check in of the passengers of the regular bus “Kyiv-Köln”. Preparing beforehand, the woman skillfully posed as Frenchwoman, however, it turned out that she had true documents in the course of the interview. As it was established 25-year-old citizen of Congo in such a way intended to depart to the countries of European Union.

By the court decision, the woman was called to administrative responsibility for the attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine. The matter is also under consideration concerning the compulsory exclusion of the foreigner.

The day before, the citizen of Turkey was apprehended with Bulgarian passport in the same check point. In the process of documents examination border guards detected the signs of its partial forgery, besides the change of identification page. As it was clarified, 27-year-old man travelled by car to the countries of the Western Europe in the search of better life.

The officers of SSU were informed upon the falsification of passport document. The detainee is called to administrative responsibility in the form of arrest for 15 days with further exclusion from Ukraine in accordance with the court decision.

Transcarpathian resident assisted 23 migrants to get abroad illegally and got to prison

In Transcarpathia, the sentence of Volovets Regional Court came into force against 32- year-old resident of Svalyava accused under Part 2 Article 332 of Criminal Code of Ukraine .

In July 2013 the malefactor took six illegal immigrants on his own minibus to the village of Bukovets, Volovets region and handed them over to other persons for direct transportation to the neighboring country beyond the checkpoints.

On August 13, while transporting the next group, the vehicle was detained by SSU officers in Transcarpathian oblast, in which there were seven illegal migrants and local persons.

The investigation established that in such a way Transcarpathian resident assisted in smuggling 23 illegal immigrants during July – August 2013.

The inspectors of Department of SBU in Transcarpathian oblast region completed and sent to court the criminal proceedings on assistance in organizing illegal transportation of illegal migrants through the state border of Ukraine.

Volovetsky Regional Court found the local resident guilty and sentenced to five years’ imprisonment with a probation period of 3 years with confiscation of assets and items used in crime commitment – minibus – to the state revenue.

Three Iranians were detained in Bukovyn

On April 4, at about 2 p.m. border guards of BS “Krasnoilsk” Chervivtsi Detachment detained 3 citizens of Iran without any document 2 km before the state border. Information about possible cross of the state border by the foreign citizens was received by the legal enforcement agents beforehand. Due to operative actions of border detail three persons (2 men and a woman) without documents were detected and detained at self-made heating place of the foresters.  While interviewing the detainees, they confessed that they were the citizens of Iran. All of them were delivered to border subdivision in order to draw up administrative and procedural documents according to the Article 202, 204-1 CUAI and conduct filtration actions. The circumstances and details of the infringement are under establishment.

Syrian Loran has become a native in Ukraine

Refugees … Their fates are similar. Rooted up form their native lands, they are forced to seek asylum far beyond the borders of Ukraine, where they were born. Their lives are formed in different ways. However, they are still foreigners everywhere, where would they live, others find another motherland for themselves.

Loran is from far Syria. He arrived to Ukraine in 2006 in order to enter DonetskUniversity and his fate emerged in different way. Once arriving to Ternopil, he stayed here. Clever young boy learned he language quickly and adapted in a new place. Soon, he became a student of TernopilNationalTechnicalUniversity. He was enrolled to Ukrainian group – and now he is proud of it.

But, Loran failed to finish his studies. In 2011 armed conflict started in Syria. His family was in financial difficulties and his parents had no any opportunity to assist his son-student.  Some period he started to pay out the studies himself, but finally he had to leave the University. Coming back home meant to undergo pursuit of religion: the Christians had just become persuaded in Syria. However, he finally connected with Ukraine because of the birth of his daughter.

“Destiny presented me three princesses, who possess equal place in my heart, Loran confesses. One is brunette with brown eyes, the other blue-eyed blond – is Ukraine, and the third one is my daughter Inessa, who took the best features from two previous ones.”

Decision to stay was made. So far, Loran needs to legalize his lawful residence in Ukraine.

He applied to Department of Migration Service in 2013. After conducting all procedures stipulated by the active legislation he was recognized as a person in need of subsidiary protection. In the nearest future he will be issued a corresponding certificate. This document will enable him with all rights of the citizen of Ukraine, except electing one.

Talk about the settlers from Crimea took place in a live television broadcast

The first chief deputy of Department of SMS in Chernivtsi oblast Viktor Pyslar in the program “Realities” at TV channel “Bukovyn” talked about support of the residents of AR Crimea and Sevastopol and maximal assistance to this category of the citizens in rendering administrative services. He marked that according to last data 75 residents (out of them 27 children ) were registered in the subdivisions of SMS of Bylovyn.

Except the representative of Migration Service, the volunteers, representatives of Pension Fund, Social Protection, Oblast Education, deputies of Oblast Council, directors of Higher Educational Establishments (HEE) also took part in the talk, who provided Crimean students with the opportunity to continue studies in Bukovyn as well as the student from the eastern Ukraine that were invited to Chernivtsi HEEs.

Russians active participants of Euro Maidan also apply to Polish government with applications on refugee status granting

Russians supporting Ukrainian people during Euro Maidan are forced to address to the authority of Poland with request to grant them refugee status due to fears of persecution.

59-year-old citizen of Russian Federation addressed to the border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment, Lviv oblast, with request to let him pass the state border of Ukraine to Republic of Poland. He informed that he was Tatar himself, but he was native of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the last 7 years he had been residing on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, he had to leave his home, wife and children because of political persecution. He also actively participated in the events at Maidan, by his personal example he witnessed the solidarity of not indifferent citizens of Russia to the fate of Ukrainian population. However, in result of occupation of the Crimea, he left without new home and because of fear of revenge, he decided to ask asylum in Poland.

After coordination of formalities with Polish colleagues, border guards performed the pass of the citizen through the state border within the specified order by legislation.

Fourteen more Crimeans applied for refugee status in Poland

Lately, the western area of the border is crossed by the citizens of Ukraine, residents of the Crimean peninsula, rather frequently aiming at further granting of refugee status.  Thus, 14 more citizens, residents of the towns of Simferopol, Alyshta and Evpatariya travelled through the check point “Shegeni” to Republic of Poland. During the passport control, they reported about their wish not to live on the occupied territory and fear that violence would be applied to them. On this point, border guards of Mostytskyi Detachment informed the Polish colleagues and at their consent they took measures to assist their country fellows.

In the course of two weeks, about 65 persons crossed the state border in the area of responsibility of Mostytskyi Detachment aiming at further submission of request to authorized bodies of Poland on getting refugee status.

Two Azerbaijanis were detained in Luhansk oblasts

Information about possible illegal cross of the state border by the foreign citizens in the direction to the populated area Tritske was received by the border guards of Luhansk Detachment beforehand. Soon, due to operative actions of the border detail the citizens of Azerbaijan (1962 and 1974 year of birth) were detected and detained.

In the course of verification actions it was established that 49-year-old citizen of Russian Federation probably intended to take over the border the mentioned persons. So far, the measures are taken on setting all circumstances of the infringement.
