In Odessa border guards found 15 foreigners, who violated the rules of staying in Ukraine

The operational staff of the Southern Regional Department of State Border Guard Service with the involvement of the Special Unit of Odessa Border Detachment, together with representatives of State Migration Service, Agency for the Prevention of Human Trafficking and State Security Service of Ukraine in Odessa region carried out activities to identify the cases of illegal stay of foreigners on the territory of Ukraine.

As a result of joint actions the law enforcement authorities detained 15 foreign nationals – immigrants from different countries of migration risk, particularly Vietnam, China, Syria, Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Afghanistan. The violators of the rules for stay on the territory of Ukraine were in one of the industrial markets of the city.

These citizens were taken in SMS in Odessa region for drafting legal documents and making legal decisions under Part 1 Art. 203 of the AICU.

Border guards detained illegal immigrants from Azerbaijan and Bangladesh nearby Uzhhorod

Another “seekers of better life” were detained last night by the border guards of Border Unit “Uzhhorod”, Chop Detachment.

The residents of the village Onokivtsi, Uzhhorod district informed the officers about the movement of unknown persons near the state border. Three Azerbaijani and one citizen of Bangladesh intended to cross the border beyond the checkpoints to get to Slovakia. Only one of the offenders had identifying document. However, all four foreigners confessed their intention to get to the EU with the purpose of illegal migration.

Currently, the border guards find out all circumstances of the crime and establish a circle of involved persons. The foreigners will be brought to the administrative responsibility under Part 2 Article 204-1 of AICU “Illegal cross or attempt to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine”.

Turk and two Azerbaijaniы attempted illegally to get to Poland

In the evening borer detail of the Border Unit “Smilnytsya” noticed the motion of a group of unknown persons 50 m before the border. the law enforcers started searches of possible offenders and soon they detained two foreigners – citizens of Turkey and Azerbaijan. At dawn, the border guards found one more Azerbaijani. It was established that all foreigners arrived to Ukraine in legal way in the end of August by sea, however, they wished to continue their trip to the EU countries illegally. They are threatened with a fine for the sum of 8500 to 13600 UAH or administrative arrest for the term of ten to fifteen days for attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine.

Seven foreign offenders were apprehended by the border guards and interacting agencies during the day

In order counteract illegal migration and violation of the stay rules by the foreigners within the territory of Ukraine a complex of practical events are planned in some regions of the country. Joint servicing of the border guards together with other interacting agencies are organized in the areas of possible unlawful actions.

The previous day, the agents of the Border Department together with the staff of Mohyliv-Podilks, Ismail, Kherson, Mostysk Detachments and representatives of National Police and State Mgration Service detained 7 foreigners in the frames of above mentioned preventive measures.

These were – the citizen of Jordan and frou persons from Azerbaijan, who violated the stay term on the territory of Ukraine, the citizen of Armenian, who had forged stamps on border cross, and the citizen of Cameroon having no any documents. The appropriate materials were drawn up as to the violators under the Ukrainian legislation in force.

In total, since the beginning of the operation “Migrant” the staff of SBGSU prepared more than 1240 protocols only for the foreigners’ offence and stateless persons violating the stay rules in Ukraine and transit trip through the territory of Ukraine. in addition, the violators of the Ukrainian legislation were fined for the sum of 11.1 mln UAH.

Border guards stopped the trip of Azerbaijani citizen near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border

The Azerbaijani citizen, who tried to bypass the checkpoint “Maidan-Kopyschansky” to enter the territory of the Republic of Belarus, was detained last night by the border guards of the Zhytomyr Detachment.

So, after procession the information received from the operational divisions of the Northern Regional Department, the border guards of BD “Kopysche” found a man, who, overcoming obstacles and ignoring the information signs, was traveling in the direction of the state border. The border detail immediately took measures to detain this person.

The offender was 29-year-old citizen of Azerbaijan.

In the course of further investigation it was determined that the foreigner had recently come to the territory of Ukraine and intended to get by transit to the territory of Belarus. However, the staff of the BGS of the neighboring country refused him in entry and returned to Ukraine.

During his return the foreigner has been granted the right to pass through the territory of Ukraine to Azerbaijan by transit within 72 hours, but Azerbaijani has ignored this requirement. Exceeding the period of his stay on the territory of the country, the foreigner has repeatedly decided to go to Belarus, but this time in illegal way. Arriving to the village by passing transport, the foreigner walk out of the checkpoint trying to cross the border on Belarus, where, a few meters from the state line he was detained by the border guards for trying to violate the state border.

Currently, the procedural documents are prepared as to the offender for his violation of the Articles 204-1 (Illegal cross or attempt to cross illegally the state border of Ukraine) and 203 (Violation of the stay rules in Ukraine and transit pass through the Ukrainian territory by the foreigners or stateless persons) of the Administrative Infringement Code of Ukraine. Also the border guards made decision on the foereigner’s ban to enter the territory of Ukraine for the period of 3 years.

Azerbaijani tried to enter Ukraine illegally twice for a day

The Azerbaijani citizen, who tried twice to cross the state border in one day, was detained by the border guards of the Chernihiv Detachment.

The violator was noticed by a district inspector of Border Guard Service in the direction of Ukrainian-Russian border. The man had no any documents and introduced himself to be the citizen of Azerbaijan.

Subsequently it was established that this citizen exceeded the term of his stay in Ukraine. In the morning of the same day he was not allowed to cross the border at the checkpoint “Novi Yarylovychi”.

The Protocols on violation of the state border and border regime were drawn up as to the offender. Currently, the foreigner is kept in the Temporary Detention Facility. Filtration measures are continued.
