Two cars driven by the citizens of Transcarpathia transporting illegal migrants were stopped nearby the state border, – it is reported by Press-Service of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The citizens of Ukraine transported two migrants from Georgia. They confessed in their intention to cross the state border of Ukraine avoiding the check points. Procedural documents are composed as to the violators, which were passed to the court to define the measure of their punishment.

One more car was stopped by the border guards of Mukachevo Detachment at the control post “Nyzhni Vorota” in Transcarpathia. The driver, citizen of Ukraine, transported two citizens of Iraq and one from Sudan. Verification measures are undertaken as to them.

In the frames of counteraction to illegal migration, law enforcement agents apprehended 16 migrants from Asia and 4 citizens of Turkey.

Operative subdivisions of State Border Guards Service in cooperation with other law enforcement agents continue measures directed upon counteraction and exposure of the channels of persons’ illegal transportation through the state border in the frames of operation “Border-2015”. Thus, in Kyiv the officers of Mobile Detachment of SBGS and SSU prevented the smuggling of 16 illegal migrants originating from southern-eastern Asia. On preliminary information, three of them were the citizens of Bangladesh, 5 – India, 8 more – from Pakistan. The foreigners were detained in one of the hostels in Darnytsya district. The law enforcement agents established that it was planned to transport them illegally to EU countries via western area of the border. At present, measures are continued on identification of the organizer of migrants’ illegal transportation.

Other travelers were stopped in Transcarpathia by the staff of Chop Border Detachment. Local residents warned border guards about appearance of unknown persons. Soon, border guards apprehended 2 citizens of Turkey with two children in the area of BS “Uzhgorod” nearby the border. The migrants planned to get to European countries in illegal way.

Border guards of Mukachevo Detachment stopped the car at the border post “Nyznie Vorota”, Volovets district. The driver, citizen of Ukraine, transported two migrants from Iraq and one from Sudan. Verification measures are undertaken in their regard. It was reported in the press service of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Austria will be fenced from the flow of migrants by the wall at the border on Slovenia. Austria plans to construct the protective wall along the border on Slovenia to reduce the flow of migrants.

About 250 ethnic Czechs from Ukraine could move to Czech Republic in 2016. This information was reported by the Prime Minister Boguslav Sobotka during the interpellation in the Parliament. According to his words, there are much more applications on resettlement.

In the end of August of the current year, Czech Republic has registered 119 applications for ethnic Czechs resettlement residing in Ukraine. In 2015 CR allotted 66 million CZK (2.3 mln. euro) for their resettlement.

Displaced persons have a right to get free housing and food in the course of six months in Czech Republic as well as master Czech language and be assisted in the search of dwelling and job. Adults get one paid allowance in the amount of 50 thousand CZK (1785 euro), 20 thousand CZK is given for children (715 euro).

Eight citizens of Afghanistan and a probable smuggler were apprehended by the border guards of Mukachevo Detachment.

The group of “travelers” was stopped by the border detail servicing in the area of border post together with MOI officers in order to check documents nearby the populated area of Beregovo.

All detainees reported that they originated from Afghanistan during the verification. Local resident was also apprehended with the illegal migrants. So far, law enforcement agents verify his involvement in the assistance to illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine.

Also, border detail of Mukachevo Detachment noticed the movement of six unfamiliar persons towards the border in the area of BS “Goronglab” at night during their servicing at the observation tower. Reaction group started to the place together with the border detail, detainees were caught some meters before the border line.

The men did not have any documents, however they introduced as the migrants from Iraq. The border guards prepared the protocol on administrative infringement and detainees were delivered to border subdivision for circumstances establishment…

The police investigator detected and detained a group of illegal migrants in the number of eight persons of the age 16-37 on the mountain Kuklya in the suburb of Beregovo. They had no documents proving their identity and legality of their presence on the territory of Ukraine. According to the preliminary information, this group traveled towards the state border on Hungary and intended to cross it in illegal way. Also, there was 23-year-old previously convicted inhabitant of Beregovo together with illegal migrants. The law enforcement agents verify its participation in assistance in illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine.

If commitment of this infringement is confirmed, a criminal case will be proceeded as to Article 332 of Crime Code of Ukraine.

The staff of Police Service on Human Trafficking together with officers of Road Traffic Service and border guards detained six illegal migrants from Afghanistan in the village of Nyzni Vorota, Volovets district at the special post.

As it was reported in the MOI of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region, the law enforcement agents stopped the minibus to check.

The car with Hungarian vehicle registration being driven by the resident from Vynohradovo entered the region from the neighboring Lviv region. There were six passengers in the car, representing themselves as citizens of Afghanistan. These were 2 women and 3 children, of them a 3-year-old handicapped child unable to move himself. The migrants explained on imperfectly spoken Russian that they escape from Afghanistan, and they fear because there is also war in Ukraine wishing much to get to Europe.

The driver of the bus explained that passengers were taken in the road feeling sorry for children. He did not understand that they were Afghanis at night time.

Illegal migrants were apprehended by police and after corresponding documenting they would be passed to Migration Service.

Two illegal migrants were apprehended by Transcarpathian border guards in the area of BS “Uzhgorod” of Chop Detachment. Illegal migrants were detected in the electric train Lvov-Uzhgorod. The men were without any documents. During the interview border guards established that both migrants were the citizens of Turkey. They planned to get to EU countries passing the check points.

One more illegal migrant was detained in the forest by the border guards of BS “Tysa” of Chop detachment. This was the citizen of Kazakhstan. Local inhabitant informed the border guards about the man moving towards Hungarian border. The reaction group started to the place of detention and stopped the violator 250 m before the state border line. The detainee had no any documents and introduced himself as the citizen of Kazakhstan. The man confessed in his intention to get to the countries of European Union in illegal way.

Protocols on administrative violation were drawn regarding three illegal migrants. Their further destiny will be defined by the court.

Border guards of BS “Dyakovo” of Mukachevo Detachment detained the citizen of Syria. A man was detected in the regular bus “Vynogradovo-Velyka Palad” 3 km before the border. The man was planned to get to EU countries beyond the check point. The seeker of happiness has been apprehended for the second time. Thus, two weeks before, man together with his wife were detained for attempt to cross the border using forged passport beyond the check point “Vilok” of Mukachevo Detachment.

Two more illegal migrants were detected by means of mobile thermal imager by the border guards of BS “Luzhanka”. Two persons without document were detained 100 m before the state border. According to the words of the detainees, they were the citizens of Syria and Palestine. So far, filtration measures are conducted with the detainees.
